We are developing PDF Forms for a German (Swiss) audience number formats in Switzerland are 99'999.99 and dd.mm.yyyy. How do we set the required format to the number and date fields?

Hi      Is it is possible to open a file browser and select multiple file and get the path of the each file using javascript.this.importDataObject({cName: sFile}); able to open file browser and i can able to select only one file at a time and i am not able to get the Path of the file.is there is any other function in javascript to do thisThanksBala

I have Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.  I've combined several PDF files into one, and the file name for each file became a bookmark.  Good, that is what I want. When I scroll through the pages the bookmarks do not highlight to indicate which bookmark I'm currently in.  However, If I manually add the bookmark, the highlight works properly; only when combining the files is this an issue.Any suggestions, other than manually redoing each bookmark (I have 100s)?

I have an invoice which originally was color, I used Preflight to turn it into Grayscale, however, the gray was still too dark. Now, I need to turn it into white background. I also found out under "output preview", if I select "Text" in the show field, that works for me, but I don't know how to save it? Can anyone help me please? Thanks,

I have tried different files and can't get it to print . I had another user try to print with Adobe Acrobat Reader on another computer it printed just fine. both computers have same settings.

I use Printshop Mail version 6.1 and Adobe Acrobat pro XI. I created a document using variable data, an image background, and variable image data. When I print to any of my presses it all comes out fine. Print preview looks fine as well. However when I print to PDF everything but the variable image data prints. It doesn't matter what file format I use for the variable data either. Thank you so much for your help.

I have Word 2016 installed as part of my Microsoft Office 365 subscription.  In addition to the "Home" "Insert' "Draw" and other tabs, on the far right there is now an "ACROBAT" tab which appears to be an extension added automatically by Adobe.  And under the ACROBAT tab there is an option to "Embed Flash File."   We have a Word document that has multiple embedded audio files.  If we use the ACROBAT extension "Embed Flash File" option, we can embed an audio file and it plays perfectly while in Word.  However, when the Word file is saved as a PDF file, it appears the embedded Flash file is not included in the PDF file.  Since the "Embed Flash File" option is provided as part of an Adobe extension to Word, it seems that our Flash audio should be retained when saving the document in PDF format.  Are we doing something wrong?  Is there a way to have the embedded Flash audio be retained when saving the file in PDF format?  Or does this just

Hello,we want to convert absolut colormetric sRGB files to CMYK.The fixup "convert colors" does a great job.But we have 70 special RGB colors we want to convert to exact CMYK values.This 70 colors are Pantone colors, coded with their RGB value in the pdfs.So we made a "map colors" fixup, which can map this 70 RGB values to the official Pantone CMYK values.This part is also working fine.But combining this two fixups in one preflight profle does not convert the colors as expected.Our goal would be to map this 70 colors exactly as defined in our "map colors fixup".And all other colors should be convertet absolut colormetric from RGB to CMYK, as defined in "convert colors fixup".How can we combine this two fixups, so that one is handling this 70 colors and the other one all other colors?We need a solution to convert over 20000 files.Thanks for your helpMatt

Good Afternoon,I am working on a form for a raffle.  Tickets range in prices 1 ticket is $1.00, 10 tickets is $5.00, and 25 tickets for $10.00.  What I would like to figure out is, if someone types in the number of tickets they want under the ticket column the total of tickets and prices with add up and be displayed in the $$ amount/Total # tickets area.  Let's say they want 10 tickets and then buy 1 more single ticket.  The total for them would be $6.00.  Or let's say they would like 25 tickets and then another 10 tickets, the total would come to $15.00.  I hope I am making sense with what I am trying to figure out here.   Here is a screen shot of what the form looks like.

