Acrobat SDK

Hello.We routinely update Acrobat with the latest patch using the same methodology every time. Since 11.0.0.14 or 11.0.0.15, this has always worked fine:msiexec /p <patchname>.msp /a <location of AIP created from the original installation media DVD)>\acropro.msiWith the patch for 11.0.0.18, this process completed successfully. However there is a problem. In the newly created AIP, "acropro.msi" is not there.I have tried numerous methods including using a completely different workstation with brand new files copied directly from the original installation media. Our methodology has not changed.Have they changed the location of acropro.msi in the resulting AIP, or is this patch messed up?Please help.

When I try to attach a pdf file to an email using adobe acrobat pdf pro 10, the screen blinks, but it does not open outlook. I have to try it several times before it will actually open up outlook and attach to an email. What can I do to fix this?

I know I ran into this before, and found a solution, but now I'm drawing a complete blank and Google isn't even pretending to help.I'm trying to install an update for Acrobat 2015 onto a Mac that's identical to several other Macs that have this patch installed, and the file system is NOT, I REPEAT **NOT**, case sensitive.  Yet the installer fails claiming it is.How dow e get around this?

I contacted support but they say that they cannot help since it is CS 4?  I installed CS4 on my new laptop about 6 months ago and all went well.  All of sudden when I try to use Adobe Acrobat I am told I need to open another part of the suite .  I open Photoshop but Acrobat will not stay opened.  Any thoughts? Exact message isAdobe Acrobat was installed as part of a suite.  To enable Adobe Acrobat, please start another component of the suite (suchas Adobe Photoshop).

Adobe Acrobat xx.0 Type Library Hi. First time here, so apologies if I am posting incorrectly! I am missing something obvious. To get some VBA codes working I need a reference to Adobe Library. I do not have this. Three hours of searching the Web reveals endless sites talking about these products. Up until now I find no web site telling me how to get it. I I want and need this Library. I need Adobe Acrobat xx.0 Type Library, either version 8.0 9.0 or 10. I expect either would make my codes work. Can anyone point me in the right direction. There are lots of adobe web sites talking about these. I have not yet seen any information on how to get them . Possibly these Libraries are part of a larger Package. I have Adobe Acrobat Pro DC provided by the School District I work for, for my computer.While trying to install it, it asks for "Serial Number".But every attempt to provide said serial number is rejected.I contacted Adobe help number, and they said they could not help me.It had to be through "Chat"Please help.Thanks you

I have a corrupt disk. Can I reinstall online?

My Acrobat Pro XI automatically changed to Pro DC,  possibly through a company update.   The tool bars are now very large.   Previously in Pro XI,  I was able to reduce the size through "Edit - Preferences -  Scale for Screen Resolution" by setting it to 100%.   This feature does not appear to be available in the Pro DC as I am only able to set it to "Auto-Detect".   Is there any other way to change this scale in Pro DC?    I find the larger size distracting and a waste of screen space.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks!   DM

Hi there!I am very new to JavaScript and seeking help with my issue.I have a form that will be filled out by different people. They can download the file on our intranet. I need the form to auto-generate a unique ID when the form downloads however, once they "save" the filled out form, the generated number should stay.I found a code that generates the unique ID but it changes when even the saved and filled ones are opened every time.Is there a way to do this?Thanks!

I have a PDF document with multiple layers. Depending on the stage of the project certain layers need to be turned on or off. For example, once I move from the development stage to the production stage, development will be unchecked and production will be checked for as long as the document remains in that stage. Layer visibility is controlled with this script:if (event.target.value=="Off")    this.getOCGs()[1].state = false;else this.getOCGs()[1].state = true;It works great, but when the document is closed and reopened all layers are reset to their default state: Off. I've tried a ton of variables (including View State, InitState, etc) but can't get the initial visibility to remain on when the file is opened. Any thoughts on how to accomplish this?

My computer crashed and I want to download my Adobe Acrobat XI Standard to a new computer.  I do not have access to my old computer since it is crashed and therefore could not uninstall it.

