It seems that Acrobat Reader is silently downloding a broken zip file (with a broken .png file inside it) from this URL: http://acroipm2.adobe.com/assets/Owner/arm/adnme4/2001.zip We noticed that in the logs on our firewall because this download has been rated as "malicious" due to the inconsistency of the zip file. This download attempt has been registered on several machines and all they have in common that relates to Adobe is the Acrobat Reader. Basically we could whitelist this URL on the firewall and avoid the notifications but still it wouldn't fix the zip file which would be still broken and probably not usable. It's also possible to decompress the file but it just reveals a broken .png file inside it. Anybody noticed that, too?Where should I report such bugs to?The support chat doesn't really help in this case - they just tried to help with the app installation but this is not an installation issue at all.
How do I change the scale ratio when measuring 2D design in PDF document?
This is frustrating. When I make a PDF document in Adobe illustrator and saves it, I can open it in Acrobat reader. But if I make any changes and press save, the edits does not show in Adobe Reader, I have to save it as a new document, and that will make a lot of documents in the end...Earlier this was not a problem, I pushed save, and the edit was there in Acrobat at once.I know the changes are saved, because I tried to close and open the document in Illustrator, and the ediits were there, so I don't think Illustrator is the problem.. Please help... Thank you 🙂
Despite having an up to date Adobe Reader and a print preview showing the whole documentation; on printing only the border outline prints but not the content. I am trying to print the insurance certificate. I have looked through all the print options I can find and tried re-saving the PDF to another file, restarted my computer etc. I can not export to Word as the pdf is passport protected. Any suggestions gratefully received! Steve
Hi I'm new to Adobe. Sorry if this is a dumb question. I have a large document that has a few thousand images. The first part of the document sorts these images into various categories. Each image has multiple listings. I've figured out how to make a link from the image to one of it's listings. Do I have to repeat these steps to link the image to it's other listings? Can I copy the link and apply it to the the next listing? Is there some automated way I can link the images to the different listings? - I had to ask - it looks like a few weeks to do this by hand. Thanks for the help
I am using Adobe Acrobat Standard DC for teams. I have added a digital signature to a PDF invoice in Acrobat Reader. But I cannot save a certified, read-only copy. When I hit the "Save a certified copy" button in the "Sign" menu, I get a popup saying "An error ocurred while uploading. Please try again." However no matter how many times I try, it never saves the document, it never works. How to resolve this issue?
How does one update Adobe Reader DC Continuous? There is no hamburger icon and no link in help, about...The only way I know to manually update is to uninstall/reinstall, which doesn't seem right. I can't find any way to update. Thanks, Bear
Bom dia. Alguns pdf que eu abro com o Adobe fica com esses caracteres, tornando-o ilegível.Alguém sabe alguma solução? Obs.: não são todos os pdf que isso acontece, são apenas alguns. Obrigado.
W7 Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2018.009.20044Today I went to save a pdf that I had received in an email. FILE--> SAVE AS--> [filename]. Seems fine. Then when I go to Windows Explorer, it's not there. I go back to Reader, try "Save as" again, but now the file I just saved is visible in the "Save As" window. So I save as [filename1], go back to Windows Explorer, and see that neither file shows up. Re-started computer, still the same. Just wondering -- might there be something toggled on the originator's computer that keeps Windows Explorer from seeing it? NOTE: Other pdf's DO show up in Windows Explorer.
So it seems that thare are a few misguided individuals that think there is no reasonable reason why to hate Adobe. Mine is quite simple. I'm a Unix only user. Yes that's right we exist. The linux/FreeBSD/Solaris/HPUX... group. So someone sends you a PDF created by Adobe Creator... They have no idea what OS the receipiant will have. Now to open the file I have to fire up a VM that runs Windows simply to read a "Portable Document Format" that originally toted the open anywhere idea... The bloated Free Adobe DC Reader once downloaded takes forever to simply start. Thankfully the document reader eventually loads. I now open the PDF and then immediately print to file. All of a sudden the EXACT same PDF is now readable under Linux. I understand that there are some quite complicated PDF's out there... Sadly though 99% of them are a simple blank form that didn't ever need to be created
AT THIS POINT I THINK I AM ABOUT TO GIVE UP ON ADOBE ACROBAT. I'VE NEVER HAD AS MUCH TROUBLE AS I DO NOW WITH USING FILL AND SIGN. TIME TO LOOK FOR ANOTHER SOFTWARE.....
Hi! Ive had this issue for months now and am trying to get it resolved. I have a 'something went wrong' pop up screen that wont close, and neither will the acrobat reader app. Its completely unresponsive. I dont actually remember how this started but everything i try can't fix it and therefore i can't restart my mac so its gotten really slow. Ive tried updating my mac, which wont because the app wont close, ive tried the cleaner for adobe, which wont work because the app wont close/ quit. i can hide the screen but not quit the app. Please help.
Hi there, is there a way to personalise a PDF with a subscribers' name so that they will be discouraged from sharing the document? I would need to do this on a multiples basis - ie the PDF is on the website and when downloaded by a subscriber, their name would be added to the document. thanks
When I open current local PDF files with acrobat reader, it pops up error messages (see attached image). It seems need to install a font package. Because I have the similar experiences before, I click 'OK' to transfer to a download page of font package. unfortunaely, I can only see font package for version 2023 or below. My Reader has already auto-upgrade to newest version 2024.So, how to install the font package of 2024? I goole this font package for 2024 and failed to find it . how can I find and download it?

Hi,all of my problem is described in the subject. More precisely, when trying to insert an audio comment in my pdf file I first get the right small window to begin recording my audio comment. But when I click on the record button I get an error message. Curiously I managed to insert audio comments but only on another PC, running window 7, not windows 10.Any help appreciated, thank's in advance,F. Baldit.
I used to have access to Creative Cloud through my ex employer. Every time I try to use Adobe Acrobat (just reader not pro) I am asked to log in to my account for whom I no longer work. I have deleted Creative Cloud, wiped my PC clean (Windows 11 reset), reinstalled Adobe Acrobat and still being asked to log in. Very frustrating.
Dear Adobe Support Team,I am reaching out regarding a limitation we are facing with Adobe Acrobat Reader. Currently, only three users can be logged in simultaneously. If a fourth user needs access, one of the existing users must log out to allow the new login.Could you please advise if it is possible to increase the number of concurrent users for our account? If so, what steps or additional licensing would be required to enable this functionality?Thank you for your assistance.Best regards,
Hi. I have one question for language expression on the Adobe Acrobat Reader download web page. When I tried to download Acrobat Reader installation for Korean language, I found this one. Why the 64bit version selection language expression is 'Korian'? If it means 'Korean' it should be 'Korean'.
Hello. Recently, as in just in the last month since Adobe Reader auto updated, I struggle with print consistency. I will open a PDF file that we have printed thousands of times before with no issues, hit print, and it comes out of the printer with all colors negative to what they should be, whether I print greyscale or not. (see image for example). I have since figured out that the "Print as Image" selection is what causes this. Why? I haven't figured that out. But I have figured out that this is the root cause for sure. When I uncheck this selection, it prints fine. HOWEVER, I am also unable to reliably uncheck it. Checking other forums/discussions lead me to believe that simply unchecking grayscale will allow me to access this, but it only works 50% of the time randomly. I have no idea how to fix this issue, and it is the same whether I "disable new acrobat reader" or not. This just started happening with the new update, we have never had this issue before.Furthermore, It will not sa
