Hey guys! I need to ask a question about GPUs for Premiere Pro. As you know the GPU market now is in a very bad state and prices are inflated ridiculously.I'm trying to buy a GPU now and my question is, how much GPU power do we really need for Premiere Pro? Is there a line where it comes to the point where buying a better GPU will make no difference in performance?And what is this line? As in, what GPU card specifically would someone need before they are wasting their money paying more for power that doesn't make any difference in performance.The list is long from GTX 1070 to crazy RTX 3090 Ti to quadro cards in the thousands. If I got something at the bottom of the Adobe recommend list and something at the top am I really going to notice any difference? Your advice and recommendations are appreciated. I hope my question makes sense. What's the sweet spot for the typical video editor? Thanks so much, Mark

Hello i have just setup a new pcI have installed os and apps on 1tb nvme driveAnd i thought it could be enough for app , and cache all togetherAt the momenti i have a 6tb data hard disk where i put all my storage, adone project folder alsoIn my idea when i have to work at a project i would m ove the folder to the nvme till i finish then i put it back on the 6tb hard diskDo you think could be a good solution?I have 2 256 spare ssd drive, that i might use in case it is better to separate cahce disk from app diskO course i know that it is always been said that to separate all is better, but with these fast nvme disk ...is it still so important to separate?And if it is how much is the benefit?thanks

Question: Will Adobe Premiere work if I purchase an Intel integrated graphics chipset UHD model?I am currently trying to upgrade my desktop because Premiere told me that my current CPU (Intel Core i7-4790k @4 GHz with Graphic HD 46000) is not supported when opening the product.As I am researching all of the Intel CPU chips, I can get either a gen 10 or 11 BUT all of the chips that have the integrated graphics chipset recommendations for Premiere are NOT for purchase to the public. The only integrated graphics chipset that is available is a UHD.PS: If you know where I can find the correct Intel chipset, that would be great.

Will there be support for rtx 3060? Hardware decoding averages 6% (CBR),(CUDA). My GPU is not used. I have the latest Nvidia studio driver. Do you know anyone solved please?

Is it advisable to have external hard drive for video editing? I am asking this because eventhough you change the computer external hard drive can use with any computer. So that without any histation you can spend more money on external HD

Não é para editar filmes grandes, mas vídeos curtos, sem muito efeito, coisa simples. Por que o PC trava? A memória não é suficiente? Preciso de algum componente específico? As I work mostly with Adobe Creative Suite and Premiere Pro, I'd like to buy a new computer but there are so many options. 1. cpu with many cores(Min. 8 or so)2. powerful graphics card3. much ram (32gb or more)4. fast hard disks (m.2 Ssd) Can you give me an advise?

I was curious if anyone else has had this happen to them...it's the first time I've seen anything like it. It's a new computer so I'm not sure if its even an adobe issue. Ich habe eine Frage bezüglich der CPU Auslastung von Premiere Pro. die meiste Zeit bin ich Premiere pro Benutze, zb. Einen Rendervorgang starte oder etwas exportiere liegt die CPU Auslastung meines starken Macs bei maximal 20% 80-85% der CPU Leistung ist inaktiv und nicht genutzt. die Performance von Final Cut Pro ist da deutlich stärker. Dort liegt die CPU Auslastung bei 75-85%  kann mir da bitte jemand weiterhelfen denn ich möchte Premiere gerne weiter nutzen aber es ist schade zu sehen das die Performance nicht genutzt wird. lg jo

Hey Guys, Can anyone recommend a really good display to use primarily for PS? My iMac 27" just died and I quickly replaced it with a Mac Mini M1 for now and need a monitor quickly. I'm looking for a 32" 4K (16:9) IPS,  good connectivity HDMI, USB-C, with a good stand, tilt n swivel, up down  etc.  What other if any specs should I be considering? My budget is anywhere up to around $1K or so.   I just started looking, reading reviews and watching You Tube.  One was recommended by B&H; the ASUS 32" Pro Art ASPA329C  $1095 also with Adobe RGB but received some very negative reviews on amazon. One was problems with calibration and the other dead pixels.  Another option was the LG 32UN880 Ergo. Your input is most appreciated.  If this was already recently addressed I apologize for the redundancy. Thanks,Howard 