I have searched and found information on importing excel data into a single PDF but that is not quite what I need.  I need to loop through a directory of PDF's and if the pdf document name matchs the field PDF in my excel file then update the PDF Title field with the Title from the spreadsheet.  So basically loop through c:\pdfs and if PDF Name = Excel spreadsheet PDF column value then update the actual PDF Title with the value from the excel spreadsheet column Title.  I guess I would have to scan every row of the spreadsheet to see if that PDF existed or not.  Is this possible?Thanks! I need HELP! I am creating form in which a date range is requested in the form. I went in to properties of that field and selected "Custom" under "Date" under "Format" and entered "mm/dd/yy to mm/dd/yy". In the example field, it's showing up as "mm/dd/yy ao mm/dd/yy". Also, when I preview the field, even if I place the date in as set up in the settings, a dialog box pops up and tells me I'm entering wrong. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong!? Also, how can I get the "mm/dd/yy to mm/dd/yy" to show up in the field so the user doesn't have to guess to start???

Can Acrobat DC be used via the command line? I would like to be able to convert *.htm files into pdf files from another application without seeing Acrobat.  I don’t mind if it is Distiller or Acrobat, but I can’t seem to find the answer to this question. Thanks

I have Acrobat professional 8 for afew years. While converting Word 365 to PDF, it does not and tells me to go for various actions including to ask retsart . I do them all and back to squire one. Mine shows upto 2007 for word?

I would like to create a map with an icon of printers throughout our office.  Users will be able to just click the printer icon and it automatically downloads the print driver and adds it.  I am able to get this to work via IE - HTML using \\servername\printer but this doesnt work for Chrome/Firefox hence why I am looking at Adobe PDF.  I tried using javascript but that didnt work unless i am doing it incorrectly.  The code i am using is below:var WshNetwork = new ActiveXObject("WScript.Network");var PrinterPath = "\\\\servername\\lj9";WshNetwork.AddWindowsPrinterConnection(PrinterPath);   What is the best way to tackle this?  I am very new to acrobat so please bear with me.Thanks

Hallo zusammen,sicherlich gibt es an der ein oder anderen Stellen schon diese Frage, ich finde nur leider nichts, das mein Problem tatsächlich löst 😕😕Also es um folgendes, ich habe ein PDF Dokument beschreibbar gemacht, so weit hat auch alles geklappt, jetzt müsste ich allerdings ein Brutto/Netto Feld anlegen und komme nicht mit der Formel zurecht die dazu benötige. Durch Recherchen weiß ich, dass ich eine Formel anlegen müsste so weit so gut, nur wie hat diese Formel auszusehen und wo lege ich diese an?Ich muss dazu sagen, dass mein Programm komplett auf Englisch ist und meine Englischkenntnisse überschaubar sind.Ich freue mich auf Rückmeldungen.Viele Grüße

I have created a 3d object in photoshop and exported the 3D layer to PDF. The PDF seems to ignore any default view/camera settings. It opens the same way no matter what I do. It's not just the poster setting. Can anyone help?

how do I find the serial number on my Acrobat Pro XI?

I'm using Adobe Acrobat Pro XI. I have a number of image files that were converted to PDF by a client who inherited them from a gentleman who is no longer with the company. These were large documents that were scanned in slices, then compiled into a single image before being converted to PDF. The PDF's are slightly skewed and no border lines show up between the image slices. If the Adobe Acrobat Edit Text & Images is chosen, each slice of the image can be selected. The problem I'm having is with the Optimize Scanned PDF command in the Document Processing menu. If I use this feature, the resulting image shows the border between each slice of the image, which is unacceptable. I suspect the image may have been purposely skewed so these faint black hairlines don't show up on the screen. Note that these unwanted lines don't appear when printed to an 8.5X11 sheet of paper on a printer.Is there any means to deskew an image made of multiple slices and NOT get the unwanted border lines arou

How can I change my verification email since I provided the wrong one when purchasing ?

2 days ago after a struggle, I got the Acrobat 2015.DMG file downloaded and started to install.  I somehow found the SERIAL number, typed it, and clicked Continue.  The Installer ran for a bit, then hung for 45 minutes.  When I asked for help, I got a message telling me the system was down and I should come back in 24 hours.OK, so today I'm trying again.  But my new problem is I can no longer find the SERIAL number.  It's not in any of the emails I have from Adobe or from PayPal about my successful purchase,  Once again, I cannot install Acrobat Pro.  I don't know what to do!  Adobe has no right to charge PayPal if I have not been able to install the product, but I don't think they care.I'm on a Mac mini, OSX 10.9.5.
