I have activated Adobe fonts in InDesign and then also checked them in the Adobe app on my mac. They have a green check next to them that says activated, but they are not available for me to use in any product. I have restarted the program and restarted my computer. How do I get the fonts I activated to show up? <The title was renamed by moderator>
I was just working for a client last week, rendering graphics and text elements for a 75 foot, multi projection display at their anual conference at a convention center.I had setup 2 workstations on location, and the client paid for 1 hardline interenet conection. To my dismay, the workstation that was not online had no access to the CC Fonts, triggering font substitutions and potentaly breaking dozens of After effects Comps and Premiere sequences that used them ( I say break, becuase I would not have been able to work and save those projects without then having to manualy redo the fonts per comp, a time suck that I could not afford durring this live event)I was able to get a work around, where I could boot up with internet, open the projects, then pull the internet and continue working, doing the same with the other workstation; able to save and render outputs- effectivly sharing one connection. However I am shocked that there seems to be zero flexibility for working offline. Hi,Whenever I start my computer, and then the Creative Cloud app, my pc hangs/freezes (I can move the mouse but that's about it) for about 2 - 3 minutes. If I start another program, the systems "waits" until all my Adobe fonts are synchronized and then proceeds as normal.I'm guessing it's the font syncing that's the culprit since the "Service Host: Windows Font Cache Service" (svchost.exe) utilizes a constant high amount of CPU (70 - 90%) during that exact time. Not sure if this is a Windows or Creative Cloud issue, but any help would be appreciated.System: Dell XPS 2720OS: Windows 10 version 1903 (build 18362.116)CPU: Intel Core i7-4790SRAM: 16GBGPU: Intel HD 4600 & Nvidia GT 750mThanks!
Often times I want to choose a font that best fit a particular text. I want a font chooser software to help me narrow down the choices until there is one left. I want the ability to- enter a sample text to be displayed using all fonts installed- eliminate the choices until I am left with only one choice- quickly filter out serif fonts, san serif fonts, dingbats, etc- be able to create my frequently used font subset (e.g. elegant hand script) I think experience designers don't bother with this because they already store all the typefaces in their head, but I'm just a newbie. This may explain why such software, if available in the adobe creative suite, is not immediately obvious to me.Does adobe have something like this? If not, can I ask for recommendation on non adobe alternatives?
Hello, I have heard that there may be some fonts in adobe fonts that have extra costs. Is that true? Can I be secure in letting people use anything they find in Adobe Fonts that we're licensed for <The title was renamed by moderator>

Hi guys,Does anyone knows if it is possible to active the opentype features of the King's Caslon family on InDesign? I am using the Adobe Fonts version and it is not working... I desperately need to use its opentype all small caps and oldstyle numerals! Thanks in advance for your help 🙂
My company's workflow has our designers sending InDesign documents to an automated computer that opens the files and generates a PDF to send to clients. Is there a way (through scripting, maybe?) to automate the sync/activation of Typekit/Adobe Fonts for this? Currently the machines simply fail the files for having inactive fonts. For performance purposes, we obviously don't want these automated computers (which each have their own licenses) to have to activate every font available in Typekit/Adobe Fonts, but rather just activate those needed for each document.
Hi, I am using an adobe font (Soleto) on my website. It is working great and I have a feature on my website where PDF's are generated for pages that can be downloaded. I need the Soleto font to be used in the PDF files as well. Typically this is done by uploading the TTF font file and using that in the PDF, but I am unable to download the font file. How can this be done?
Hi thereFor the past hour and a half I've been trying to purchase some fonts from adobe fonts. As far as I'm aware, I do not need a CC subscription to do this, just a free Adobe Account (see: Explore and buy fonts from marketplace | Adobe Fonts )I've found the font I want and clicked Buy now, but when I go to the checkout, I can't complete the order. I simply get a loading spinner, then nothing happens.I've tried for the past hour to contact support through the online chat but quite frankly it was abysmal, I was thrown around about 5 different support members, most of whom didn't seem to know that the marketplace even existed and told me I could only get fonts with a CC subscription (what a joke).Hopefully some adobe staff are here and available to give support as your email address (fontsupport@adobe.com) is no longer being used Thanks
Can you please let me know if standalone Typekit fonts will be available after Oct 2019.i do not see any update in the website related to this, but had received a communication on this much earlier.I have initiated process for creative cloud subscription, but till that is in place we would need support for Standalone TypeKit. can you please advice.
