v 9 doesn't seem to actually be on my computer, but it shows up in the hub. The dot selector on v9 doesn't allow you to uninstall. It seems like there may be an xml doc somewhere or something that has kept a link to it, but I just went through an adobe support person and we attempted to remove it and couldn't find anything to remove. Any thoughts?
Hello,I need to export a large quantity of video files and need to trim the beginning of each one (in my case 5 sec).I'd like to create a preset for not doing this individually and apply it for once to all the files, but it seems impossible... Thank you everyone!Max
I am using media encoder to render my after effects projects and I realised it is using 50% of my RAM and procesor. My specs are: I9 8950HK, 32gb of 2666Mhz Ram, gtx 1080 mobile and 1tb NvMe. What are the best settings I should use for after effects to use 90-100% of the avalabile power? [Moving from generic Start/Help forum to the specific Program forum... Hi, I'm starting a HDR project, and I'm having issues transcoding a H.264 video to a DNxHR 444 video (using MXF as container). The problem is that the resulting video looks very different from the source file, the colors are messed up, sometimes over saturated, others it looks very dark. The source file looks as it should. I compared them using VLC after transcoding, and the difference is evident. The source is a MP4 file, H.264 10 bits, main 10, level 5, 4:2:0, HDR, UHD, 23,976 fps. The resulting file after transcoding is a MXF file, transcoded directly from the source file using Adobe Media Encoder 2020, using DNxHR RGB 444 10 bits profile, with render at maximum depth and quality enabled. Mediainfo shows the correct info (correct profile, 10 bits, CBR with the right fps, etc).I did some more troubleshooting and opened the source file with FFprobe (command line), and did the same with the resulting MXF DNxHR 444 file. The output says that the source file is BT2020 and that the DNxHR f
Using Media Encoder, a client has asked me to export a project 'IMX30, 625/50 30mbps 16:9 in a quicktime wrapper'. So, it's a .mov but using an IMX codec. Is this possible?
Hello, Thanks in advance to anyone who can offer advise here. Cloud version of Media Encoder, noticed the option under PREFERENCES for RENDERER is greyed out and defaulted to software. This HP Z820 running Windows 10 has three Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti GPUs installed with the latest drivers installed. I just reinstalled the latest drivers to eliminate a bad install. I assume the 1080 Ti is more than enough for the GPU requirements? Adobe Photoshop preferences allows for GPU hardware acceleration to be set to maximum for GPU and works fine. Any ideas?
My file has 4 channels and when I export it oly lets me do two channel output.
I would like to export a .avi file created in After Effects via Media Encoder as a 1080p Mp4. So far it wont let me do anything but small lo res movies. No joy here. What am i missing?
Hi. I mastered a film UHD DNxHR 12bit RGB in an MXFOP1a wrapper. This file passed QC. One of my deliverables is a UHD ProResHQ MOV which I made in Media Encoder 2019 on a Windows machine. It failed QC because the black levels bumped down to -5mV. It was a small enough difference that I couldn't see on the hardware scope without zooming in. Also the SMPTE bars & gamma appeared identical. But pure black is down at -5mV.(This is not a full range/video levels issue, -5mV is tiny.)Oddly, if I make an 1080 HD ProRes in MediaEncoder from this same file, there's no issue, black at 0mV.To test if the problem was the input codec I made mezzanine files DNxHR 10bit YUV & Cineform but the resulting UHD PR HQ has same -5mV issue. If I turn off "Render at Maximum Depth" the black levels issue goes away, black is at 0mV, but cannot use this file because the quality is reduced (visible noise/banding)Upgraded to Media Encoder 2020 & results are same. Then I tried this on a MacOS Media Encoder &

Media Encoder 14.0.1 is now available for download from the Creative Cloud desktop app. This update includes the fix for the issue wherein Media Encoder was crashing when a sequence was exported with ProRes media and an embedded LUT from ARRI cameras. Here is a list of fixed issues in Media Encoder version 14.0.1.
Hey guys,I've been wondering why my Media Encoder/Premiere Pro is using only my CPU to render. I'm running an i9 9900k and an RTX 2080 Super and as soon as I click on render, I see that GPU stays at it's default percent value and my CPU sky rockets up to 100%.It's still fast obviously, but I don't get why it's not using my GPU instead. Project settings and everything are set to CUDA, but none of it seems to do anything.Edit: I'm running CC 2018.If you have any Idea on why that might be happening, let me know!
