Hello, I implemented a zoom in and out in javascript on a course to help users with varying degrees of Chrome settings they have since Captivate's HTML scaling screws up some of our imagery. Example for scale up to 120%:var scale = 'scale(1.20)';document.body.style.webkitTransform = scale; This transforms (zoom for Chrome) the webkit object in play to the scale in the variable. However, as soon as the course is published to Prime, the ModulePlayer stays static to the default size and my scripting only affects the content within. Note: this works in HTML output for Captivate, just not in Prime. Does anyone have any scripting they used to adjust the actual player size since Adobe's only setting is full screen? I also reached out to their support for input. Thanks!
Hi, I want to quote some material from one of the modules in the online Victim Assistance Training I'm taking. Does anyone know who authored these or the format I would use in my citation?
Hello, I'm in the process of creating a learning program for my organization and all of my publish courses are not showing up in my catalog so that I can add them to the program. Is there something I need to enable? I have 34 courses in total created and I'm only seeing 10 of them in the catalog when I'm under the learning programs tab.
Are there times in your training environment when you must drive learners through training programs that stretch over weeks or months? To handle this kind of requirement, Adobe Captivate Prime supports the construct of a Learning Program. A Learning Program is made up of a sequence of Courses that in turn comprise self-paced modules, submissions, ILTs, and Virtual Classrooms. E.g. An on-boarding program for a batch of fresh graduates that your organization has just hired. In this use case, you now have a cohort of employees that must go through a long program together. The attached document addresses how gamification within a Learning Program is an effective way to motivate and drive a cohort of learners. While Captivate Prime offers gamification at the account level, in cases such as the above, implementing it within a Learning Program makes it relevant to that cohort only and results in effective training and better results. You can use gamification in a Learnin
Hi, I have created a course, in Captivate 2019, that has 14 separate modules. I've uploaded each of the modules into the Content Library in Prime, created a course in Courses, and added all 14 modules to the course. So far, so good. Each course has a question pool of around 10 questions, of which each learner will take two. This means that overall, each learner will answer 28 questions. The overall pass mark for the course as a whole is 22/28. It doesn't matter where the learner scores their 22 points, so there isn't a pass or fail for each module. So I would like to collect the learner's score from each module (0/2, 1/2 or 2/2) and add that to an overall score to determine, after all 14 modules, whether they passed or failed. My question is, how do I set this up in Prime? Thank you.
Is it possible to add learners to courses after the course has been completed?
Does anyone know how to get your elearning courses accredited? Thanks.
Hello everyone!Anybody have Prime integrated with Workday? If so, a question for you!We are planning to integrate user data from our new Workday HRIS into Captivate Prime. As we begin this process with our internal HRIS admin, I have a question I can't seem to find an answer on. Looking thru the guides and onboarding docs, I can't seem to find any information on it.So, here is my question. After integration of user data from Workday, will a change in a user's email in Workday create a new user in Prime or will it update the current user that email was update? I know Prime uses email ID as its primary identifier for a user. Is there another attribute during the data communication that is used to link user data?Lets say for example, Susy Smith gets married and her name changes in her email. So, in Workday, her email is updated to reflect the new name. Does this automatically sync correctly to Prime or does Prime see the new email as a new user and create a whole new account (and deleting
Does Captive Prime offer the ability to sell content directly in the application? And could it be used as the online foundation of an e-learning business?
We have a scenario to track professional licenses like Designers, architectures and engineering folks for different states in LMS, track them and notify for the due dates to maintain the credits to retain it. Does any one have any recommendation?
Hello Prime experts! I’m trying to figure out if my company can consolidate software applications like Showpad, Qstream, Cvent, and Allego and I was wondering if anyone has any experience using Adobe CP and their Prime LMS for sales enablement and/or event management? I know that Prime offers a Salesforce connector and I understand how the authoring tool can leveraged as an effective sales training tool but what about other aspects such as: · Workflow Management· Membership Management· Event Calendars· Email Marketing· Custom Event sites· Event Marketing· Register through mobile· Event Reporting· &
One of my advocates is trying to login after she registered, she is getting this response..."No user found for the given adobeld email in this account. PLease link your adobeld to your prime account before logging in. accountld=65701" Any suggestions?
Hello everyone-- I am relatively new to Captivate Prime. My company is currently testing the first learning program I created (comprised of three courses). I assigned the learners to the learning program, and all learners have completed the program. We have noticed that when the learners view the Catalog, while they can see their learning program, they do not see the individual courses. However, I can: In that top row, the "Remittance and Contribution Training" is the Learning Program, which is comprised of "Introduction to Contribution Processing," "Introduction to Rate Tables" and "LMS Assessment - Round One Survery". So my catalog view shows the learning program and the courses within that learning program individually, which I would expect. But the learners who are enrolled in the Learning program, can only see the Learning Program in the default catalog and not the courses. Is this a quirk of the fact that I, as Admin, enrolled learners in a pro
Hello, We are currently using learning plans to automatically assign training to our employees when hired (based on position), wondering why I am not able to add in-class "Classroom" trianings to learing plans? When I do this, it does not allow them to select a date and time for the classroom session.