Hi there!I'm creating a PDF which has some forms in it (Name boxes, tick boxes etc), based on content provided in an Excel file. In the Excel file, there's a section where the user can select tick boxes and then click on a submit button. This then creates a list of specific results at the bottom of the sheet. So essentially, each tick box correlates with a specific piece of data. I was wondering if this were at all possible to re-create in a PDF? Is it possible to have certain results pop up depending on which tick boxes are selected once the submit button is clicked? Hope this makes sense! Many thanks in advance! FYI - I'm on a Mac.

I started getting the following error every time I tried to edit text in a previously scanned PDF."Acrobat has detected that this page doesn't have editable text.  If it is a scanned page, edit this page by upgrading to Acrobat Pro DC or convert it to another format using the export PDF tool."I am running Windows 10I have done this many times before with the same files I am running nowI have tried exporting one of the files to word and it was successfulI tried the simple stuff: repair installation option under Help and restarted the PC with no help providedI read through the troubleshooting guide and made sure that it was Acrobat DC running, not Reader DCI should not need the Pro version to do this per the instructions and my past experienceThis is the whole reason I bought this product, so I need help tackling this.Corey

I've installed and uninstalled Acrobat XI Pro now 3X, the latter 2 using the "custom" installation in an effort to get the Adobe Agreement in English US versus Spanish but WITHOUT success. Why is it so difficult? If it's going to be a multiple language download it should be easy to select a language of choice, but I cannot get it to work properly. Anyone else have this issue? Looked for a customer support number --- not available from Adobe.

I have a very basic form that asks 10 questions on the first page.  The answers the user enters are copied to 10 fields on the second page of the form as view only. The user then puts in a priority number next to each answer.  The last page then lists the top 5 answers.When I preview the form in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, it works fine.  When I send the form out for signature, it doesn't work. hi.  Purchased CS5 Design Standard Windows a few years ago.  CDs.  Included in this suite is a separate CD of Acrobat Pro 9.  Installed everything a few years ago with the serial number given to me via a coupon code in the case.  Had to wipe the laptop because of problems with a windows 10 install.  Re-loaded CS5 fine.  Popped in the Pro 9 CD and it is telling me that the serial number is not correct. I have tried with the dashes, without etc.  This is the only serial number I was given.  How can I get this installed again?.

We have a problem with the wrong page size in Adobe Acrobat XI Pro. It is installed in our Citrix environment on Windows 2008 R2 terminal servers.Per default the page size is configured to "letter" in Adobe Acrobat and in the Adobe PDF printer and we need to change it to "A4".Where are these setting saved and how can I change it? Is there a registry key or something else?I found out, that it is possible to edit the template files ".joboptions" under "C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Adobe PDF\Settings" to change the page size for the Adobe Acrobat. Is this the only way to do this?But how can I change the settings for the Adobe PDF printer?And what did we do wrong that the page size is set to "letter"?

Microsoft updated my computer yesterday.  Now, when I email a pdf document, the recipient is receiving it in a .dat format, having been converted by Microsoft Edge.  I'm using Outlook, sending in HTML format, and have checked the properties on the pdf file I'm sending to open with Acrobat.Thanks for any help.Walter

wHICH PDF STANDARD WOULD I CHOOSE FOR LONG TERM DOCUMENT PRESERVATION?

Using multiple displays of different resolutions where the displays have individual scaling applied has been something that Acrobat cannot handle as has been documented previously such as in “window size explodes when moved to 2nd monitor” and “scaling issue with secondary display with Surface Pro 3”. Both of these examples were with a Surface and a secondary display, but the problem seems to be present wherever a second display of different resolution and scaling is used. I use a 4K screen as a primary display and a FHD screen as a secondary display. In Windows 10 the scaling for the text, icons, etc. of the 4K primary display is 200% and for the FHD secondary display is 100%. If I set Preferences – General – Scale for screen resolution to “Auto-Detect” Acrobat uses the 200% scaling of the primary display across both screens. I have tried the No Scaling option and then setting Preferences – Page Display – Resolution to “Use system setting” and to “Custom resolution” with different pix
