I have a course in Captivate Prime with two modules. The first module is an "Activity" module that just enables the learner to access a PDF they must read before taking a quiz in the second module. Both of these modules were built in Captivate 9 with the latest update. If the learner fails the quiz in the second module and they exit the course, and then return and try to retake the second module (the quiz), the module fails to load. All they get is a white page the same size as module. I can't figure out the problem. I have the quiz module set to never send the restore data. That should cause the module to reload fresh each time.In this case, you can't restart that second module because it just fails to load.Anyone have any ideas?
On the course settings page I am trying to drag/drop multiple PDF files to upload as Resources to the course. Each time I attempt the drag/drop, the ACP window closes. I had to upload the files one by one. And, even with that process/(those steps); once the PDF is uploaded I have to refresh the window, after Saving, to get the "click to upload" button to re-appear.
I am having issues where my Virtual Classroom modules are not working. When ever i create one and then preview it (or view on a published module) I get the following error message: Virtual Classroom ModuleNo session details have been updated. When creating I added everything that was needed. Anyone else run into this issue or have a suggestion on what might be going on?Thanks,Ash
I have a module called Overcoming Price Objections Pre-Assessment. It is a quiz element I created in Adobe Captivate 9 (trial version). the module sits in my draft course called Copy3_Master Electronics Selling Philosophy. For the past two business days I have not been able to preview the module as a learner. Each time I attempt to do so it times out.
Hi,I am a trial user of Cptivate 9 and Captivate Prime in Japan. As some of you discussed here, I can not upload module from 9 to Prime. Even it is about 4MB.Furthermore, I also can not create courses containing quiz module. When I upload quiz module, system appears like it accepted uploading. Then when I open course creating page, the quiz module desappear. Then I check back module libray, there is no quiz module. Is it just a specification of trial version? Please advise. よろしくおねがいします。
I'm trying to go through the entire sample course to get an idea how to build my own. But I cannot get past this module."There is a sample course in the platform called Business Communications (Sample Course). It will not move beyond module three when I'm signed in as a Learner."
I do not have the Adobe suite of applications, examples: Adobe Captivate or Presenter. Thus, I built a short pre-assessment quiz using Microsoft PowerPoint 2013 Office Mix. But, once it was loaded into Adobe Prime the interactivity does not work. Are there any fixes for this?
Within the next several days, I’ll need to upload additional users to our Adobe Captivate Prime LMS. At present, 150 users have been added to our LMS, and I have a major question… If my 150 existing users are NOT included in the NEW csv file that I will upload, will they be removed from the LMS, or will they remain?
I created a course with one classroom module and published it, but cannot add it to a catalog.Thank you
By default it seems Prime makes the course due ten years from the date it is assigned. How do we set that to a more reasonable time?
I loaded several WMF images into Captivate 7 and I cannot figure out how to make the images not be transparent. Help!
What is the best way to make a slide stop before moving on to the following one?
At this early point in our use of Prime, I have a number of courses published. All of them appear on the LMS home page. I don't want every course in the catalog to appear on the home page as recommended. This just confuses my user population. So what controls the courses that appear in that "recommended" area on the home page and how do I configure the system so they don't show up?
We are configuring our first instance of Cap Prime. I have a list of already certified inspectors in the LMS. At this early stage, the LMS has no information other than the list of names and the group to which they belong. The LMS contains no data about existing certifications by my current group of inspectors. If I set up a series of courses and a learning plan that will be automatically assigned to NEW inspectors, what will happen to my list of existing inspectors? Will they all suddenly be assigned that same training plan?Is there any way to override the LMS to record the certification status of existing inspectors that we want to now manage with Cap Prime or will all inspectors be treated as if they are all new and must complete the certification training (that they completed prior to implementation of the LMS?).
Hello,Can anyone verify if Adobe Captivate Prime works with the Shibboleth SSO? I believe Shibboleth supports SAML 2.0 so I imagine it would. Additionally, who do I need to contact at Adobe in order to start this process? We recently purchased 40 licenses and I was hoping to take the next steps. Thanks - Noah
I recently published a captivate 8 software simulation and wanted to add it as a module on Prime. I published it as a .zip, but when I go into prime to upload it, the upload progress stays at 0%.
How do I create a report that tells me which courses a specific user has completed? I don't want the 'statistics' or count of how many courses a user has taken. I want to be able to pull open a report for a user and see all the courses (by name) that the user has completed. Please let me know.ThanksJen
Dear Adobe Captivate Prime Team,Is there any chance to have an Arabic version of the system in place? We are happy to offer the needed quality translation at no cost, and in fact had already things such as the standard email templates going out translated, and had an Arabic User Manual developed for the system. We would be happy to provide these along with remaining keywords used throughout the system in Arabic for you to develop into an Arabic version. Best regards, Hala Alturki
I've been able to upload a list of users with a CSV file.I'd also like to create a self-registration link to add other employees. What happens in the future when I want to upload another CSV file?Should that new CSV file include anyone who self-registered? Or will those who self-registered be treated differently?I was thinking that a new CSV upload, since this can be done automatically, would define the current list of learners in my organization (including removing inactive employees by excluding them from the CSV).Anyone know how this would work?- Pete
If I understand how this works we can have any fields we like in our CSV file so long as we have the 4 mandatory fields. What happens in the future if we decide we need to add some new fields? For example, I was very cautious with what fields I included in my first CSV file. I only had two extra fields. But I can see how I might want to add other fields in the future to help organize users. Can I do that without breaking something or is this forbidden at this point?- Pete
Last month I added 18 users to my Cap Prime account. I used a CSV file that included the learner manager's email account to identify the supervisor. No problem even though the senior most manager was NOT listed as a Captivate user, only his email account was added as the supervisor of a manager.Today, (after the Feb 2016 release of Prime) I can't add a new user because the person's manager isn't already in the system. However, my original CSV file listed the same manager (using his email account) as the supervisor of a manager over everyone else on the CSV file.So what has changed? And what do we do when we want to add someone who doesn't have a supervisor? Like the CEO of the company? At some point, we have to have the ability to add someone who doesn't have a supervisor.Am I missing something obvious?
Urgent help needed.
I am having problems with the Adobe Captivate iPad app hanging up (the screen becomes frozen with the loading icon spinning) when I try to exit a module. This forces the user to quit the app and restart. Has anyone else had this issue or have any solutions?
Hi, allI have designed a responsive module in Captivate 9, with four mobile breaking points (tablet portrait and landscape; the same for phones). All previews look normal (everything fits onto the slide in all orientations) but when I publish in Prime and view on an iPhone, the portrait view looks like this. Is the content window supposed to be that small (it means the user has to scroll up and down to see all the content)? Thanks in advance for your help,Liesl
I found out that when Learners sign up and log in to their Course Page, they are having the Adobe Captivate Prime video playing and the tutorials displayed. Is there a way to disable these to show, mind me that the videos and tutorials are great, but the learners really don't need them.Thank you.
