has anyone come across the double or tripling of field information when you go between desktop Adobe Reader to browser-based Adobe Reader extension while also using the Google Drive app on an iPad or iPhone?

Can anyone please answer the short-cut either one-key or combination of keys for "Take a Snapshot" tool for Adobe Reader DC?Cheers

When i open up adobe acrobat reader, and i have the remember check on, it unfolds the tools and the notes tab. really anoying. see pictures ↓↓    what i want is to open a .pdf file and see its contents. and if i have to see the notes/ which page im on, or want to modify with the tools. then i want to click on the menu and it opens up on me. now i am forced to close them down first !! every time!!!!!    seems unneeded and bugs me out ALOT!!   if this is a repost of the same kind, i'm sorry, but i could not find this topic as i only find, checking the box in preferences.   if there is a solution, i would love to hear it, with kind regards, Martin positive opening up the program:   negative opening op the program:

I couldn't make Adobe Acrobat Reader use my Nvidia (GeForce 930MX).. I don't get it, I tried "run with graphic processor" but still ... I have tried numerous times to install Adobe 9.3.3 on my windows 7 machine, but it will not.  Here is what I have doneThrough Firefox - installed the plugin (had to do it manually because it would not recognize the application that needed to open the xpi plugin)let the installation run until completion and clicked the green completion buttontried to open a pdf, but it could not find the application needed. I went to program files, and it was not completely installed.i tried to download the read exe and run it manually.  Again, it looked like it was completed, but would not open pdfsI tried all of this through IE, with the same resultsI tried to uninstall all the Adobe products I could find, including flash, but this did not helpI rebooted multiple times throughout this process, but that did not help.Why won't Adobe install on my computer?

I cannot open any existing PDF documents with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. I can navigate to the location where the executable file is stored (C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat), but when I attemt to launch it I get an error: Windows cannot find C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\Acrobat.exe. If I attempt to open a PDF document directly by double clicking the file, I get a similar error that it cannot find the document file. I have loaded the browser based version of Acrobat, but documents will not automatically open in that version and I find it difficult to use. I can open PDF files in Microsoft Edge, but my ability to fill in and sign files is not available via the browser plugin. I have tried multiple times to uninstall/reinstall the Reader app, but it will still not launch.

With documents I download from a particular site (Thames Water bills, to be specific), and only those documents, I have the following issue: I can view the documents, print them or save them as text, but if I try to save them as PDF I get the error "The document could not be saved. There was a problem reading this document (109)". This is plainly not accurate, since Acrobat Reader has been able to read the document and even print it. I have run one of the documents through an online validation tool (pdf-online.com) which confirms that the document conforms to the PDF1.6 standard, and my version of Acrobat Reader is 2023.008.20420. The only thing I see which is slightly odd is that, if I save the document as text, there are 11 lines of gibberish (each 17 characters long) in it at about the point where the document contains a QR code (the text is nothing like the information within the QR code). If I print the bill as a PDF (using Microsoft print to PDF) then I get a document that works

Right now I am very frustrated.  I have for several days tried to install Adobe Reader DC.  I did this successfully today and it worked one time then crashed completely and I received an error message that a component was missing.  So I attempted to uninstall the product and got another error message that it could not be installed.  I then resorted for brute force removal.  I suspect there are hidden components and registry entries that haven't been removed and the installer is seeing those as an installed product.OK, so I go to the DC cleaner page and try to find the download for the cleaner...nope, nothing there works or provides me any means of downloading the cleaner to rid myself of this mess and attempt to re-install.Any suggestions?  How do I obtain the cleaner????  I've been all over the Adobe Labs page for same, click the box to accept EULA and then zip, dead no download link.Rockdoc

Since the March 2023 update to Acrobat reader there does not appear to any longer be the abilitiy to custom set (i,e. type in the exact % zoom) that you want to use. I use this feature to custom set the zoom on pdf dress patterns so that I can project them on the fabric to cut them out. I have searched all of the new tabs etc and cannot find the ability to do this. If I am unable to customise the zoom I will need to find an alternative program 😞Any assistance would be appreciated. TIA

Following today's update, my zoom key changed from ctrl+(minus) to ctrl+1 for some reason and I haven't been able to find how to change it back. Is there any way to do so?

