I have to be honest. I was VERY underwhelmed by this release. I spend at least half my year editing solely on the phone (I'm hiking with no computer, just phone). While the app's design is pleasant and speedy, it should have had at least parity with Rush. Transitions, effects, keyframes, at least. How many of these missing, and arguably basic, features will be locked behind the paid premium tier? If you would finally step up and geniunely compete with Lumafusion, then it would be worth paying for premium tier. I'm not sure why you released without setting proper expectations. Mod note: TItle was added. Post was branched and moved here.
Now before all the Adobe moderators come after me for this comment, just listen. Now, I know that Rush is going away in October. But what is going to replace it? I have a laundry list of issues I had with Rush, but I don't want to bore the Adobe community with my ideas and issues. I have tried numerous times to create a video in Rush and upload it directly to my YouTube channel, and each time it has failed. Why does this keep happening? Then I have to save it to my photos on my iPhone and try to upload it to my YouTube channel. However, each time I return to my computer, the video fails to upload. It just CONTINUALLY states, "Video is processing." I uploaded this video last Tuesday, and it is STILL processing? Something feels very SUS.The crazy part is when I shared it to TikTok directly from Rush, it uploaded in less than a minute. So it appears TikTok is more advanced than Adobe? I mean the video is almost 7
It figures. Despite repeated attempts by paying customers saying over and over again that there is a need to be able to record legacy analog and digital formats, Adobe is abandoning a large number of people who need and use this feature. Even to the point of taking away an old version of the Premiere Pro app (2023) that allowed us to do this work. the same thing happened with Encore a number of years ago. I feel totally betrayed by Adobe. A large number of of video creators do not matter to Adobe at all. Message recieved lound and clear. I am actively looking for alternatives to Adobe. I replaced PhotoShop with Affinity a few years ago - even though learning a new app set me back in my work. Worth it. It beats getting screwed and betrayed any time...
We just got a real kick in the head - Digital Juice has shut down with no warning whatsoever. We were a lifetime member. Now we have no source of video elements such as lower third graphic backgrounds, wipes, and other effects.I'd love to hear about other options. It looks like the templates on Adobe Stock are pretty limited.
At this point, something has to happen with this app! Anyone know? It would be great if they just knocked off Capcut. CapCut is everything Adobe should be looking to replicate after introducing Adobe Express (which is essentially just a weaker Canva. ) Mod notes: Moved to the Video Lounge. The title was changed from all caps. Please avoid doing that in the future.
This is a real plyer icon. But you cannot see this icon when you import this video into PPr. How is it possible? Is there any way in PPr to get rid of this icon?
Well we are now comparing free software to a yearly subscription that's in the hundreds of dollars. That being said, Davinci Resolve does support .mkv files natively and has since version 17. Seems like Premiere is going backwards. As for Prores support, you can use the ffmpeg workaround to get the export in Resolve on Windows. For the cost of Davinci (free), I'm ok with that. Mod note: off-topic conversation branched to the video lounge.
Looking for the best media player for Windows that supports alpha channels. VLC will play .mov files with alpha but the colors are distorted. VLC won't play video of .MXF files, just audio. Thanks in advance.
I am trying to figure out if there is any way to create a template and then produce around 1000s of videos out of that either in premier PRO, ae OR PHOTOSHOP/
Is this an update? The only functionality is to create a new project file that is not compatible with the previous version just to screw the user, since there is nothing in the implementation that justifies this. Have you seen what a davince resolve update looks like? It has fast masks, a scene stabilizer that works on slow clips, an audio filter FOR REMIXING MUSIC. adobe: we have a new skin.
I have been editing for 30 years.I have been editing on Premiere for 12 years. The subscription is not good value for money. In fact its a rip off.We are not getting the developments that £45 a flipping month buys.I am going to work out some way not to give Adobe my money any more.Too much. They ripped us off.
Hi, last update from Adobe to Rush was in 2021. No features has been added. But the sync feature has been terminated. I'm wondering if Rush will suffer a silent death by Adobe. Or by engulfed by Adobe Express. I'm starting to look around for similar apps with similar simplicity that is working both on a Mac and PC environment. What do U think? Has Rush become a burning platform?
Thanks! And why does a free software like Handbrake help us fix severe footage problems yet an expensive SUBSCRIPTION to Adobe cannot fix the problem? /2
How dare you not even give us the option to export the project files or sync with our iCloud accounts?! You've destroyed what used to be a great app! I used to start a peoject on my phone and thrn continue it on Pro on my desktop. But now this app is a total joke. And so from now on we have to permanently see a 'no network' error until you guys eventually get round to killing the app? That message doesn't even behave like a feature - you've created a giant bug. This is what is wrong with Adobe. I am so very glad you weren't able to buy Figma. Greedy, incompetent corporates. Mod note: Your post was branched and moved to the Video Lounge for off-topic discussion.