Hello, I am creating some reports to share to managers and would like to keep it as simple as possible. I need a report that when downloaded doesn't have a lot of junk added to it. Right now, I am deleting alot of columns to organize the report. Is there a way to create a report that just shows required training and its' status?
Hello Captivate Prime community, I'm currently working on integrating some eLearnings with the xAPI tracking functionality of the Captivate Prime LMS. I typically use Storyline Articulate 360 to develop the modules and export them with a SCORM 2004 wrapper. I'm trying to test sending xAPI statements through Captivate Prime's integration feature, but am at a loss with the current tutorial available to me. I have set up the Application, as well as Application ID and Secret, however I am getting some errors when testing the module in relation to the URL. The tutorial tells me to but in a throw away URL, however it feels like this shouldn't be the case. I tried to use my companies domain URL in place, but this didn't work either. While working with xAPI LRS' in the past, each system tends to generate a URL for me to send the xAPI data to. Could someone clarify what i'm doing wrong, or what I should be doing instead?
I am signed up for a course. Every time I try to log in with link provided I receive this message:No user found for the given adobeId email in this account. Please link your adobeId to your prime account before logging in. accountId= 49719

I've been driving myself crazy trying to figure out how to change the format for date variables in email templates. For example, the [CourseCompletionDate] variable shows up in the email formatted like "Sat Nov 30 2019". Is there way to change the format to "November 30, 2019"? what about "11/30/2019"?
HiI have resource files for each course I have created that are available to download before the course is started. However, once the course is started the learner cannot go back to the course title page to access the resource file? Why could this be? Can a user not access resources during a course?
A Job Aid is a type of just-in-time learning. It works as a quick reference material, for example, a checklist or a cheat sheet. Job Aids are available as Learning Objects in Adobe Captivate Prime to assist learners in their roles. To download a Job Aid, follow the steps below: Log in as a Learner and navigate to Catalog. When the Catalog opens, select Job Aids. If you know the Catalog in which the Job Aid appears, you may refine your search by selecting a Catalog. You may also further narrow your search by selecting Skills, Tags and Status associated with the Job Aid that you are looking for. You can scroll through the list of Job Aids or you can search for a specific one in the search bar. You can also sort them alphabetically/according to publishing date/course effectiveness. You can switch between a List view and a Grid view of the Job Aids. Choose the option that is more suitable for you to glance the Job Aids. When you find the Job Aid you want, click on Download.
In any organization, it is necessary to update training materials regularly and keep them relevant for the learners. An author can re-evaluate, revamp, and update courses periodically that are already published in Captivate Prime. To update a module, follow the steps below: Log in as an Author and open the Content Library. Select the module that you want to update. To modify the content of the module, on the upper-right corner of the screen, click Edit. Note:You must make changes by uploading the same type of content that was originally used to create the module. For example, if the module was created using non-interactive content like MP4, PDF, or PPT, you must update the module using similar type of content only. You cannot upload an Interactive content in a Non Interactive module and vice-versa. After uploading the new content, click Save. After you click Save, the new content is available in the library. Once the updated content is uploaded, the version of the module in
Does anyone else have any issues when adding a hyperlink to a course into an email using the link button feature in prime? It's getting difficult to communicate/market courses to learners without this functionality working properly. We've done a lot of tests internally and a lot of times the direct course link will take us to our Author or Admin pages. For learners, it will take them to the Learner Dashboard.Sometimes, it does work properly, but you have to have LMS open in a browser already. Most of the time, users will not already have the LMS open...We've tried hyperlinking from Author vs. Admin and chrome vs. IE and have found similar results from both. Our workaround has been to add hyperlinks into the announcements via the announcement tool so the user is already in the LMS, but it's not always realistic to be constantly using the announcement tool. Any tips on this would be greatly apprecaited!! *Note-our org uses single sign on
Is there a way to create a checklist for our employees that shows the required training they need to complete? I would like this to appear on their homepage in Captivate Prime.
One of the benefits of Adobe Captivate is that you can develop and publish eLearning courses faster. And that includes creating SCORM-compliant courses. Adobe Captivate's features allow simple SCORM activities like completion status, quiz results, and scoring. See this document for more information on the LMS options. Set Reporting Features After you create a course, here are the steps to create a SCORM package. Follow the steps below: Click Edit > Preferences. In Preferences, you can see a list of options. The main area to focus on is Reporting.
