Hello! I am a newbie here. I am trying to run the example as shown in the link below:Python | Quickstarts | PDF Extract API | Adobe PDF Services I went through all the steps mentioned above but when trying to execute the code, it fails with the below error message. I looked at the credentials.json file that was downloaded and there is no mention of private key there. Should I be setting a default value for this private key? If not, where would I find the private key?Appreciate any help you can on this. Exception has occurred: ValueError private_key must not be blankFile "C:\Programst\extract.py", line 27, in <module> .build() ^^^^^^^ ValueError: private_key must not be blank
Hello everyone,Do you know how to remove the full screen button or the button containing the full screen in Full Window mode ? Best regards
I was attempting to read the zip file directly to the code memory due to working in a read-only serverless environment instead of saving and then reading and the writeToStream method does not work. This works with other functions where a pdf files are returned by the sdk (like split PDF), but not zip files returned from extracting text. The documentation clearly states this meethod should be an option but is it not in this case.Exception encountered while executing operation TypeError: result.saveToStream is not a function
i have a JSON data as follows:{ "transactions": [ {"city":"toronto", "sales":1234.42, "account":"john"}, {"city":"toronto","sales":4502.54, "account":"mary"}, {"city":"montreal","sales":520.04, "account":"tony"} ]} In Word, i create a table to show sales, filtered for "toronto" using the "discard-if" expression. I've added a table footer that i want to perform a "sum" on "sales" using JSONata's $sum function: Numeric aggregation functions · JSONata The sum fuction operates on all elements of the array instead of the filtered array. Is there a way to dynamically sum on the filtered array? Is this supported? Thanks for any guidance.
Title says it all. We released a new Accessibility Checker API that lets you run an accessibility report on your documents at scale. You can read more about it here: https://blog.developer.adobe.com/introducing-the-accessibility-checker-beta-api-08ed594ebc8b Note that whiile this API is publicly documented in our REST docs, mainline docs + quickstarts will come with the API is generally available. And speaking of that, you need to request access to use the API before testing it.
Hello Adobe Developer Community and Support Team,I'm experiencing a problem trying to run the samples from the "Adobe PDFServices Extract Python SDK" (pdfservices-extract-python-sdk-samples) repository I downloaded from this link. According to the documentation, the only required dependency is pdfservices-extract-sdk.After setting up and activating a virtual environment using Anaconda3 (conda version 23.7.4), Python 3.12.1 and Windows 10, I installed the dependencies. However, when attempting to execute a script, such as extractpdf/extract_txt_from_pdf.py, I encounter the following error: (extract-pdf-sdk) C:\Users\<username>\Documents\pdfservices-extract-python-sdk-samples>python extractpdf/extract_txt_table_info_from_pdf.py Traceback (most recent call last): ... import requests ... import urllib3 ... from .packages.six.moves.http_client import IncompleteRead as httplib_IncompleteRead ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'urllib3.packages.six.moves'&nbs
en-US Hello Adobe community and support,I am encountering an issue while trying to set up the environment to use the pdfservices-python-sdk-samples, available at: https://github.com/adobe/pdfservices-python-sdk-samples. I followed the provided instructions for creating a virtual environment and installing the dependencies specified in the requirements.txt file (which contains only pdfservices-sdk==2.3.0), but I've hit a roadblock that I've been unable to overcome. After installing the Microsoft Visual C++ Build Tools, as suggested by previous errors, I faced a new problem installing the pdfservices-sdk dependency. The process specifically fails at the step of collecting the PyYAML==6.0 dependency, with the following error: Collecting PyYAML==6.0 (from pdfservices-sdk==2.3.0->-r requirements.txt (line 1)) Using cached PyYAML-6.0.tar.gz (124 kB) Installing build dependencies ... done Getting requirements to build wheel ... error error: subprocess-exited-with-error
I am trying to extract data from Layers within a PDF drawing into some usable format, JSON, XML etc. I am working on CAD exports of drawings in PDF format. I am able to interrogate the various Layers within PDF XChange Editor, each of which relates to a Reference within the CAD model (Building Outline, Fence, Hedge etc.). I want to be able to extract all of the metadata from each of the Layers and display this in JSON/XML format (Fill Color, Opacity, Stroke Color, Stroke Opacity, Border Width etc.). Please can you let me know if this is possible with the Adobe PDF Extract API or any other API / services? Thanks.
I have a PDF file with multiple tables, but when extracting, only some tables are obtained. Suspecting that AI might be confused when dealing with multiple tables, I separated one table into a single PDF file and used a table extraction API tool (WonderShare PDF). The result did not match the original Excel table.I used the pdf-lib library and code to separate the table into a new PDF file. After extraction, the Excel result seems to be not entirely correct. What factors could affect the results of extracting tables using the PDF API? I am attaching two PDF files and two result files when using WonderShare PDF tool and PDF-lib.
Hey Everyone, I am looking for a bit of help here. I work for a company that is in the service industry. I have build a Power App that writes data into sharepoint for various service tasks. I have then created a flow that uses the document generator API to create the report. I have all of the data pulling through but am having an issue with tables that contain images and descriptions for the image but making the rows conditional based on whether or not there is any data to display. I see there have been changes to the table side of the API and you now need to use Table Tags with markers. I have it building the table (all be it the conditional part is not working and deleting the lines) however the biggest issue is I can not work out how to insert the photos into the table. They are usually in the first column with the description in the second. In the first column I have {% table-start MotorPhotoTable %} {{MotorPhoto}}with the second column being {{Moto
Already tried solution given here (https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-services-api-discussions/modulenotfounderror-no-module-named-...), not working. using win 11 64 bit, steps followed:1) cloned pdfservices-python-sdk-samples repo from github2) Put my credendials in json file3) Created enviro variables in user variables (double checked byprint("Client ID:", os.getenv('PDF_SERVICES_CLIENT_ID'))print("Client Secret:", os.getenv('PDF_SERVICES_CLIENT_SECRET')))4) Created and activated conda environment5) Installed all dependencies (checked all methods by pip install -r requirements, by pip install pdfservices-sdk, by pip install pdfservices-extract-sdk and by python setup.py install)5) Checked if api's working fine by requesting Access Token (working)6) Ran extract_txt_from_pdf.py, getting:[Running] python -u "c:\Users\hamza\Downloads\CODING\ADOBE\pdfservices-python-sdk-samples\src\extractpdf\extract_txt_from_pdf.py"Traceback (most recent call l

I want to disable comments in sidebarSetting showAnnotationTools: false solves it but it disables PDF annotations altogether, I need a way to disable the comments sidebar only. is there a way to do this?
I am currently using Adobe OCR as part of a workflow. I wanted to track the version of the OCR model used for each conversion. Still, I need help finding documentation on metadata provided by the API call, specifically, the version used for converting the non-text stored information into machine-readable text. I want to do this for data provenance reasons. Does anyone know how to do this, or is it even possible?
