Please save me from my doppelganger

I have tried to logout/login as usual, following these instructions, thrice now, to no avail,

Edit: I wonder who is the doppelganger now. The name here looks right, right now.

I have tried some more times, even closing down the FF session after each step.

Obviously, what I need is to get rid of the doppelganger and have my posting history reconnected to my right name.

Until then, I am unable to post, apart from this hopefully imminently doomed thread.

I have done the login\log out instructions, and currently can post as Jeffrey_Smith, but all user info linked to 6H7DLI.

May I have the Jeffrey_Smith account restored with user info from Jeffrey_Smith-6H7DLl?

While being my doppelganger, I noticed a rather strange, and disturbing, thing:

Going into Your Stuff>Private Messages to send a PM to John, the Sent Messages contained an old message from me to John asking for rescue, dated October 2009. Now there are two messages in the Sent Messages.

This seems to mean that the doppelganger is lurking in some hidden place.
