Now that Adobe has ended support of Adobe Type 1 fonts, I’m searching for an equivalent to Berthold Akzidenz Grotesk, which is something I use quite often. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks!
Hi everyone, I wanted to bring up an issue I've noticed when using the font Articulat CF by Connary Fagen (via Adobe Fonts) in Figma. There appears to be a mismatch between the font weights listed in the font's metadata and how Adobe Fonts is interpreting and serving those weights on the web. Specifically, the numeric weights from the metadata (e.g., 300, 400, 500, etc.) do not align with how Adobe Fonts labels or renders them. This discrepancy is creating confusion for both designers and developers when translating designs from Figma to code, as the intended visual weight doesn't always match what ends up on the site. It's particularly problematic when developers try to match the design spec using numeric font-weight values in CSS, only to find that the visual result doesn’t match the original Figma design. Has anyone else run into this issue? Is there a known workaround, or has Adobe provided any clarification on this behaviour? Thanks!
I am using the web-based Adobe Fonts program, and I have a bunch of fonts activated in "My Adobe Fonts". When I'm using Adobe Portfolio, I want to add "site-wide" fonts to my project. When I click "Add fonts", it pops up a window that has two tabs: All Adobe Fonts & My Adobe Fonts. When I click on "My Adobe Fonts", there are only a couple of fonts activated. How do I get all my fonts activated? Do I have to go in and search for all my individual fonts again in the Portfolio program? This seems duplicative, since I've already done the search using the Fonts program. Also, a related question, why is there no Adobe Portfolio discussion group? Thank you for your help.
Hello everyone, 😊 I would be grateful if anyone can point or link me to where I can download font C 059. Notice theres' a space after C, so it's a different font to the C059, which I've already installed on my computer. Thank you in advance for your support! 🙏 QC
Hi, my company has the Freight Adobe font, which we use on our website. We have received an email from https://atftype.com/ requesting that we buy a license, but I thought that all Adobe fonts would be covered by my team's Adobe subscription costs. Has anyone had a similar/the same issue?
I have a specific font that I use every day for my job. Proxima Nova. Today I was unable to use the font and went to make sure it was properly installed. Upon hitting the refresh button multiple times I just get a message saying "Unable to install this font" I have uninstalled and reinstalled all Adobe apps, Adobe Creative Cloud, I have run the CreativeCloudCleaner Tool and nothing works. I can install and use all other fonts, even the italic versions of the font I'm trying to use, but the primary font that is essential to my job is unavailable and cannot be downloaded. Please help me resolve this urgent issue.
I have several Adobe fonts that show that they're installed for local apps but they're not showing up. They don't show up in any apps except Adobe. Some show up in Word but not all. Some show up in Apple Keynote but not all. They used to show up in everything. Creative cloud says they're available for use in local apps. I've restarted my computer repeatedly.Any ideas? Thanks.
Hi,I'm using Degular display for headlines and Degular text for body imported in a wordpress website using Avadas custom font feature. In my Mac computer the typeface looks perfect in all browers, tested in Chrome, Firefox, Arc and Safari. In XP and Fujitsu however the typeface looks broken, some letters are cut out, for example p, the g's and e's are being squezeed, etc see photos. How can I fix this? Anyone experienced these issues before?Website link here
In 2003, I purchased the Adobe CC Collection. This package included the font Futura Std, which was published by Adobe itself. I still have this font as an OTF file and would like to continue using it. Since this font has not been offered by Adobe for over 10 years, I am wondering about the current licensing rights for this font. Is this font still subject to licensing? Am I allowed to use the Futura Std font for my website through self-hosting?thanks
I'm experiencing severe performance issues with Adobe Fonts that are significantly impacting my professional work. After system restarts, font loading times regularly extend to 20 minutes, and yesterday, a client meeting was delayed by 35 minutes while waiting for fonts to load. The cloud-based font delivery system, while innovative in concept, has several fundamental flaws in its implementation:1. Unreliable loading times that disrupt workflow2. Inconsistent performance after system restarts3. Font synchronization issues that persist across updates4. Critical delays during client presentationsStandard troubleshooting suggestions like resetting preferences or Creative Cloud have proven ineffective. Despite raising these concerns for several years, the problems have intensified with recent updates rather than improved. As a long-term Adobe customer, I request that the development team prioritize addressing these core functionality issues before implementing new features. The current situa

Hi everyone, I added multiple custom fonts via the CC desktop app. To be clear: I am not talking activating fonts from adobe fonts. I added font files via "Fonts > Add Fonts to Creative Cloud". Everything worked fine until some day I opened an AI-file that contained custom fonts and the usual message of missing fonts appeared: I checked the CC app and the font was "installed" anyway: I found that signing off the CC app and restarting it sometimes helps temporarily and the fonts are downloaded and installed again: But after a few days (didn't examine precisely when) the same problem occurs again and the font is "gone". It is terribly inconvenient having to do the signin- off and -on and app-restarting procedure especially since it is not always working on first try and sometimes it takes forever loading the fonts again. Does anyone know this problem? Help is appreciated! Thank you! V
Hey Adobe and the rest of the community, This post is a long time coming, and although I see many people talking about this, I haven't seen hardly anything about this posted on this site. So, I am posting this as an idea/feature request on here and I hope anyone who is in the same boat as me can upvote this and grab Adobe's attention. We need a better font managment system in all adobe programs. I posted this in Photoshop, because that is probably where it will start, but this applies to Illustrator, Indesign and all the other adobe programs that use the same font menu. I have watched Adobe incorporate Adobe Fonts, formerly Typekit, and I am fully behind what they are doing. I love having universal and easy to use systems that stretch between all of thier suite of programs. But there are many long running issues that still haven't been touched. Firstly, and this is the biggest problem for me personally, we need to have a way to manage fonts not part of Adobe Fonts.
i have same icloud account on 2 devices desktop and ipad. My font is visible on the desktop application but not on ipad. so guide me on how to download on ipad.