I am trying to export an After Effects composition through Media Encoder to get an H.264 file. My file is 10,160x60. When I try to render it in Media Encoder the file reverts to 4,096x60 and I can't change it. Does anyone have any solutions? Working on Windows 10, After Effects CC 2019.

Hello, I contact you for a concern of use.Everything works perfectly with a PremierePro project, but when I want to use an After Effect project, it doesn't work ... When opening from Adobe Media Encoder software, a dialog box opens asking to choose a composition present in the project. But I have not found anywhere on the internet, how to retrieve this list, and specify the composition we want, from the manifest sent to the 'AME WebService Console'. Can you give me all the details to solve this problem? Thank you.
Hello,I would like to continue using Media Encoder 2020 trial version. It was loading but didn't launch. I download it just yesterday, and it was work. Premiere and After Effects or other creative apps still, work correctly but Media Encoder didn't open. I also tried to launch After Effects and then queue something to AME, but its never launch. I tried to uninstall and install it again, check the updates but it didn't work. Also, I tried to do some solving solutions like deleting the X19zbGN..... file in SLCache folder ETC. but still, it didn't launch. Do you have any suggestions?
I was wondering if I can make a DVD looping video with Adobe Encoder? Thanks,
We're having a problem with Encoder not encoding the whole file when exported from Media Composer. This seems to happen every once in a while and then solves itself without any intervention. So, we're exporting quicktime movs to be converted to h.264 mp4 and for some Encoder will arbitrarily leave out portions of the video. Has anyone else had this happen and what was the fix?
I installed Media encoder 2020 hoping that Adobe fixed the things that broke it for me when I "upgraded" to 2019. ...but all the same exact problems are there.I tried to do and "add to queue" from Premiere 2020. Media encoder took forever to open... then it took forever to IMPORT the Premiere project... literally longer than it would take to export from Premiere.... then it crashed. Premier 2020 also had a bunch of crashes... so I switched back to Premier 2019 because I have work to do and trouble shooting one application is enough. Then I opened Media encoder again by itself. Again, forever to open. Then I got a message that said 'The last time you opened Media Encoder it unexpectedly quit while re-opening windows. Do you want to open them again" and gave me the option to open them or cancel. But it was totally non responsive. Force quit... open again... same message same non responsive beach ball.....but the message vanished... &n
After years of using AME in conjunction with Premiere Pro, ir juar atopped working. The title screen comes up, but then goes away. Abobe cleaner seems to have disappeared for 5.5 products. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the whole production suite - even to a different hard drve - same result. [Moving from generic Start/Help forum to the specific Program forum... Hi Encoders,I have a question about the user presets and map structure in Adobe Media Encoder. I work for a company that has more than 100 digital screens with each different resolution. Therefore, I made for each screen a different Preset with bitrate, resolution, custom naming, ingest settings etc. I put everything in a map structure so I can easily find the right screen preset that I need at that moment. It was quiet the job to create all these. Because u need an ingest preset and an encoding preset. I made more than 200 Ingest/Encoding presets. But I also want to share these with my colleague’s, so I exported all the presets. To install the presets, I needed to relink each ingest settings to the right encoding, output source etc. But also made all the map structures. What already was allot of work to do for 4 colleagues. Now we updated our media encoder and everything is gone again. The presets, the map structure the ingest settings. We only have the exported files. But to
I'm using Adobe Premiere Pro 2020 to postprocess a lot of clips. The rendering is done within AME 2020. It is a very long list of jobs to do. When I start rendering, AME renders the file on top oft the list but the fails for all the other ones. The error is "Reading from source not possible" (In german: Lesen von der Quelle nicht möglich. Prüfen Sie, ob diese verschoben oder gelöscht wurde.)When I close and reopen AME and reset the failed files, it will again render the top file (without any change in the settings). The next ones fail.I've already tried to log off the cloud and log in again, but this didn't help. Same when started AME as administrator.Any ideas?
I can't use Encoder 2020. To many files it won't take/convert. Encoder used to be that program that could fix anything. Encoder 2020 feels like it got it's arms cut off. I have reinstalled 2019.
I have the following problem: I want to export audio only from my Premiere Pro CS6 project(a feature length documentary). The options I want to use areAudiocodec: UncompressedSamplerate: 48.000 HzChannels: 5.1Sample Size: 24 Bit After I export the file to Media Encoder it immediately stops with "Unknown Error".If I change the Sample Size from 24 to 16 Bit it worls fine. Any idea where the problem could be?
