Cannot upload 7z or XAR attachments?

Is it possible for the Adobe Forums to support uploading of 7z and/or XAR compressed attachments?  The Attach Files disclaimer says all files are allowed except for ".doc, .bin, .dms, .lha, .lzh, .exe, .class, .so, .dll".  So I'm curious what the issue is.

As far as I have been able to determine the problem is that files with

an unknown mime type are rejected as well. Make sure your browser

uploads the files with a well known (and allowed) mime type.

Just added 7z and XAR to my MIME mapping in Safari 4 and Firefox 3.5.  Still getting this error from Adobe Forums when uploading...