I've tried all the suggested troubleshooting steps and to no avail. Frankly, I’m getting quite frustrated since this is causing delayed deadlines. This is not only inconvenient, but it isn’t the first time this has happened. Usually one of the suggestions would work but it’s literally been 2 hours of trying and growing frustration. I’m thinking of just not using the service.I keep getting this pop up on the screen. Despite using the methods suggested, nothing has worked. I've even uninstalled the entire adobe cc suite and reinstalled it and absolutely nothing will work.
I activated two fonts. Neither are showing in my Active Fonts list. I've done all the touble shooting. I go back to the fonts and cannot deactivate in order to reactive. HELP
HiI am having font rendering problems of Akzindez Grotesk from Berthold in all major browsers on Windows machines. The rendering issue has to do with when the typeface is set to all caps and the size of the font is 13px or lower. I have found some suggestions that it has to do with the @11220649-face rule. Has anyone of you had the same issue and solved it?many thanks / Vigfus
Clearly I can no longer package fonts using my Creative Cloud subscription. However, I need to package specific fonts with my InDesign files so that I can share with a third party that will build templates (postcards, brochures, etc) for my company's use only. Where can I purchase these fonts or the licenses that will allow this?
Can anyone tell me why, when ADOBE updates, my fonts in Illustrator disappear and are no longer in Type Kit? I'm sick and tired of this happening, is there another reliable website I can download my missing fonts?I've just gotten a new computer after my other one crashed last week 😞 and I'm finding since I re-downloaded my AI and PS apps, there seems to be a lot of fonts missing on my forms and files???
Can anyone tell me which font this is?
Hello all, I have a user who uses the Adobe Creative suite. They got some fonts from Adobe and they see all the variations when using any of their Adobe programs. However in Word or PowerPoint they only see 5 of the 90 available options. Should Adobe fonts be accessible from other apps or do they only work when using the Adobe products? In Windows 10 i see them all installed just thought I'd see how they are supposed to work before digging to much on his system. Thanks.
I recently upgraded to macOS Catalina, and since then some fonts from Adobe Fonts (as well as Monotype Library Subscription) have not synced properly. While all of these fonts are usable in Adobe apps, other applications cannot display glyphs from some fonts at all, even though the typeface names are listed in the font menu. This affects Apple Pages and Keynote as well as some other third-party applications. Attached is a third-party app attempting to display Benton Sans Condensed Regular. Another weight of Benton Sans is similarly affected. I'm led to believe that Catalina simply does not handle non-native fonts properly in its current state (despite a recent supplemental update), or that it may have had to do with 64-bit code not being supported. Has anyone else experienced this issue since the update, and is there a workaround?
I need to send a complete INDESIGN file with the fonts. How to do with adobe fonts if the printer does not have the latest version (I can't vectorise fonts, the printer must make an English and Spanish version)
Basically, I'm using Adobe Fonts with Premiere and After Effects.Every time I relaunch Premiere (because I haven't been on AE yet on this project but the problem occurred with my precedent one aswell, which used AE), my text layers already created are not in the Adobe Font I chose (they are in some kind of default font). You can see on the two screenshots I attached, the first one is my text in the Adobe Font I chose but with Adobe Font disabled, and the second is when I enable Adobe Fonts (which make said fonts disappear). And basically every time I have this bug, I just disable Adobe Fonts in my CC Desktop app to make them available in Premiere. It makes no sense at all and sometimes it doesn't work. So I'd like to know if some of you already had this problem occur and how you addressed that. I already tried two chat sessions with support, used the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool, uninstalled everything, reboot, reinstalled, etcThe only "fix" I found was to close everythi
Does the font licensing provided by Adobe Fonts cover use in Adobe Spark?

I am trying to get to the bottom of what will happen come the 31st of December with regards to websites using Adobe Fonts, I understand that client sites will now require there own license/CC subscription to continue using fonts on their sites. However I want to understand what will actually happen on the 1st of January, will the fonts on their site stop working and default to the next in the stack? I need to clarify this with clients so they can calculate thier costs and options, will it only be a CC subscription that will work or will you be offering any options to just subscribe to Adobe Fonts.I also planned to use fonts on multiple internal sites, each on their own domain, and I am interested how this will work, and how the distinction will be able to be made between what is one of my "other" sites and a clients site? Any help on this matter would be appreciated! Thanks And
