Hi, I'd like to understand if I need a license for the below. I create wall art using hand cut paper as well as wooden decorations including names, numbers and alphabets. I would like to use an Adobe font within these designs. This would not be a printed format but the font shapes used in paper or wood to create a final product for display in the home. Customers are also able to choose a name or word to personalise some items, but everything would be created by me and a final physical product sent to the end consumer. No letters would be sold as an individual product.

En revanche au bureeau lorsque je reprends mon documents sur un autre PC la police ne s'active pas et je ne trouve que la Source Sans Pro OTF.Pas de problème me direz vous ! Beh si, mon document fait 128 pages et l'oeil de la SourceSans Pro OTF est légèrement plus grand, ce qui me décale tout mon texte et donc ma mise en page. Sur 128 pages chaînées, autant dire que c'est la catastrophe !Si quelqu'un a une piste pour résoudre ce problème ou un conseil je suis preneur !D'avnce merci.Bien à vous.Frédéric

I have been using the same T1 Helvetica Neue fonts for years, but as of yesterday the light weight versions (25, 35, 45) of the family aren't working in InDesign, yet work in other CC apps. Anyone know why this maybe?

Hi, I've designed a font that uses some color glyphs in addition to monochromatic glyphs.  However, the color glyphs are displaying in InDesign (current version) as monochromatic. The font displays correctly in a variety of other programs, including Word. I've tried exporting the font as both COLR and SVG, but neither is working. Is there a setting in InDesign I'm missing? The font displays correctly otherwise, including ligatures and contextual alternates. Thanks,Dan

I use Blender for 3D modelling and would like to use Typekit fonts in my project. Blender can access local fonts from the OS font folder. Is this possible?

If I design a logotype using the font in Adobe fonts and create the outline of it.Is it legal to trademark the logo?  Thank you.

I have an issue. We are trying to inform our clients about Adobe ending usage of Type 1 fonts. We normally receive pdf files. How do I differentiate? The majority of my clients are saying they are using Open Type but when checking the properties everything in their pdf files says they are Adobe postscript (Type 1) fonts. Any info is greatly appreciated

I'm using Adobe Web Fonts and would like to know more specifically how they work. Is the embed code that is generated for inserting into a web page tied specifically to my own CC subscription? In other words, is there a direct link from the embed code to Adobe's web font servers or if I deactivate the web project, do the fonts no longer display correctly on web sites even though they have the embed code? 

I don't really know where to put this because Adobe Spark does not have its own section on the forums. Were the icons in Adobe Spark created by Adobe? And can they be used for free commercially?

 I would like to know if our organisation have a corporate subscriptions for each of our devs, and one of our dev had created a web project to allow us to use an Adobe web fonts on one of our website.If the dev left an the account is then close will the font also stop working?, even though our corporate subscription is still active? If yes, Could we link the web project to our corporate subscription instead so that we can avoid this kind of issue?

I've been fighting with my font menus, actually drowning in them. Seems like the 641 system fonts in Big Sur are locked and there's nothing you can do about it. I just had a conversation over in the Apple Community and apparently it would "take 10 minutes" for developers to create a way to customize font menus for end users. Is that correct? Does anyone know and is Adobe working on that? I just want to find a button some where that specifies English only fonts - or what ever language you want to use - and reduce the enormously long font menus that have appeared in my Adobe apps.   This topic has absolutely nothing to do with the Adobe Fonts service. Has anyone managed to import Adobe font families into Bubble.io successfully? I have been trying for days and nothing seems to be working. Any advice would be great. It seems as though I need to download the fonts from Adobe and import them back in to bubble which doesn't seem possible. The typekit CSS given to me doesn't work and only gives the regular font of each family, rather than giving me variants within the typeface. Appreciate your help!

I was at Adobe Max 2019 and stopped the Adobe booth . . . they were handing out a little booklet called "Type Tasting" . . . do you know if I can get more of those?

Hi Adobe Hive minds...Is there anyway that I can allow a client to remotly view adobe fonts so they may choose one for the logo I am about to design for them.They are not CC members and because of the current zombie appocolypse we cannot get together. I am wondering what the options are for schools that use a device license setup in order to access the adobe font library. Having an Adobe account does not comply with our states Ed Law 2D requirements, so what is the solution to accessing more fonts? Can the system admin for the school access and install them?  Please help. I saw posts about this a few years back. I am hoping there are more options now. 

As of Windows 10 1803, users have been able to install fonts to their machines without requiring local administrator privileges.There are currently two options when you right click a font file:Install - Does not require local administrator privileges, the font will be installed to "AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Fonts"Install for all users -  Does require local administrator privileges, the font will be installed to "%SystemRoot%\Fonts"Currently if a user does not have local administrator privileges and opts to use the "Install" option Adobe applications do not discover the font.Are there any plans to change this? It would be great if Adobe applications searched both directories for fonts so that users without local administrator privileges could install fonts themselves and then use them in Adobe applications without having to use a third party font manager tool.

I did a search here but the most recent thing that comes up is from 2003.Does anyone know of any good software that I can make fonts with? This is my first attempt and I want something free or inexpensive just to see how I like it.Thanks!

Hi all, quick question here around font licencing. I'm working on a re-brand that may include an Adobe font. I have a licence through my organisation and therefore  can access and use this font. However, going forward, many designers within the company will need to use this across multiple projects online and off. How do we licence something like that? Or is it already okay as we have a CC subscription (though not available company wide). Any info appreciated. ThanksChristos

Hi all,    Managing fonts for a business - we have font folio stored in folders on a drive and are then distributed to users accodring to license arrangements. How would I go about identifying which fonts are Type 1 ?Looking through each font family individually is not an option with so many in the folio.   Thanks,   Moving to the Type & Typography community since the Adobe Font Folio product has nothing to do with the Adobe Fonts service. - MOD.

Hi its a long shot, I can't find the font 'Made Tommy' does anyone know a font on here closest to it? Thanks