I have a recurring and now long-standing (>1 year) probelm where Reader will not allow me to add multiple sticky notes in a file at one time. If I want to add 8 stucky notes to a file I have to close and save the file, then re-open the file and add another stcikey note. Then repeat for every sticky note I want to add. Then today, when I add a stick note the text box pop-up remains open and when I try to close it (using the 'x' in the top-right hand corner of the text box, it deletes the sticky note rather than clsing the text box. So now I effectively can't add a sticky note at all. I've tride repairing the installation and I tried taking the enhanced security off after reading another artcle, but neither of these fixes has solved either of my issues. Anyone ot there had any experience with this or similar issue and/or have any ides on how to solve?

Hi all,I was wondering if you can disable the pop-up messages of Adobe Reader when I hover over a photo in Adobe Reader XI version 11. E.g. the following pop-up messages appear:- A picture containing clock, indoor, black, object Description generated with very high confidence -A close up of a bowlDescription generated with very high confidence - A picture containing indoor, wall, bicycleDescription generated with very high confidence Can you turn this feature off? Most of the time it does not make sense to the content in the picture. Hope someone can help because I am unable to find it on the internet.Thanks,Elias

We work with a vendor that is not using Adobe Acrobat Pro to edit PDF's and add comments. When we get those PDFs, we have no issue opening them in any other program aside from Adobe Acrobat Pro. When we do open it, it produces the following errors: Error: There was an error processint a page. There was a problem reading this document (135). Ctrl + Click "OK": Dictionary keys must be direct name objects. We are able to see every page of the PDF aside from the ones the vendor made comments in. This seems like a bug in Adobe's code.

How do I get this to stop? Every time you open Adobe or a document, this pops up. Is annoying.  

I used to have an 'Auto portrate/landscape' option so when printing documents with pages of both orientation in one page could be portrate and one landscape but both taking the full page. Now I have an 'Auto-rotate pages within each sheet' option which keeps the top of landscape and portrate pages pointing the same way, so one or the other is the wrong orientation on the page. Does anyone know how to get the 'Auto portrate /landscape' option back? Thanks

Hello.When i was press Ctrl+Shift for doing text shortcuts. I accidently press with * or 8 and it deletes every comment i put. i tried ctrl z but nothing happenend. the only way i can restore was close the program as i did not save. i lose my little progress on that. Is there a solution to prevent pressing ctrl+shift+8 or restore comments?thank you.

Danach stürzt Acrobat Reader ab. Hier die Fehlermedlung:  Wenn ich erst Acrobat Reader starte und dann die Datei im Acrobat Reader öffen stürzt das Progarmm nicht ab.Wenn ich eine älter Version (von 12/2024) installiere habe ich auch keine Probleme. Hat jemand eine Lösungsvorschlag oder gibt es einen Patch der das Problem beseitigt?  

Da hat aber jemand programmiert der noch nie mit pdf-plänen arbeiten musst.da Schweben neuerdings irgendwelche bedienknöpfe übers bild.und am schlimmsten: die lupen für rein- und rauszoomen sind irgendwo rechts unten ganz klein in der ecke versteckt. wer bitte denkt sich sowas aus? das stört total den arbeitsfluss, wenn ich den blick abwenden muss um die kleinen knöpfchen zu suchen. die waren früher oben mittig super angebracht. keine ahnung warum man kunden so verärgern muss. 

My  brother MFC L28000W printer has the option to print on both sides, yet on adobe acrobat reader (pic1) and adobe PDF X (pic2) I do not even have the option.Word allows me, yet in PDF not.

When I try to validate my epan through Adobe reader the following error message will show. " the signature is invalid because there are errors in the formatting or information contained in this signature " kindly give proper solution for that.   [Moderator moved the thread to the correct forum]

When I use my Mac on clamshell mode with a separate keyboard and mouse it's fine when I scroll. However, when I use my trackpad the pages blur when I put two fingers on it. Does this have a solution?

I used the pan (hand) tool once, and now I can turn it off or disable it.  How do you turn off or disable the pan (hand) tool?
