I'm having trouble updating flash and dreamweaver to 11.0.1. It always says install failed. I did move all my abobe applications into 1 folder in applications. The other updates went through but these won't. What should i do?

Yesterday I had one thread where the OP replyed with blank boxes.  I would reply that there is nothing in the box and he would reply with another blank box, like 3 times.   Finally he just said he was posting wrong.What is he doing or not doing that would cause this?

Just a few quick questions: I have a limited list of fonts available in the "Font Family" drop-down in the Adobe Forum editing screens. I count 17 in Google Chrome. Is that abbreviated list set by the JiveWare, by my choice of browser, by some other means?Can that font list be expanded upon?Just curious, as I have several 100 installed fonts (Win XP-Pro), and many are OTF's.TIA,Hunt

I had installed CS5 as trial and installed Camera Raw 6.1 - everything worked fine.Then I bought and registered CS5, uninstalled CS4 and suddenly LR 2.7 didn't find CS5 as an external editor - even after a reboot and there was no apparent way to make it do that.So, I uninstalled CS5 and reinstalled and it showed up in LR 2.7.Now, however, CS5 does not recognize my Canon T2i files as it says the Camera Raw version does not support the file format. It did before i bought and registered in the extended version but when i put the new serial number in and it went from extended the regular version, it stopped being able to read the files.My version in about and plugins is 6.0.0.205 in CS5 nowI have downloaded and attempted to install the camera raw 6.1 updater several times - it says some updates failed to install- update is not applicable.Tech support says that is the newest version.In my trial version, the updater installed, i could read T2i files but now it won't install and i can't read

Is there way to "Auto-Save" the login information for a flash-based site such as Pandora (radio)? On all other non-flash sites this is a complete "no-brainer". If not, why not?  If so, what form, software, methodology is suitable. Thanks,Incurablegeekincurablegeek@yahoo.com

I'm having problems with first, my quotes from Word (or like from an email, copied and pasted) are coming in as straight quotes and second, when I go to make a pdf, the "curly" quotes are not even showing up. I am new to CS4 and never had this problem in earlier versions. Everything is at the default setting. Please help, thanks!

I'm trying to get PHP working. I've set up PHP and Apache for Windows on an earlier computer without problem; DW was not involved. I've also set up websites without PHP using Dreamweaver CS3 w/o problems. But I'm having problems with CS5. even though I've carefully followed instructions, tutorials and videos re. setting up a site on Windows so I can program PHP pages. The php editor seems to be working, even though it is flagging errors on some code which I know is good PHP code.I can't get the site definition right to save my life. I used Wampserver and I found the phpinfo page, so I know that's working.The server is on.  I realize Dreamweaver has to know where the apache server is, and I point it to htdocs, which is buried deeply within the wamps directory. I did not make any changes to the apache or php ini files, since I was not directed to do so in the installation instructions.I can't navigate, in the browser, using localhost. Hi all,I ran out of idea's. I'm getting 8,000 to 10,000 emails aday from adobe. I've tryed to connect them and they are looking into it. It's been six days now and they keep closing the case number. I've contacted my webmail supplier and they are just as bad. It's it my business address and this is down to buying CS5 Update!!!! Please sort it out Adobe!!!Jenny

My picture was approved and shows in my profile but it does not show when I reply or start a discussion. What do I need to do to make it show?

So I want to install TweetDeck. OK, no problem, just go to the website and click download.TweetDeck requires Adobe Air.  Sigh, whatever.Tweetdeck.com requires that I install Flash to get to the link to install Air to get to the link to install TweetDeck.Adobe is evil. That is all.

I just tried the first time to use the forum editor with an iPad (for some private message, if that matters).It would not show an insertion point caret or accept any typing in preview mode.After switching to html mode it at least took some text, but still was missing the caret and did not respond to the cursor placing gestures.Could you eventually add a plain text entry box as last resort?Dirk

Due to the WYSIWYG editor, it's not possible to use an iPad to reply to any forum content. The pages load fine and reading on the iPad works well, but the reply window with all its buttons and wysiwyg items won't allow input.

In the PSE forum I select preferences an select stop notification but it does not stop. Is there some other solution?

I accidentally wound up with my email address as my screen name. I went to edit my profile, but changing the screen name isn't allowed. I tried creating a new profile with a new screen name but it won't let me use my email address. I created the new profile using a different email address (one I keep for junk like this, so I don't check it and therefore, isn't what I want to use for this). I also don't see a way to delete a registration. If I could delete my other profile, I could then just recreate it with the new screen name. How do I fix this since your site isn't properly programmed to allow me to fix this?

hi people. in the final version of the Adobe suite CS5 is set to button Alt call menu tools. It bothers me terribly because I zoomed in Alt + scroll, and then the interrupt in the course of work. dose it was possible to turn off the shortcut for all adobe programs?ThanksMilutin

Can someone please fix my account again?My earlier posts have been changed to JETalmage-HJ6L6A. My correct account name is JETalmage.I have tried the proscribed re-login "fix" to no avail. I am now, as instructed, posting a request for it to be fixed here.Also: It seems that when these unwanted account "splits" occur, the settings default to turning on all email notifications. I don't want email notifications on any threads. (I also don't want PMs, but this poorly designed forum seems to not provide a means for disallowing those. On Feb 22, 2010, File Attachments were disabled... with the caveat that it was temporary. That 'Temporarily' now seems to be a joke... at whose expense i wonder...Because, today, many moons and even more suns later ( i refuse to count), it still remains disabled...
