Hello All, We have a problem. We get a black image when pasting images copied from PDF opened in Internet explorer with Adobe Reader Addin integration. Direct opening the PDF in Adobe Reader and copy and pasting works. This is only happening with HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International\localename = nl-NL registry value. With the value en-US in localename it works like normal. I see you thinking....why are you still using Internet explorer? Our healthcare app is still based on Internet explorer functionality. Not an easy change. I tried to report this as a bug but no option to create a case at Adobe website. I hope someone could help me out.
We are preaparing to install Adobe Reader on Windows 11 for 500+ workstations. In testing, we notice that the Adobe Reader application is taking much longer to launch on Windows 11 than it did on Windows 10. Disabling Enhanced Security features has reduced the launch time from 16 seconds down to 7 seconds, but this is still nowhere near the launch times currently seen on Windows 10, which are near-instantaneous, regardless of security settings.Holding down the SHIFT key during launch does not seem to make a difference.Any ideas?Installed version: 22.3.20322.0
I'm trying to print an A0 piece of paper in A4 pieces when using the tiling option. The only problem is the quality is reduced and blurry. This is not okay as I'm selling my pattern pieces. Is there a way to fix this? Adobe online through the desktop doesn't allow me to print like this. I can't install Adobe on my Chromebook so, I'm left with Windows PC but the Windows PC version doesn't allow me to adjust the quality. TIA.
I am having a problem where, even though I have selected the option to have Adober Reader open the PDF's from the last session, it is not reliably doing so. I'd say it does this less than 50% of the time. I am running version 24.003.21112 (64 bit). The recent files are listed and I can click on them and reopen them, but it's a nuicance to have to do this. I exit the program by clicking on File, Exit Application. I couldn't find any recent posts like this in the Reader Community.
If acrobat is left for a long time it will use a core, enough to make the CPU fan on my laptop go to high rpm mode. I will kill acrobat and it will go back to normal, until after an undetermined period of time, it will start using the CPU again for no reason. It also wastes battery life. How can I get it to use no CPU when not in use? Hi,I need to know how to change the default page size from Letter to A4. I need the final document "as is", because I don't know if I'll be able to change it later before printing (since I'm taking it somewhere else). It would be useful to know how to change this when needed.
Hi, I have a lot of pdf documents that I would need to send to printer on ONE SIDE of paper by default. Is there any way that I can keep Printer on both sides of paper un-check(as default) when i start up the Adobe Acrobat. Thank you.
Hi...I'm sure I'm missing something really simple...however, I read earlier threads that said to "re-highlight" and hit delete...when I try to do that all it does is ADD another layer of the highlighting...so the highlighted text just gets darker/more opaque with each "re-highlight"/delete sequence. I also tried looking in the "COMMENTS" for a "lists" of highlighted text to select a specific highlight and then hit delete, but could not find such a "list."Is it just the PDF document I'm in, or is there something else I can try...had no trouble highlighting. The only solution I have found is to close the document and hit "Don't save." Then I am left with the original without any highlighting.Thanks.
I've checked the forums and don't see this problem.Using Reader DC 2017 Release.Attempting to open a pdf file and getting an error message of "You do not have permission to perform this operation." The author of the file is also getting this error. File was created in June 2017.I have used Notepad to confirm it is an actual PDF file. The first line says, %PDF-1.6%âãÏÓChecked the metadata via windows explorer/properties. Read/Write are both checked. There is no prompting for password.I've tried a Microsoft Office repair tool without success.Any ideas how I may recover this file?

I created an editable pdf form using my current subscription to acrobat pro. It has editable text fields and an image field. In order to ensure everything worked ok for adobe acrobat reader users I tested the form on a system with the latest version of reader 2024.003.20112 the desktop version of reader. Unfortunately when I click on the image field it does not prompt to select an image to add. Any ideas on how to get this working properly? Thanks in advance!
I just installed the latest update to Acrobat Reader and it uninstalled Acrobat from my system in the process without warning. Totally unacceptable! Fortunately I was able to uninstall Reader and reinstall Acrobat. All I ever used Reader for was to view PDF files, so I don't need it since Acrobat will do that and much more.
Hi Guys. From time to time, our accountants receives invoices with strange text formatting - screenshot below. Messages come from different recipients, so we can exclude an error on the senders side. Error appears randomly - on one PC file is formatted incorrectly and on another it is ok. What is wrong with it? No strange software installed on computers. Tried on several versions of Adobe Reader - from old 9.5 to fresh install from Adobe downloader. Thanks for help.
Hi there!Acrobat's online help says to do this: Open the PDF and choose File > Save As Other > Reader Extended PDF > Enable Commenting and Measuring. But I am not getting any such option under Save As Other. Very frustrating. There are two options - Save As Other/Text, or Save As Other/Word or Excel Online - neither of which are any use as far as I can tell. Can anybody help me locate this? Better still, is there a way to set Acrobat Reader up so all pdfs have comments enabled automatically? Thanks so much!
Adobe Error when Export PDF to Microsoft WordWhen attempting to export PDFs to MS Word, I receive the following error:Adobe Acrobat Reader could not open "A9kfaan3_1b7tki2_sg8.tmp" because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded). If I hit "ok", then it will convert it. Furthermore, when I had previously (before renewing my subscription to the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader) performed the same process with the same file, I never received any type of error.
PDF previewer not working in Outlook or Windows Explorer. How do is this fixed?
Hi Everyone,I have a question for you, I changed my background to black, when I highlight the text, only the letters change color but the background stays black. Is there a way to change the background of the highlighted text so it's not black? I don't actually want to highlight the letters of the text but the selected area around it. Thanks in advance.Acrobat version: 2023.003.20201 - 64-bit OS: Windows 11

Hi there, maybe somebody is able to help me..I'm using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Version 2017.009.20044 installed on a Win7 x64 (latest Updates installed) host system.Whenever i am reading a document the font changes itself after some time. I didn't recognise wether it happens on restart of Adobe Reader or even while having the document opened. After a reinstallation (done it several times), the font is the original one. After some time of usage it changes again.Under settings the option use local fonts is disabled, i didn't change something else.Does anybody have a clue what's going on there?Thanks-mdie
We are running Acrobat Reader on Azure Virtual desktop using Remote Apps. As one of the systems running on AVD produces PDF files which are then opened in Adobe Reader so the user can print or save the file as needed. For some users who have Acrobat Pro licenses (installed on their machines not on AVD) they are now getting the free trial offer pop up when Acrobat Reader is launched. They are then stuck in a loop as if they quit the free trial offer , Reader shuts down and therefore the PDF file is not produced, if they try and accept the free trial it wnat them to download Creative Cloud, which they have no permissions to do on AVD (ior their desktop). Basically this is preventing us using Adobe Reader. The only thought i have so far is to prevent Adobe Reader accessing the internet which might prevent it from offering the free trial. Any help would be appreciated.
Hello, Firstly, your "bug report form" is confusing - there is no form on the website? Secondly, I have found a bug where Adobe Acrobat will not display the content of PDF file, when Microsoft Edge and other readers DO display the content. I have attached the PDF. Try opening it firstly in your browser and secondly in Adobe Acrobat. I have attached screenshots:
when i press the "sign in" button through the adobe acrobat reader app it doesn't respond. I cannot see all my documents from adobe cloud storage. I see it just through the web app. I tried to reinstall multiple times but nothing. Any idea??