I'm experiencing a persistent issue with Adobe Creative Cloud Fonts. I've successfully downloaded fonts via Creative Cloud and used them in my design project. However, when I close and later reopen my laptop, all those fonts disappear from my design file. Meanwhile, the Creative Cloud Fonts interface continuously shows a 'scrolling' or 'connecting' animation, even though I have a perfectly stable internet connection. This prevents the fonts from reloading properly. What could be causing this?
Hey, I have hypothetical question. Our company would like to use Nunito font for commercial use - website, online banners, print visuals & etc, we would like to incorporate it into our visual identity as our main font.Question is, if creator of this font (or person/company) who has the main copyright for this font, decides to change license - Nunito wont be free to use commercially anymore but it will require license buy, will our company have to buy license to this font if I already used this font when it was free to use? Or will be the paid version of this font released as something like version 2.0 and I could still use old version 1.0 which was free to use when I downloaded it for free from google fonts? I think something similar happened to Gotham Rounded - it was for free and then they changed to be paid font and I wouldnt like this to happen with font my company would use. Thank you very much in advance
I've been having this problem for about two years, and it is getting really bad. Usually, when I first open a document in InDesign, for example, the font(s) I was using yesterday is no longer available. There used to be an option to activate the fonts from Adobe Fonts, but now I just get the standard menu for replacing it. Closing all Adobe programs and then opening the offending program and file again would usually result in the font(s) being magically found. Today, I can't get that to happen any longer. I have tried signing out of Creative Cloud entirely, restarting the computer, signing back in, and loading the program and file, but the font(s) still aren't there. They all appear in the Creative Cloud desktop app. Both activated and enabled for all local programs. I have a lot of work to do this week on over a dozen projects, and now most of the fonts I've used to set them up so far are no longer loading. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Running Windows 11 Pro.A little upda
Hello I work of a remote server and our programs are on this server. Since it is dated I am running an older Creative Cloud and several apps on older versions. In the last year or so I haven't been able to add fonts, luckily most of our clients are repeats but I do have clients who do use fonts not currently installed on my system. I access Adobe Fonts online and install there and on my personal laptop (not on the server it add it) However I need my files on the server as well as the programs and none of the apps are properly updating. I can't reinstall creative cloud, doesnt help. I close out and restart it doesn't help, there is a complete break down in communication between Adobe Fonts website and the apps. I would like to know of a proper work around for this. I have tried installing from the app itself and while it pulls up in the search, an install never happens. If I reopen it comes up with unavailable, and asks if I want to enable Adobe Fonts and it does absolutely nothing.&nbs
I use typekit for the main font I use in design at my job, and I use it in several different weights from light to extrabold. Recently, some of the different weights are being listed in the Illustrator font menu as totally separate fonts. Why are they being separated from the other weights in that font family, and is there a way to fix this? It's become very annoying when I need to switch between weights and cant use the weight dropdown. This post moved from Illustrator to Adobe Fonts (formerly Typekit) [Moderator]

I am trying to link an adobe font to my cargo site. I follow the video guide by cargo and step by step by adobe but the embed code isnt generating correctly for any font I select and therefore wont connect properly. This is the code that is generated: <script> (function(d) { var config = { kitId: 'xyl4psp', scriptTimeout: 3000, async: true }, h=d.documentElement,t=setTimeout(function(){h.className=h.className.replace(/\bwf-loading\b/g,"")+" wf-inactive";},config.scriptTimeout),tk=d.createElement("script"),f=false,s=d.getElementsByTagName("script")[0],a;h.className+=" wf-loading";tk.src='https://use.typekit.net/'+config.kitId+'.js';tk.async=true;tk.onload=tk.onreadystatechange=function(){a=this.readyState;if(f||a&&a!="complete"&&a!="loaded")return;f=true;clearTimeout(t);try{Typekit.load(config)}catch(e){}};s.parentNode.insertBefore(tk,s) })(document); </script> Does anyone know how to fix this?
Hi! I'm posting this here in the hopes that someone in the Adobe Product team will see it:There needs to be a search function here so we can find fonts that have uninstalled themselves. I'm begging for this - it's insane to make us scroll through the list, it's massive and takes forever to load. Look! I've solved the UI - please add it!
On my business account I had updated to the latest CC version.I was working in inDesign / Photoshop and noticed that since the update for my whole working day, creative cloud kept trying to sync fonts, saying it was complete (it did appear to be successful messages), then about 10minutes later it was resyncing the same qty of fonts again. This was happening all day. It was also trying to resync libraries over and over again. I didnt have any issue with libraries but it did start messing with the document I was working on, resetting all the fonts to default. When I tried to re-link the fonts, the font I was loooking to choose was there but It would not allow me to confrim the selection.I have noticed the new updates includes now syncing with fonts automatically by AdobeFonts and wondering is this to do with the issue? Im also not on the latest iOS the MAC im using is a mid-2012 so I cant update to the latest versions of Adobe Software (with the exception of inDesign that had an opt