Chatting with an agent to help me. They did fine. At the end they hit me with a sales pitch to use Adobe A.I. to create my videos faster. Is it just me or does this rub y'all the wrong way too? I need help, but I get sales pitched during that process? Bleh. Beyond that, are we now in a serious dichotomy of the marketplace? Content regurgitators vs. actual creatives? Adobe seems to be chasing the latter. Honestly, why wouldn't they? To exploit the economy of scale, you go down not up. Business wise it makes sense, but... Actual imaging creatives have built the a visual vocabulary and foundation over the past century in motion pictures, and now A.I. (unethically?) yanks from that database and transfers it to people that are not creatives, but are certainly satisfied with hasty derivatives. "Oh, it's just a tool!" Yeah. It's also a lot more than that too, ain't it? All this to say that this kind of A.I. stuff, along
I launched the new version of Premiere Pro to find a quote "Learn Premiere Pro wih Adobe Certified Instructors" and see a photo of a girl with her blouse undone from the deck down to the bottom of the photo shown here.. Is this the "new" ways of doing things?
dear community!I’m on the lookout for a drawing tool for a live performance. I’d love to be able to draw a simple sketch with my graphics tablet, reacting to a live performance. I know, that After Effects might not be the right platform, but perhaps you have an idea what could be the right app.I want the drawn line to fade. Suppose I were to draw a spiral, then this spiral would dissolve again starting from the centre when I reach the outer circles... I’d like to be able to regulate after which time my drawn line starts to disappear, already after 1 second or only after 10 minutes… So I guess, what I am looking for is a kind of reverse function for the drawing process.Does anyone have any ideas?I’d be over the moon if you did!Cheers!
The meaning for Mask in Cambridge dictionary is FACE COVER. But in Pr if a shape or text is in a mask only it is visible. Why is it called Mask?
I rarely write any comments but this new bad update made me that angry! I have 3 main things to say here. First of all, the interface is a fully worse now. Why should I have to unwrap every setting with a clip like motion, scale, opacity - everything separately. Why the hell is it close by default?? And with every new added clip I have to unwrap everythin all over again! The second is optimization. This is the worst. With previous version I could place sequence marker anywhere and the the preview image would change instantly regardless how fast I do this. Not it doesn't change at all so to select any moment fom the video I have to place it then play the video for the new frame to load on the preview screen, then pause and do all over eagain, every time to select a frame! This totally kills the speed of work. And the last is about bugs. It didn't even ask me to confirm the update. I have auto update disable and for previous week it was asking me if I wan
This is a gripe about too many bugs not a question. I am fed up with the bugs in Premiere. It is so bugged that I have to quit and resart over 3 times an hour due to screen panes going to white when I resize, or change the workspace or even open a project. I typically quit and restart for every project start or reopening. It's terrible software. In the last six months I've been on the phone with support dozens of times for hours. Theyare very nice and seem to get things fixed but the problems return. Today was my last straw. The popup window at the start of Lightroom, Photoshop, and Premiere has pissed me off.The box, "Expand your toolkit with Creative Cloud All Apps" that has a box for "Do not show again" is BS. It always pops up. And as a twist of the knife in the back if I go to "Upgrade now" it says "Error: Plan unavailable". Even the popup is buggy. I have downloaded two other video editors and will spend all day tomorrow studying them and going through tutorials.
Since Arabic transcription isn’t supported in Premiere Pro, I’ve been manually creating captions using other apps and then importing SRT files. This works, but it’s an extra step I’d love to avoid now. I’m thinking of trying a plugin that can generate Arabic captions directly inside Premiere to streamline my workflow. If anyone here has experience with third-party tools for Arabic transcription, I’d love to hear your recommendations. Which ones work well in Arabic with minimal errors? Any insights would be really helpful!
Another good reason to leave from adobe
Send this by snail mail / FedEx, etc. to the CEO and VP of Products at AdobeNeed to elevate this "out of band" to get any attention. Also suggest contacting your favorite press and media that write aboutAdobe. Nothing in the press at all about this.I bet some bad press / pr will suddenly elicit some public statements fromexecutives, not in-the-trenches product people that seem to not care?
Wow what a great piece of software, where you cant render orginal lightning in a video without reading for two days on the internet to find a solluion. Mod note: Response was branched and moved. The title was changed.
I'm 42 and quadriplegic. I did editing on Final Cut Pro 4.5, and want to get back into it. I earn a living through disability, but will have to discontinue it once my work status changes. I don't want to turn that off until I'm sure I can replace that income. I have nonlinear editing experience and lots of time to learn. I have no plans to profit at moment, and when doing work for anyone (even free) I'll be giving Adobe their monthly sub. I'm to old to qualify for a student discount, and $30 a month is bit much not knowing when be able to turn a profit. Is there any way I can affordability and patiently learn the software?
