In the latest update for the Mac version of Acrobat (23.08.20555) scroll bars have been mostly restored, but they still do not appear for multi-page documents. When I open a multi-page pdf there is still no visual indication that there is more than one page except by looking at the page number in the tool bar, nor does it quickly show what location you are in a pdf without the vertical scroll bars.
Hello All Is there any REST API end-point nor a SDK that I can leverage to embed a Watermark in a PDF. I'm surprised that there are several 3rd party companies that can do this, however Adobe doesn't have a solution. Appreciate if anyone in this forum can point me in the right direction. Bom dia, Quando vou assinar com o certificado digital algum documento, na primeira vez o Reader pede a senha do ceertificado e ok. Quando vou assinar uma segunda vez depois de ter fechado o programa, ele lê o certificado, eu seleciono o certificado, seleciono local à ser gravado com o novo nome de arquivo, dou ok. Ele então não pede a senha do certificado e trava. Para conseguir assinar eu tenho que desinstalar o programa e instalar novamente. Alguém sabe como corrigir?

I observe a strange text extraction behavior in Acrobat Reader for the specific documents. The documents are tagged so generally all paragraph text lines are extracted as a single line. But in some cases the paragpraph text is extracted with line feed. Some experiments shows that it may be related to a presence of a form XObject inside an artifact content.Is it a but in Acrobat Reder? Or am I missing something?
I have a user that is getting the following error: Before you can perform print-related tasks such as page setup or printing a document, you need to install a printer. This is only happening when they are attempting to open a PDF that is attached to an email or when they click the quick print option in Outlook. If they save the PDF to their desktop they are able to open and print the document without issue. I have seen others having this issue and the resolution was to change the default printer in Windows and then change it back. This did not resolve the issue. I have removed and reinstalled both Acrobat Reader DC and Office as well and that didn't resolve the issue.
Hi Support, using ADOBE ACROBAT DCpdf files are printing inverted colors. text is white and background is black.already checked on negative setting under print advanced and is not enabled.accessibility document color options - replace document colors is not enabled and tried revering it manually, no change.printer preview displays white background and black text.repaired and updated the whole adobe dc software - no change on print results.no issues printing from other software/sources.how can we fix this?
HiMy Adobe Acrobat Reader recently updated (19.008.20071) and has this absurd new setting that automatically opens a pop up note when I highlight something in the text.I tried to uncheck the "Automatically open comment pop-ups for comments other than notes" box and it DOES NOT WORK even after restarting computer.I tried to repair the program and not worked even after restarting computer.The same is happening for underline and other tools that I use frequently.The only solution that I already have is to use highlight as a quick tool, not in comment tool bar. Then this annoying pop ups just don't show up. But THIS IS FAR NOT an appropriate or final solution.Moreover, there were also some new bugs when highlighting. Some ghosts images appeared and didn't went way when the screen updated.That is so pathetic that I can't imagine how can someone that programmed this could put a pop up as default. Hi. I need to sing documents in adobe reader with my certyficate. So every dokument I sign, every time I have to click on "TOOLS" then klick on "CERTIFICATES" and then I have toolbar with 3 icons. Then I click icon "digital sign" and finally i can make a rectangle in document and put the sing.IS there any way to attach the toolbar with "digital sign" permanently or a keyboard shortcut to this tool? Please help.
I created a form in Excel, converted it to PDF, and then made a fillable/interactive form. Once completed, I tested the document to ensure that I was able to insert text and check all of the checkboxes, and it worked perfectly. I then emailed the form to myself to check that it was going to work when I sent it to clients, however, I was unable to check only some of the checkboxes. I could insert text in relevant fields. I have checked all the troubleshooting tips but am at a loss to figure out why this is happening 'only' after sending it as an attachment to an email. Any thoughts or suggestions on why this might be happening would be greatly appreciated.
So I have a text box that has a default value displayed and I have made the font grey, so that when it is printed, you can write over the top of the default value easily to fill it in by hand. Aside from being a printable form to be filled in by hand, I also want to be able to fill in the form electronically, however, when I type into the text box and the default value disappears (I have used a JavaScript format for that, see below) the text that is typed into the box is still grey, I want the text to turn black when I begin typing into the field. How can I do this? I'm thinking probably an addition to the JavaScript, but my grasp of it is very limited. The JavaScript format I have used is: if (event.value == "") { event.target.display = display.visible; event.value = 'DDMMYY'; }
We have various pdf reports at work that I need to digitally sign. To clarify, there is not a signature field; I go to use certificate > digitally sign and select an area to sign. However, quite often, the signature does not show up on the document the first time. It goes through the signing process and saves, but the signature does not appear and I have to repeat the process. Does anyone know why this happens, and if it can be fixed?
Hello all,Today, for the first time, I was required to enter an "Adobe code" and also provide my Adobe credentials just to use Reader. This is not an app I purchased; nor have I purchased/licensed any optional features. It's not particularly convenient to have to sign in each time I use Reader.
Hi there, I have a weird problem. Whenever I try to print PDF's from a particular company, they only print half the line, for the entire document, making it very hard to read. Every single line only prints the top half of the words.I am having no problems printing anything else, so it is not my printer. I have even tried printing from another computer, and this still happens. It is only happening when I try printing from Acrobat Reader. Hope somebody can help me please.

Hello, I have an issue with the Fill & Sign feature in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2019.010.20098 installed OS Windows 10 Home - 64-bit 32GB RAM - all updates installed. When placing a text box, I cannot manually resize the box, nor can I drag it. Once I place the text box, its stuck. Same goes for the signature box. Once the signature is placed it cannot be resized or moved/dragged. I used to be able to do this, but no more. The only change I can think of is that I have a new monitor which is UHD 3840x2160 resolution with 150% text scaling. I have been searching the internet and the forum for a similar problem but have not been able to resolve it. Any help or tips would be deeply appreciated. Thanks

Hello everyone,I re-post this message because I've found a way to detect that a file as been modified . I found that any modification may corrupted the cross reference table & it's easily detect with "bycepdfdata" , a software that shows metadata.... But I don't know if it do detect a file modified with acrobatpro ? Your opinion ?Thank you
Today I tried to use the print multiple feature and it no longer works, (it worked previously). It only prints one image per sheet although it does move the image around on the page when I choose more or less per page.I have updated my printer drivers and firmware. Still no luck. The last post on this was from 2017, so I'm guessing the latest version of Adobe Reader is quite different. When I open Reader, I almost always want to disable scrolling, and zoom to page level. But the defaults are the exact opposite. This is especially tiresome when I have to look over a dozen invoices and have to make these two setting changes on each tab. Is there a way to make Reader keep the two settings I want?