Hello,Since working on a 4K monitor, After Effects UI is very slow and although the preview is fully cached to RAM, it does not play in real time.I've read about a workaround for this issue, which also works for me: overwriting high dpi scale by the system. When using this option, it runs smooth and fast.But it makes the UI blurry and that's why I am looking for a better solution.The not real-time RAM preview issue is solved by choosing the "Full Screen" preview option. I'm looking to buy a new laptop for use with creative cloud apps, in particular premiere pro, after effects, photoshop etc. Is the Intel Iris XE integrated graphics good enough for this? I didn't see it listed in the list of compatible graphics cards for premiere pro. There many recommended GC for Premiere Pro. I assume “recommended” mean it is good to have such GC. Computers come with built in GC. Therefore it is good to confirm particular built in GC is not good for Premiere Pro.     What are the affects you can see if GC is not good?  

Hello. I'm currently hunting for a new laptop for a good while now. I also video editing, and would like to ask here, is there someone here use adobe while also gaming on your laptop? I would like your help for laptop recommendations. What I'm doing is:- Drawing- Video editing- Gaming You can also tell me what you're currently using that's also good. 😉 I love it if it's cheaper, but u can recommend anything. (Also is there a genshin player here? Then what's your brand & experience playing on it?) 

I currently have a MacBook Air M1 8 GB & it's barely getting me by for editing 4K Sony a7siii footage. I'm wondering based on people's experience what the best system & specs are for efficient, and stress free editing? Do I just need better specs & stick with M1? Or move toward pc? thanks in advance!

Hi all, I'm looking into purchasing the latest MacBook Pro for video editing purposes. I'm choosing a laptop over a desktop so that I can edit on the go, although most of my editing will likely take place in my home office. I plan on connecting my 34" curved monitor to the laptop and using that for timeline editing, while using the laptop screen for previews only. The problem is the keyboard; I'd like to have one right in front of my larger editing monitor, but I don't want to have to put the whole laptop in front of that screen just so I can easily access the keyboard.  So my question is, is it possible to attach a second, standalone keyboard to a MacBook? If yes, is said keyboard purchased from Apple only?

I want to uninstall and reinstall my mac operating software and all my adobe apps onto an ssd. My first question is will this affect any current projects I am working on in Premiere pro? And my second question is which SSD is best for handling these tasks? 

With the video rendering and playback option there are no choices, area is greyed out."Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (CUDA)" or "Mercury Playback Engine Software Only" or "software only" option - there are no choices. I am unable to update my card's drivers, NVidia Quadro 2000. Nvida has no support on the card installed - in the HP Z800 Workstation. The installed graphic card work in the Z800 however the graphic card will not work with Adobe CC 2021. The graphic cards recommended by HP, on their HP Z800 site, are graphic cards that work with the motherboard that came with the machine. That the newer graphic cards will not work in the HP Z800 because of the newer technology.  What graphic cards will work with Adobe CC 2021 and HP Z800 running Windows 10 64 Bit? I would sincerely appreciate a reference to a list of graphic cards that will work in this HP computer - so that I can render and playback using a graphic card that is supported by both CC 2021

Hi guys...I'm running a 1-year-old Dell Precision desktop with 32GB ram, an Nvidia Quadro RTX 4000 graphics card with 24GB ram, I9 cpu, and 2 8TB HDs each about 15% used.If I had $200-$300 hanging around, what could I upgrade that would give me the biggest performance improvement with PremierPro 2022? The performance processing multicam 4K videos is killing me RAM?2TB internal SSD?Other? Thanks
