We have Government created pdf forms that we recently migrated from a file share to SharePoint online. Our users are able to open the forms through Reader (Add a storage account > SharePoint Site), however when opening a form that has already been completed, the form will clear all fields. We have been restoring the version history to the original through SharePoint which is obviously causing some frustration due to lost data. Has anyone else experienced this before?
I have a Perl program which generates some PDF files. When these files are opened by Adobe Acrobat Reader DC in Windows 10 there is an error message 'The document page tree contains an invalid node'. Apart from the message the pages appear to render correctly.Other pdf readers don't produce the error message. How can I obtain more information about the invalid node? With this information it might be possible fix my program so that it produces error free PDF files.
When reading eBooks which have been divided into a Contents PDF and Chapter PDFs a Security Warning Message appears everytime you select a Chapter to read from within the Contents document. If you select Edit / Preferences / Security (Enhanced) from the top toolbar you can add the Folder Location of the PDFs into the Privileged Locations box but this fails to stop the Security warning message box appearing. If you add the File Names of the PDFs into the Privileged Locations box it may work the first time but then fails to stop the Security warning message box appearing on subsequent times the Chapter is selected. To Summarize both the Folder and File Options for the Privileged Locations in the Security (Enhanced) Preferences fail to work as described and make reading eBooks using PDFs almost impossible. This is a major Security Bug and needs to be fixed as users may be tempted to switch off the Enhanced Security feature to resolve the issue rendering their computer

Need help! I created a form using Adobe Acrobat 9. I added a java script in the background to alert the user of any fields that were not filled out, including multiple signature lines. I tested the form frequently, using Acrobat 9, pro and reader DC, and it worked perfectly. Now I am getting reports from the users(using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC), that they are getting an error message stating that the signature lines need to be populated when the lines have the signatures inserted already. I am not Adobe savy, I am just trying to get rid of using paper. can anyone help? Thanks
I am revising a document for an author. They created the document in PDF pro, and have given permision for me to comment on the document. However, whever I save the document as a new one and then try to reopen the document I saved, then I get this error. I am using Adobe Acrobate Reader DC. "This document enabled extended features in Adobe Acrobat Reader. The document has been changed since it was created and use of extended features is no longer available. Please contact the author for the original version of this document." Any help would be appreciated.
Hi I would appreciate your help. I am trying to print 1 A6 page 4 times on the same piece of A4 paper in Adobe Reader but it doesn't seem to be working. I have gone into print, selected multiple and customised it to 2 by 2 but it only seems to print 1 A6 on the top left hand side of the page and leaves the other 3 A6 spaces on the page blank. Would appreciate if you could help me. Many thanksHelen
I there, So I'm on page 7 and the reader starts saying 'warning empty page' when I ask it to read my document. It was working perfectly before. My document has text, and the reader knows this as I can highlight each line.Any thoughts welcome, thanks.
Help me fix the cursor to its proper space for typing words
1) Clicking on a bookmark link resets the user configured zoom setting2) Page down should subtract at least 1 full line, preferably 2 or even 3 in order for th user to reorient themselves to the new page.
I tried to download a form from Swedish Skatteverket (tax authority) but got the message I would need a later version of Acrobat Reader. When trying to install this I got the message that an EARLIER (how is that possible) version was found so the installation would abort and declared a failure. Now I am absolutely at a loss.
Each of the 1500 pages has been indexed. I would like to print out the index or copy it into an Excel file.
To quickly find a PDF, search for the filename (Where are the filenames?) in Windows. Then navigate to the found folder, right-click the PDF file, and choose Delete (Windows)Not one of these things happens when I follow the instructions. I am (obviously) not too bright about using computers, but this just doesn't make any sense to me. Isn't there an easy way to just delete a pdf file???Thanks for any help.
I can run it, tried repairing and updating it, but after opening a .pdf it will work for a few seconds (being able to select text/scroll down) but then totally freeze, has to be closed from Task Manager. Can use Firefox to view .pdfs in the meantime.
I do a lot of work with PDFs of images from Google Books and for the past year or so I've been having problems with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC throwing out-of-memory errors. I'm currently at version 2020.013.20074. Here is one file that is behaving badly: https://books.google.com/books?id=xHoPfmFJC9AC (click the gear icon and select Download PDF) When I open file this file in Reader and watch the memory usage in Task Manager, I see that it stabilizes at about 330 MB after about 30 seconds. Scrolling increases the amount of memory used, but the memory stabilizes once I stop scrolling. However, if I switch to View->Page Display->Two Page View, without any further scrolling, the memory usage increases at a rate of about 10 MB/sec until it reaches about 3.6 GB, at which point I get an out of memory error. It is also sufficient just to open the file and switch to Two Page View, without doing any scrolling at all. I have tried: disabling Protected mode at st
I am using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2017 Release Version 2017.012.20098. When I used Advanced Search to search all the PDF files in a folder, I get the message:`Search has skipped 41 files because either these files are corrupt or you don't have permissions to open them.`I set all files to have read/write/execute permissions to all users, but still get this message. Since I have hundreds of files, is there any way to have Reader tell me what files it can't open?

I am attempting to install Reader on Windows 7 Pro x64. The installation appears to go OK, but when I try to launch Reader I get a System Error message reading -The program can't start because api-ms-win-core-winrt-string-I1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. Well, reinstalling does not help the problem. I did a little reading and saw that the "winrt" part of the name refers to something that did not come with Windows until Windows 8. When downloading the installer, the Adobe download page indicates that it sees that the system is running Windows 7, English. It seems odd that it is sending me a Reader version that cannot run on Windows 7. I ran Windows Update and installed the important updates, also updated NET Framework. Also checked Adobe's website for older versions of Reader, for Windows 7 it points one to the same place used previously for downloads. Any suggestions?
