Adobe Fonts

Yeah, I find the recent changes to the Adobe Fonts service to be pretty annoying. Usually I would browse for fonts at the Adobe Fonts website and activate the ones I wanted to use and deactivate others I was no longer using just within the website. The web site still sorts of works that way as long as one is only using Adobe applications. The new "add family" button only syncs the fonts with Adobe CC applications. If someone wants to use Adobe Fonts in other applications not made by Adobe that user has to open the Adobe CC desktop app, go to the Fonts section in that app and click the "install family" button. That's an annoying extra step.   Here's a bigger problem. The fonts list within the Adobe CC desktop app is not well organized. If I want to "install" a whole type family I should only need to click one "install family" button. Instead I'm seeing some typefaces show "install family" buttons for every style. There are two things that annoy me a lot at CC's font syncing.1.Getting fonts you like getting deactivated from your account without you being notified.Sometimes during a search for a good font for a project, I save/sync fonts that I like and that I know I would have use for them in the future. Creative Cloud should not just deactive fonts from my adobe fonts without notifing me. If CC needs more space, then it should ask which fonts I would like to get rid of, not just deactivate ones that are a long time withou using. I like having all my fonts in one place (available inside the programs), to make the searching proccess faster. 2.Syncing is terribleeeeeeee.Part of what makes my complain number 1 so bad is how inneficient the font syncing is. It sometimes takes up to three minutes for the font to actually be available/usable inside the programs. Hi! We need to use a Sofia Pro font in a client's project and we have noticed that at least the letters "y" and "w" look completely different when the font is used in the website. The demo on Adobe Fonts site looks OK, also the Font file we are using in Figma. Please see the attachment. Any ideas? 

how do I view the entire glyph set online of an Adobe font? BIG Concern. The more that I examine this interface to more I see the BIG weaknesses. 

So I used to just go to the Adobe Fonts website and install the font, now the user is prompted to go to Creative Cloud to do this but when I search for the font on Creative Cloud the link just takes me back to the website? This new method does not solve any pain points, it just creates new ones! It increased the number times the user has to click (bad UX), it adds extra steps to searching for the best font (bad UX), it sends users in circles creating frustrations (bad UX). Who does this serve? Anyway, how do I Install the ATF Alternative Gothic Condensed font to use? I see it on the website, I searched for it in Creative Cloud, I see it in Creative Cloud, and I'm linked back to the website.

Adobe creative cloud fonts sync VERY SLOW or not at all. I am signed in from the web browser and from the application. did all troublshooting methods... maybe its from your side 🙂

I’m working on a Vietnamese document in InDesign, and have no problem using Myriad Pro Regular or a few other weights, but many Vietnamese characters do not appear in the glyphs palette for Myriad Pro Light (characters with specific diacriticals. Anyone know why that’s the case? And oddly enough, the characters seem to work fine in Word. I even bought a clean version, thinking maybe my font was corrupted, but the issue remains even though the glyphs are in the character list on the vendor website (myfonts.com).

I have some custom designed templates in Word that I use with clients. They use an Adobe font that shows up as active on the Adobe fonts site and in Creative Cloud, but repeatedly vanishes from Font Book and Word. I manage to "activate" it in both again, use it once or twice, and a few days later it's gone again. What am I doing wrong?

I have a problem with installed fonts, they do not appear in indesign. They appear in all other adobe programs. I tried uninstalling Indesign, but it didn't help. Is anyone dealing with the same problem?

Can I use the LTC Broadway font in my competition billboard design? In the case of the winner, the billboard can be placed by the organizer at the festival, in the press, on the website.

According to Adobe it has about 3600 font families. As I work on projects, western, modern, fun, etc... I need to quickly browse typestyles to select. A catalog like below wokuld be a huge help. Adobe - please help.

I have a web project setup to serve a couple of fonts to our website, and am pulling them in like this:<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://use.typekit.net/bny12345.css">Is it ok/possible to take the content of bny12345.css and copy and paste it into my own CSS file, thus removing the above tag (and placating Google's antipathy towards 'render blocking resources')?  

Adobe, Are you able to "turn on" or activate stylistic alternates in Semplicita Pro's webfont? These would be under the OpenType features when you activate the font. There are alternate characters I'd like to access in Semplicita Pro for use on the web. I was in touch with the font foundry, Canada Type, and they were surprised to hear these are not available—as they are when testing on their site. Thank you,Peter

Hi, I really need to translate my client's website to japanese and have been using adobe fonts for the latin part. Now we selected a few fonts from adobe font to add to the project and I can't seem to be able to add any of them. All my projects are greyed out. Any solution, please?

Where can I find a printable catalog of all Adobe fonts offered ?

I just logged into my account to add another font to a web project.This web project seems to be still working fine with the API I have registered on the site, but I can not find my APIs OR my web projects on my Adobe Fonts account anymore.When visiting my APIs page, it just says:"You don't have any API tokens. Why don't you make one?"On my Projects page:"Ready to start? Find any font you like and use the </> button to create a new web project."This is a corporate account (almost five years now) and a very large project.Kinda freakin' out here.Any idea what's going on?

I use Connect Fonts Suitcase to manage my fonts. In the last several versions, Adobe Fonts has been showing up in the Connect list of fonts. I have to activate Adobe Fonts in Connect before I use them. I thought that once activated in one's Creative Cloud account Adobe Fonts would be available with no further action required. Is there a workaround to this issue? Or what.Windows 10/64 32g ram Core i7 @ 3.5 Thanks to those who know more than me,Joe

 Something changed with Adobe Fonts. Seems like the way they get added seems different. In any case, at the same time I noticed this change, it takes a VERY long time for newly loaded fonts to show up in apps. I thought they were just not loading. It says that it's loaded on a font's page, however it doesn't show up in an apps menu. And then about 5-10 minutes later, there it is.  This makes trying out fonts imposible.  And I'm loading them from a browser page. And they don't show up in the CC app even after I hit ADD FONT. Something is wront and not usual here. 

HELP! I have activated Montserrat in both InDesign and Illustrator and the fonts are distorting. If I zoom in they look correct. Additionally, if I generate a PDF the issue still happens in Acrobat. Any suggestions on how to fix this? 

Hello,I would like to use Futura PT in a web project in Framer. Currently Framer does not support Adobe Fonts but I found Futura PT free to download for personal use. Using this download I will be able to use the font. Will my Adobe licence cover the use of the font, or Framer specifically is not covered?

I was wondering if anyone knew if it was ok to take an adobe font in photoshop and trace over it with an apple pencil/stylus for use in commerical projects? I want the text in my art prints to have more of a hand drawn look but I can't really find anything that says this is definitely ok to do (I'm based in the uk - I know laws are different in each country). I know the font licensing help section says it's ok to modify type that has been converted into outlines but I'm technically not converting to outlines, simply tracing over it. If anyone has any clarification that'd be great!

2 days not loading fonts in creative cloud. This effect my work in negative way. Please fix it, its very unstable
