Hi folks,i have been experimenting with dynaimc stamps for a while and I got pretty far with this topic. What i cant get working are popup menus (or list boxes) in dialog boxes. The popup menu is displayed properly in the dialog box, but there is no content although its defined. The javascript of the content definition looks like: // This maps to a Popup Group in the PDF named 'Test' popupGroup: "Test", listItems : [ {popupItems : { //list of items of Popup menu, positive number indicates default selection "Test 1": +1, "Test 2": -

For some reason when it try's to do the update it fails at about 80%. It can not find the installation package (C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Setup\{AC76BA86-7AD7-1033-7B44-AB0000000001}\AcroRead.msi). The only package I see in the adobe folder is ({AC76BA86-7AD7-1033-7B44-AC0F074E4100}) which I believe is the new update, but the older version in not found at all on my computer. The reference in the Programs and Features panel is incomplete and will not uninstall. To sum up: I can not uninstall or update Adobe Reader XI on my computer because it is not yet completely installed, and there are no other older versions found on the PC.What do I do?
Can Adobe Acrobat IX Pro read the standard Kodak Patch Codeswhen scanning paper documents. If yes, can it assemble the pages into separate documentsbased on the patch codes?
I want to be able to find all superscript text in the document. I know that the PDF language doesn't actually specify whether text is superscript, so as proxy I want to use a specific font size, which will work in the case of the documents I'm working on.Is there any way I can do this with Javascript?
I have created an editable PDF that includes hyperlinks that other users access and save to a new location. When you open the PDF from it's original location, all of the hyperlinks work. When you save the PDF to a new location, all of the hyperlinks continue to work except for two of them, despite the fact that all of the links lead to Word docs that are in the same folder on the server and saved as the same version of word.Something I have noticed is that the displayed path changes on the links that don't work. Every link on the PDF displays the same message when the linked is left clicked, 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office16\WINWORD.EXE' rather than showing the actual path. However, when you click on either of the two links that don't work, the same message box displays but with this, 'C:\Users\or01iw\Desktop\2. MA Eligibility Questionnaire.docx'.The documents are not actually saved on my C:drive but are instead on a drive that each user can access. This is

I am creating test medical records using pdf templates. In these templates I have placed tokens that will be replaced with data. For example {{patient_name}} might become "John Doe". I will feed in a spreadsheet with a number of test patients and will generate documents. I am having a problem with how Acrobat is changing how I am organizing text. Below is a sample of what I am talking about. The bottom part was saved earlier. I entered the text in a single text area. It has split up into columns. In this particular case it doesn't matter. The "Vitals" section above it was added right before this screenshot was taken. Below is what it looks like after saving and re-opening.Here it has split up my token and I will have issues when I try to generate the final document. Is there any way to make Acrobat stop messing up my organization? In many cases the token appears in a paragraph that must re-orient itself to handle the chan
PDF printing worked O.K with Windows 10 pre August 2016 major update. Now it seems to print, goes through printing bargraphs, but no document is entered into the print buffer. I checked previous postings on the Adobe forum, made sure reader was latest version, even tried to use the "Print as Image" route, but "Print as Image" click was greyed out and I could not enable it. No Joy!!
Okay, I created a form in Adobe Acrobat DC for some research data so that I can type in the data and it will be more accurate than before when I was handwriting it. I ended up with a bunch of these filled out forms, and wanted to merge them all together and send them to someone else as one document. Then I realized that you can't merge these files because the field names would be duplicated -- you can only create a PDF portfolio. So I did that, but it turns out that the person getting my forms, who is hand-entering them into their own database anyway (long story), can only see the first page. They don't have the same software. Anyway, I can't send them any more portfolios. My interim, ridiculous, solution is to print off my pdf portfolios and scan each of them into into one "flat" file. Is there some way to do this inside of Adobe??? I see all sorts of help about how to turn a document into a fillable form, but nothing about how to turn the fillable form into a non-form doc

We are using the Serversupported comment function from Acrobat. We are preparing the related document as a PDF-File in Acrobat Professional XL. We enabled the function "Zur gemeinsamen Überprüfung senden" which means we enabled the document to be checked together in our team.Since a few days we get an error message if we want to comment this pdf file in all Acrobat versions such as: Acrobat Professional or Adobe Reader X, XI or DC.So it is impossible to make notes or comments in the created document for our team members. In the document properties the comment function is also allowed when we created the document. When opening the file in another Reader Version on all diffrent computers we get the error message seen below. Also the comment option in the properties is set to "not allowed".What can we do to solve this issue? If you need more information please let me know. ThanksError Message on other Adobe Reader Versions:"This document enabled extended features in Adobe Reader. The docume

I use pdf forms and a digital signature with password protection on the signature. I have the forms setup so once they are signed they are locked and the form fields can no longer be edited. That is working great, but I can see in the latest versions of adobe (maybe some versions too) I am able to right click on the signature, click 'Clear signature' which then allows me to edit the form and resign it.This is an issue for me, as I don't want the form to be edited once it has been signed. Is there any way to change this? Im guessing it is a feature of adobe and I am stuck with it, but it just doesn't seem right that I can sign a form, clear my signature, edit the form and re-sign it so easily.
I am preparing documents for accessibility and now all of my .pdf documents I open in Adobe Acrobat Professional have a black background and green text. How do I get it back to a white back ground with black text?
In the past our technicians completed the form, saved as a pdf and emailed it to the client. The client would open it up. It would be UNEDITABLE. Now, for whatever reason, (after an upgrade - it seems) they are EDITABLE. We simply CANNOT send out editable documents.Password protect does not work, it's still editable. Please help.
I have a document supplied by my client. A multipage 8.5 x 11 booklet. All of the pages "appear" to be portrait within the PDF, but one single page, which is a scanned image, keeps rotating when sent to the digital press. How do we fix this?
