I've just noticed not many questions being marked 'answered' in the ID forum so I counted - only 8 out of the first 60. Not sure if a similar situation applies in other forums (I'm not quite sad enough to count them all), but I just wonder if people don't understand the system, don't like it, or aren't getting decent answers.Anyone notice anything similar?

CSS error message in Dreamweaver CS4

I have an message that says"Found 1 errors in tinaswebsite.css" and "Affects: Firefox 1.5, 2.0, 3.0; Internet Explorer 6.0, 7.0, 8.0b1; Internet Explorer for Macintosh 5.2; Opera 8.0, 9.0; Safari 2.0, 3.0." How do I know what the error is and how do I fix it?

how do I install just Dreamweaver from CS3

I have recently purchased a Toshiba mini-laptop which has a screen resolution of 1024x600. The minimum resolution for CS3 (which I purchased a while ago and have on my desktop) is 1024x768.  When I try to install it on my laptop, the installation stops since the minimum resolution is inadequate (i guess for Photoshop and the other graphic programs included in CS). I onlly want to install Dreamweaver.  Please advise. Thanks.

[Locked] Centering an oversized web page in dreamweaver

Verification Codes for forms

Hi allAm new to this forum so I hope I'm posting correctly.I have designed a website for my local choir and it seems to work pretty well, however I decided to create a "submit" form for the website for ease of enquiries.  Subsequently I thought I should use some form of verification code to ensure that users completing the form are genuine.I found some coding and inserted it, but don't believe I've done it correctly and would really appreciate some help.Is there anyone there who would be prepared to look at my webpage and give some advice at all? Need help figuring out adobe 9 professional, cannot draw lines on or close together without selecting previous line as an object......

Hello, I am a big user of adobe 6 professional for years.  It was great for marking up maps.  I just upgraded adobe 9 professional and I am having a big issue when drawing on maps.  In version 6 you could draw lines on top of each other and very close just click click click and more lines anywhere I needed. With version 9 I am not able to draw a line and then draw one really close to it or on the end of it or on top it without the arrow or crosshairs selecting the original line.....  I can not draw lines end to end and connect them....  not being able to freely draw lines makes using this software difficult and even useless....  need to be able to draw freely to properly prepare the maps.  I need to be able to draw lines of different color and width close to each other of even on top of each other and end to end to create the designs I am making.Very dissappointed I upgraded...Any advice on what I might be doing wrong would really help me and basicall

So, I clicked on 'last post' on some topic in here, and found myself logged out. Having only logged in about 5 minutes earlier. Hey ho. But that's not all, I was staring at a screen that told me I was in a forum called 'Blueprint'. Never heard of that before.Anyway, I clicked Log In/Register and without being taken to the log-in screen or doing anything else, I was logged back in. But I was still in the Blueprint forum.No wonder lost souls turn up.

How Do I Float Text Over a Generic Header Image Dynamically

Is there a way to float or write text over a header or banner image dynamically? For example, If I click on a link in my menu, can I have the title of my page automatically inserted into or over my header image automatically for every page in my site? Because currently I have to create a new Image for every page where I have to add the page name to the photo and then save it with text "stuck" on that photo. Hope this makes sense.Thanks,Allan

Issues - please help

I accidently started drawing on 'background' layer in photoshop (I usually make a second layer), during which I was able to erase lines without erasing the white background, but I accidently changed it to 'layer 0' and when I erased my lines, I would erase the white background as well. Is there a way to change the layer 0 back to 'backgrund layer' or somehow take the lines I drew and move them to another layer?help would be appreciated, thanks

I am new to web page design and Dreamweaver so my question might seem a bit simplistic. My problem is with the new web pages I have designed. Specifically with how they load. I have to sit and watch as each element is essentially built into the page whenever I go to a new page. Is there a command that will leave the browser on the current page until the new page is completely ready to display? Thanks for your help

I just got a call from a Jive technician (who was given my number by John). They're working on speed improvements it seems. We spent about 10 minutes (he managed to get to see my screen on his computer. He also asked me to install Firebug). The main point I made was that logging in every day is unnecessary and very slow. Also, I mentioned that a quick reply box would speed things up a lot. The actual speed of going from one forum to another and opening threads is okay. Average. He took note of all the points...FYI.Ariel

Robohelp 7 Topic Page Won't Open

I have created a project in Robohelp 7 and I am able to see it however I am unable to open any of the topics.  The table of contents does expand when I open books but the pages within them do not.  I simply go on the  TOC and select any topic page and nothing happens.  Can anyone help me or suggest how I can resolve this issue.

Is it even possible to activate products anymore???

Reinstalled Dreamweaver on my computer last week, went through activation process and it said that my serial number was already activated once so I needed to call to re-register the product and get an activation code. Was transferred twice after calling customer service line, finally got to activations and sat on hold for two and a half hours before finally hanging up last Friday. Called again today to try to register went through the same process, transferred twice, got to activations, been sitting on hold for over three hours. Who has time for this????? Worst customer service of any software product our company owns!

Hello there. I opened this discussion because mainly, i need answers.I once bought Adobe CS4 and downloaded it but after downloading it, i found out that its license have expired according to a pop-up box that popped out when i click to try the Adobe Photoshop.It happened to all the other products there and i really wonder why.I recently downloaded one of the trials and entered a serial number that has an expired license and then i immediately uninstalled it, after that i installed the one that i bought but that pop-up box still showed up again.I really want to use the Adobe CS4 but i don't know why this is happening to my computer.It works in other computers.Do help me solve this problem. Im really at a loss. ThanksNelle.
