Initial:When I input 60 in Field A and 80 in field B. Nothing is appeared when the total amount is smaller than 100When I input 60 in Field A and 80 in field B. Alert is appeared when the total amount is greater than 100.Alert is appeared when the total amount is greater than 100. The Alert message is "the total amount cannot be exceed 100"How to make relevant javascript code for this activity?? Thank you.

1) Initially, Field A and Field B are visible for person to input.2) During input some words in Field A (eg. Peter)3) After input words, Field B is hidden. Person cannot input anything in Field B.4) If I delete the words in field A (Become blank), Field B becomes visible again.I don't know how to make the java-script code for this activity. Hi everybody,does anybody know if it's possible to integrate some kind of java-script in a PDF file with the functionality to send an email as soon as some one opens the PDF on her or his PC?I think the app object should do this, but I didn't find any hints in the "Acrobat JavaScript Scripting Guide".Thank you all.

I have 2 custom stamp files that share the same DocumentID (I built one off the other). I'm unable to use both stamps at the same time and I believe it's because they share a DocumentID.They both show up in the stamp menu, but when I select Stamp 2 the one that shows is Stamp 1. IT also shows Stamp 1's thumbnail where the second should be. If I remove Stamp 1 I can use the second stamp just fine.Since I can't edit the DocID thru notepad (corrupts the pdf), how would I be able to do this via Javascript?

Just wondering if there is a way to do this. I'm creating a fillable pdf(using InDesign), where users must go through and check boxes to answer questions. I want to know if there's a way so that once they've filled in the form and hit save, the PDF would then generate an extra page that has the cumulative results from all the checkboxes, seeing as the questions will be spread out over several (30-40) pages, and one place to show all these results would be great. Someone in the InDesign forum mentioned getting someone to do this in Javascript??

How do I build a button that creates a new page with the same format but the data is blank? i.e. I used the JavaScript command "var.a=this.getTemplates("Second Page");a.spawn();" and it creates the new page, but it copies over all the data from that page into the new page....I want the new page to be blank (with the same formatting)...what do I need to change to the code?

Is it possible to create a nested tag tree as a group rather than individual create each tag? Say there is a list that needs to be tagged manually; I would have to create the <L> list tag and then any <LI> list item (and each list items’ label <Lbl> and list body <LBody>) after. Is there a way to auto-populate the nest so if I insert an <L> tag, it would already have a list item <LI> nested inside it?

I want to flatten, save and email a PDF using javascript. The document will be saved on a local server but emailed to someone who will not always have access to. I want the file to be sent as PDF but when it arrives to the recipient they get the error message that the file cannot be found as they do not have access to the server..What is the best javascript to use here?I'm using Windows, have Acrobat DC.

I took a packet that's broken up in 7 different files and combined them all as one .pdf. Problem is, I'm in the Navy and doing that is technically "altering an official document" (even though all I did was essentially copy/paste), which is a big no-no. The way it exists now, it takes longer to open/save/print each file than it does to do the work. So, I combined them and automated where I could, now it takes about 15 seconds vice 15 minutes+. But, I need to get the 4 .docx and 1 .xlsx back to their native format after they've been filled out in the master file, then knock the other 2 ranges out as .pdf. I'm not sure how, but this worked perfectly once using:this.extractPages(start,end,'/C/myPath/myFilename.docx', 'com.adobe.acrobat.docx'); In a button action. I have a form set up for users to score individuals in 8 categories. At the bottom of the form, I have created a field that adds up all of the previous scores that I'll refer to as TOTAL SCORE. Is this possible?I am trying to get companies to use the Index feature more, but everyone has the same issue. Great at starting it, not great at adding the new ones to rebuild the existing Index. I would like to extract a specific page (say page 5) in a PDF using a button and while saving the PDF.  The on-save action does not seem to work for me. I just purchased Adobe Acrobat Pro DC at Office Max and I followed the directions to get my serial number, but when I go to download the software from the provided link, it gives me an error message that says the .exe file is damaged or corrupt. Any ideas? ~ John

Hello, I've created a form in which certain check boxes and fields are required. When clicking on the submit button, I would like it to verify if those check boxes and fields have been filled in. If they have, then send a mail with the PDF. However, if they haven't, then highlight the empty fields. Unfortunately, I know pretty much nothing of JavaScript, which means that if I find an article that shows the solution, it doesn't work for me (probably because I didn't specify the names of the fields...). Can you please help me out?The check boxes that need to be filled in are "Customer" and "Site". The fields that are required are "Name" and "Contact".

Greetings,I am designing a form that will be filled out in three steps.  I have it set up to show the fields for the first person and have the second and third person's fields hidden.  When the form is signed digitally, the action will lock the fields on page one, make the fields visible on page two and then (This is the part I cannot figure out) email the form intact to the next person (hard coded) for them to complete their section.  When they sign the form it will lock the fields on page 2, make visible the fields on Page 3 and save it (yes, I have to figure this out too) in a specific location for the final person to complete and sign.  The final signature will lock the remaining fields and save the file in a new location (repeat of the previous signature script with a new location).I have successfully created the first script to switch the fields, but when I use the script to email the form, it arrives without any data or fields for the next person.Any directio
