Recently (January 12 2024) I recieved a new laptop computer to replace an older laptop.  I initialized the new laptop and loaded my photoshop subscription products.  At the same time I removed the same products from my older laptop and I used the Creative Cloud because there was no other way to remove these products.  Uninstall did not work.   All seemed Ok until I looked at my Desktop computer.  The Desktop computer is were I do most of my work.  The Deskop computer was completly reset to as new.  Every program needed to be reinitialized.  Also, my extensive Lightroom calalogues were removed from the desktop (it took a full day to recreate a new catalgue).   I am wondering if this is a unique experince.  It is quite disconcerting to find that my desktop was reinitialized somehow.  (in fact the password to open the computer was removed as well) Windows security was running on the Desktop. Thoughts?

Hi,I created a dashboard to look at site code performance that I would like to schedule for automated delivery. There are several site code values applicable to my particular client that I have filtered in (vs all other values used by other clients) and they are a combination of letters and numbers. I would like to add a custom description so that whoever sees what I plan to send can understand each site code placement in plain English (e.g. see 'Banner on Homepage' in addition to rstab7ea4).Is that possible? if so, how? Thanks in advance

I'm having difficultly signing into my Microsoft enterprise account. When I finish signing into my enterprise, I am given the following result. When you click on "extensions" you go to the next image. You can see the Windows Accounts extension is greyed out because this sign-in portal isn't chrome. So I can't sign in because it's a chrome portal and I can't pass my enterprise security because it's not chrome. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks.

Just saw a report about IA cyber Kidnapping. The kidnappers somehow get a sample of someone's voice then uses AI to convince a family member that that person has been kidnapped. Scary what AI can do. At Adobe MAX, several years ago, such technology was demonstrated. Most people were in awe of how true to life the generated voice was, but also very concerned about how it could be used.

Why Adobe, why? I WANT TO OWN MY SOFTWARE, NOT RENT. What makes you think that offering only rental software is a good idea? And yes, it is rental. From what I can see, there is no way to purchase and own the programs such as a Creative Suites. If there is no way to own, it can only be rented. So does that mean I can have my lawyer draw up a rental agreement? That way you can't "evict" me for what ever you see fit. If I join the cloud, and in 2 years can no longer afford it, I lose my programs. How do you expect to keep customers doing business like that. I was very excited for the release of CS7 after seeing all the great videos of new improvements to Premier Pro. It was a done deal, I was ready to buy. Now, I will stay with CS6 indefinitely, or until I find another editing solution. What I really don't understand is why you would do this, considering all of the FCP converts coming over. i am wondering if I should buy a pair of prescription auto change color glasses( indoor is a normal glasses, outdoor will auto changed to sunglasses).  do you have any expericne to share with me?  will that take too long to change color once i sit in my office from outside? or if my office is bright (have all the curtains up), will the glasses change the color? i don't want that bother my work, but i am so tried of carry two glasses ...please share your exprecie with me. thank you in advance.
