Wrt to the forum, John is near omnipotent. However, is it really worth

The message sent out by Adobe to encourage people to sign on to the forums to enable the migration to take place could be interpreted by many people as a phisihing exercise.
The email has all the hallmarks of a phisihing email.
1. It dores not address the user by name.
2. It claims they will lose access to something if they don't log in by a certain date.
3. It contains a link to a site where you are meant to log in for this to happen.
4. There is no suggestion in the email that people type the address directly into their browser rather than following the link.

I did go to the Adobe site manually and migrated that way, rather than following the link in the mail. So for all I know this mail could still be a phishing exercise.

Can someone from Adobe confirm that such an email was sent out. If they did send it out, then it needs to be altered so it looks less suspicious.

Yes it was... and no doubt only to people that did not check the "no mail" link when they registered. (I only got one copy!)

I'll leave it for the Forum Manager to say more... I'll just leave this 'rest assured' note for now.

Link to the test website was sent to me with titles with every language Adobe supports.

I've found the possible reason why I might be constantly having to sign in. If I use the test link my user name is PjonesCET. If I use the username I setup in webxx is pjonesCET. So I've gone to my preferences and changed my webxx username to PjonesCET.

This is some nonsense about travelling in time. At least, it begins by talking about this, but my stomach didn't stand more than about 4 lines. Also repeated in other languages, I would say.
