I am missing fonts on my computer and trying to update documents that my designer created. My computer is missing Gotham rounded bold and Gotham book. I know these exist and I should be able to load them via Adobe. I have a full license but don't understand why they are not available for me to download. Appreciate help with this issue so I don't have to disturb my designer who is on paternity leave. Thaknks
I am a book designer and we are doing a book with a lot of weird and special character's. I am very familiar with accents and different marks on letters, like these (é, î, å á etc.). However, I cannot get this one to work. We are using the font: Bembo for the entire document and I need the:āĀCurrently I have it "rigged" in the sentences using leading and kerning, but this will be a nightmare for ebooks etc. The glyph seems like it doesn't exist for this character and font. Can somebody help with a suggestion? Thanks, T—
Fonts: Is there a way to Install purchased, licensed font families not included in Adobe? I have many that I don't want to lose the use of (I paid for them, after all). I love typography, so I'm not likely to stop looking for new ones to buy! I just started with Creative Cloud All apps, on a Windows 11 laptop I had to purchase when my old computer with CS4 bit the dust. So everything's the "Latest" but now I'm having trouble figuring everything out. I will be grateful for anything you can teach me.
Several years ago, I used a “People Font” — a font where all the letters were composed of people. I can not remember the name or find the font search as I might. The font looked something like the attached istock stock image. The image is for reference only. Does anyone know the name of the font I used back then, or know a similar font available today, that I can use to set live type?
I've just updated to Creative Cloud. I need ITC Stone Sans. Where's best?
"If I have installed a font from the internet, I can't find it in my Adobe Creative Cloud or InDesign. What am I doing wrong? I really need this font in InDesign."
I saw that my Borel font was added to Adobe's catalogue, which I am happy about, but the author is not Google, it's me: Rosalie Wagner. Just as mentioned on Google Fonts, and in the font's metadata etc. GF didn't commissioned that release. Is there a way to fix that mistake ? The author's info can easily be taken from Google Fonts etc.thanks
I'm looking for some advice on what font management options (paid or free), if any, I should consider. I was looking at FontBase but I found out that when packaging InDesgin documents for archiving it won't include the fonts, which is a bit of a problem for me... unless there is an easy manual workaround? I liked the other features FontBase offered - automatically activating or deactiving fonts depending on what document you are working on. Currently I just use Font Book but it's a bit of a mess and isn't organised. Also, it doesn't have the activating/deactiving feature I was hoping for. All fonts are just activated all the time. Many thanks.
I utilized the font Phosphate last year through Adobe fonts and it is no longer available. Can I get confirmation that this was once available through Adobe and when availibilty was discontinued?

I'm looking for good tools to enhance my creative workflow and would love to hear your experiences with their platform or similar resources.
HiDoes anyone know when Adobe started including Future PT as one of their fonts. I know it is cleared for personal and commercial use now, but when did this start?
I found this font on the following web page:https://creativecloud.adobe.com/cc/discover/article/typography-101-a-crash-course-of-terms-to-know?locale=frDespite searching Adobe Font, What font is and What the font, I can't identify it.Does anyone know which font it is?Thank you so much!
I want to be able to adjust the kerning permanently for 2 characters in a family of Adobe fonts. Can I do this? (I constantly have to do this by hand and it would be great if the font could "learn" my desired kerning.)It's Myriad Pro family. The C and lower-case R have not enough space on the right. (Cl looks like backwards D, 2 lower-case R's next to each other nearly connect, etc.). Even on the Adobe Type sample PDF of this font you can see that the C is always too close to the D compared with all the rest of the letter spacing. Is there a way to get access to a font's kerning tables? It would save me so much time if I could make this adjustment just once for all eternity.
if you open a font menu when you have some text selected, the current font will be selected in the recent fonts part of the menu at the top. So you have to scroll back down to see it in the context of all your other fonts. This is so so so annoying if you want to brows through a long list of fonts, when you yet don't know which one you want to apply. or just look through and test different fonts. How do i get the font list to be like before and start from the place where the font is listed and not from the top.?In indesign you can set number of recent fonts view to 0 but not in illustrator, så it will always start at the top.
Hi!I have the font 'open sans' installed via Creative Cloud. But in the Creative Cloud font dashboard, I see there are problems with some of the weights. (light, italic, bold, bold italic)If I go online to Creative Cloud, I see the entire family is activated. In XD, the file I'm working on is missing some of the weights (bold, italic, regular, semibold) So no logic there. In XD also the choice I have in the font menu is only regular, light italic, semibold (italic) and extrabold (italic). So no logic there either. Can anybody help? Thanks!
I often want to ask what people what they think about font pairs. Are there any groups here, where the members focus primarily on font pairings? Like, for example, whether or not Bruna and Baskerville work together to create the desired mood? etc.…WHERE can one find those Discussions?
Hello. I'm using Photoshop Elements to create background graphics and sprites for a simple 2D game and some of them contain text (signs, book titles, descriptions etc). So I was wondering if the fonts that come with photoshop are free to use in this way. Or is a license required? Thanks for any help
Hi everyone,Could anyone tell me what font is used in the image?I tried to match it on several font markets to find it but without success. It looks similar to the Myriad family, but the "t" and numbers are quite different.Hopefully one of you has keen eyes to tell me the answer, thank you so much!
I've tried all the font finder tools (what the font, identifont, adobe font, etc.) with no luck. Maybe someone in this community knows what typeface this is. I attached lowercase and uppercase samples. Thanks in advance!
I installed this font and uploaded it to the cloud. Is it now only available on my account, or did I upload the font and now look like the creator? Sounds a bit odd, but I just can’t find any information on it.
Dear Community,we use the typeface Proxima Nova Semibold for one of our clients. Unfortunately the font renders bad at smaller font-sizes (18px) Please take a look at the attached Image. We bought the font at MyFonts.com. At the Adobe Font Section the typeface is rendered nicely. https://adobe.ly/2wCXt9kIs there a way to optimize the font that it renders much smoother in small sizes? If there is no way, can you prefer a very close Alternative with a very good legibility? Thanks a lot for your help.Best Regards,Andi
Can anyone tell me the name of this font? Thanks.
After a small discussion in a seperate thread, it was apparent that there may be a need for a list of places where you can get free fonts. Please contribute information that would help the community. It could be advice on where to get good free fonts or even advice on places that should be avoided because of bad quality fonts, etc. Also, feel free to suggest some places that may have inexpensive paid fonts that are high quality as well.Obviously, avoid suggesting pirated fonts or where to get them. Keep this discussion "legit".
