Hello all,we have the problen sine the last two updates that all users cannot print PDFs out of Adobe Reader DC on redirected printers on a Terminal Server Farm. This was working perfectly before. The error is "This document cannot be printed" then "An error occured...".If we open the print dialog and click on "Site properties...", click ok and print then it works, but a direct print gives the error reported above.I see that this was a Problem in the past already and that other users in the Forum have this as well.Solved: Re: Cannot print to local printer from remote comp... - Adobe Support Community - 12444181Thx for looking into this.Greetings Timo
I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC to create bookmarks from a Table of Contents. The document will be published to a website in Adobe Reader DC(for users who only have the free version). Will the bookmarks I create with Pro DC work for viewers with Adobe Reader DC? Will hyperlinks created with Pro DC also work in Adobe Reader DC?
Been a user for a while of PDF reader, seen many changesI believe it was Adobe XI that set System Theme, Light Grey, and Dark Grey modes. Now, with DC, all I find is Light Grey and Dark Grey themes. Not an issue. What is an issue is that previous versions of DC allowed a persistent dark mode choosing. Now, when opening DC, light mode is default EVERY TIME I open DC.Trying to find a way to make this persist.Version 2022.002.20191, 64-bit Windows 10 21H2
Hi everyone - I have an agreement that is first prepared in Word and then converted to PDF. I am hoping to use the PDF for the other person to sign. However, when I prepare the form, it is detecting random fields (withn the agreement, at the top of the page, etc in random spots). It does detect the fields I want (name, address, signature, date etc) but I am wondering how to correct the incorrect fields? I have edited the word doc to remove any spaces as I initially thought that was the issue but if there's any other advice or tips I would love to know 🙂
Hello Adobe Community,Does Adobe XI Pro work on Windows Server 2022?And if it works, do i need just one Lizens or different ones for every user?
I keep receiving the following message: Adobe Acrobat Reader could not open 'Image (50).jpg' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded). This is happening on all documents, even those which are not email attachments. Please advise.Kind regards[Title edited for clarity by moderator].
Grand Day!We have a strange issue with the free Adobe Reader DC where one user cannot use the Add Text, Draw or Highlight features available in the free version without it asking for her to sign-up for a subscription. All other users are able to use these features without any subscription at all. All users are on Windows 10, so there's no difference between any of them. How can I enable these features for the one user? Thanks, Will
I'm really pleased with Adobe Acrobat. It's a great product that works fast. Today, I opened a file to extract the pages. The files had 180 pages but when I tried to extract certain parts of the file. The software locked up on me. I had to abort and start over again with the same result. Then I deleted the file and re-downloaded and still had the same result. What causes this? This is the only file I have ever had this problem with so far. I can upload a zipped copy of the file for Adobe to look at but only with response from Adobe employee. Finally system details:1. I'm on a Windows 10 machine with 128GB of RAM2. HiWe're using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC as our primary PDF application and manage the default file type associations using GroupPolicy (as outlined here: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/AdminGuide/pdfviewer.html). This used to work very well in the past, but lately we've noticed that some of our users were loosing this setting and .pdf started to be opening in MS Edge again. After some troubleshooting, I've noticed that the version changed from Adobe Acrobat Reader DC to Adobe Acrobat DC, which means that the ProgID changed and thus, the default file type associations through Group Policy would no longer work (Reader uses the ProgID "AcroExch.Document.DC" while Acrobat is using "Acrobat.Document.DC"). While the application itself shows "Adobe Acrobat Reader DC" in the "about Adobe Acrobat" window, it'll turn up as "Adobe Acrobat DC" in the registry and in the control panel. Everytime this happend, the application was updated prior so I think the updates are c
How do I remove the small window in the top right corner? I've never found it useful and it's mostly in the way, for example when it covers the ctrl+f search function.
So I have all my setting for applications (in windows) changed to where I want Acrobat Reader DC, but the installer still puts it on my C drive (with no option to change installation location). I'd like to have it on my D drive. I am not seeing a setting for doing this. Am I missing something or do I need to learn to deal with it on my C drive? Any help is greatly appreciated.David
I have been onto the online chat and a lady has tried to help me. I am on a Mac running Catalina and all was fine until this morning. I opened a pdf file with acrobat reader and when I try to upload to cloud I get this message "An error occurred while trying to access the service". Under instruction I have downloaded the cleaner and then a new version of the programme but when I open it things are just the same so the lady has referred me to here for help.
Hi, The PDF reader installation is giving me trouble, and I can't seem to locate a solution online. What I have attempted is as follows:I attempted to launch the installation using this URL: https://get.adobe.com/reader/. It said that in order to proceed with the installation, I had to uninstall the previous version. I have uninstalled it, but I went back and verified to make sure. After downloading the Clean up programme, it successfully ran. Please view the attached screenshots for the issues I'm currently getting after trying again.
When document's /PageMode is UseOutlines, the code's name(/AcroForm/Fields/${order}/V/Name) is marked, not certificate's signature name.Even though in that condition the certificate's signature name can be brought. It seems like an error. So is there anything I can do for correting this?Or Adobe should fix it? If you share any idea it will be really helpful:)
Hello, How to sync ADOBE Acrobat Reader between iPad and MacBook Pro ?
Hi all, I have downloaded the readerdc64_hu_ha_crd_mdr_install.exe install package which should install Reader with Hungarian language. The installer itself is Hungarian, but the installed version is English only. I have tried to change the language on the Preferences->Language panel, but only Engilsh is available. The "Chose at application startup" doesn't work, it doesn't show the language selector window at startup. Any idea, how I could use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC in Hungarian? Thank you,Zsolt

Hello. As the title reads, I hope to be able to find a way to install both Acrobat Reader and Pro on a computer, or some similar result. The reason for it: One person who uses the computer in question does graphic design work. They also have a work computer (elsewhere), and a server that is also frequently used for some things. They are the only user with an Adobe Creative lisence, and other people who use the machine have become unable to open PDF files. It used to function this way, but has quit doing so (by design, apparently, looking at other dicussions). When I tried reinstalling Reader I received the following message: Old/New Acrobat version already installed. Is there any way to make this work? No one else needs the ability to edit, or otherwise manipulate, PDFs like that, but they do. Other than them, all we need is the ability to read PDF files.
I've created a portfolio file when i select the cover Sheet using :go to CertificateShould show the signature menu like this: Some computers are not showing using the same file I've check all the configurations and the only thing i can see different is the version is this a bug in the new version or any other way to do it this in the new version?

I have been using the Comment function in Acrobat Reader to proofread PDFs for a while now, and previously if I selected some text to replace, typed the new text, and hit Escape, the entire change would be recorded as a comment. Now, when I hit Escape, it records only the first letter of the replacement text, so I have to go back into the comment and edit it to get the rest of the text in. Alternatively, if I remember in time, I click the "Post" button at the bottom right of the little window that comes up when I start typing the replacement text, and the text is then recorded properly, but this involves an extra mouse click each time, which becomes onerous when one has to do that hundreds or thousands of times in a job.I'm running Windows 10 Pro and I have checked that my Acrobat Reader is up to date (23 August 2022).Is there any way to fix this annoying issue?
