I need to export a project and after waiting 5 hours, just as it is about to finish, the program says it is not responding. What should I do?
Hey guys, I've updated to media encoder 14.5 from 14.4 yesterday and experienced frustratingly long rendering times (6-7 times longer than usual) that forced me to downgrade back to 14.4. I am using YT 1080p settings with max render quality on CUDA renderer. Am I the only one or is this a bug?
I have installed AME 2021 version 15.0 > IT DOES NOT WORK WITH AEF 2021 >> PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP !!!!!!
I'm trying to render a timeline that is extremely long (about 8 days) H.264 VBR, 1 pass, target 10 mbps. I immediately get this error. Software only rendering does not fix it.
Do I need to install Quicktime to use the Photo JPEG codec? It is missing from my list of options when I try to export to Quicktime format.I am on Windows 10.Thanks in advance, rgames
I'm following all the instructions (H.264), but to no avail. How do I export a true MP4?
I created an After Effects composition in dynamic link in a Premiere project.I exported the project and everything is OK. Next, I changed a text in the Afetr Effects composition, saved both the AE and the Premiere projects. The modified text appeared correctly in my Premeire timeline. But when I exported the Premiere project, the video file has been encoded with the old version of the AE composition and not the modified one. I tried several times with the same result. I had to restart my computer to be able to encode the latest version of the timeline. This problem happened several times in different projects. Would anybody have an idea of the reason? Thanks a lot
Hello, I'm running OS X El Capitan and for a few weeks, Media encoder has stopped working properly: the program starts correctly, but does not add items to the queue when exporting from After effects. I uninstalled Media Encoder and now I cannot install any Media encoder. 2018 version does not appear as an option to install anywhere (neither in the Adobe Creative Cloud app nor on the Adobe website) and later versions are not compatible with my OS.Any idea how I can install Media Encoder 2018?
Hello there. I'm working on numerous After Effects projects on my new PC. The specs are Ryzen 7 5800x and an RTX 3070. For some reason, media encoder does not use the 3070 to video encode. Any help with this? I've tried everything with enabling hardware encoding in the output settings.
Hi everyone, Media Encoder stopped recognizing my queue about two weeks ago. I thought there might be an update that would fix the issue, however, it still persists. Thus far, I haven't found any solution online, but it seems this issue is recurring. Does anyone have an idea for a fix? Thanks in advance! Cheers,Julia
I make music videos in After Effects, with 1 audio track as the only source of sound. This audio track has no clipping, as it has already been mastered within my audio program. It is not clipping within AE, and it sounds fine in the live preview. However, when I export using AME, there is consistently a sound as if the audio is clipping in specific parts of the audio (usually it happens during the parts of the track that I have applied an EQ filter). However, if I export directly from AE, the file exports with perfect audio, just as it sounds within the live preview.I have tested this using direct WAV export, using matching frequency and bitrate settings, etc. Nothing I did could prevent AME from introducing an audio glitch.
I made a video of 1080p of length 20 minutes.for my submission it is allowed that the maximum file size is 100MBI tried to decrease the file size by lowering the bitrate it then the video is awful.what can i do
Hello, I've been expereincing issues with Media Encoder for the past 4 months now where it continues to crash upon start up of the app whether from the dock on my Mac or when I try to export from Ae or Pr into Media Encoder through dynamic link. I am on a iMac Pro witu Big Sur macOS. Anyone has expereinced this same issue and figured out how to resolve? I've tried countless times by uninstalling and reinstallling the app and used Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool with no luck. Please advise.
could not read from the source. please check if it has moved or been deleted. when opening file from character animation to AME
I am flat out losing patience with Adobe! After multiple and consistent issues with the Creative Cloud apps on a previous laptop, I deliberately only loaded Acrobat when I got a new computer. This past weekend, circumstances required I explore a video editing app, so I installed Premiere Pro (which simultaneously installed Media Encoder). Immediately, there were problems - no matter how many settings changes I made, I could not get Premiere Pro audio to play through the system selected speaker. Changing the speaker via Premier Pro and/or Windows 10 had no effect, the app would no play through the connected Bluetooth speaker or a USB connected headset, only the computer's onboard speakers. Now, this morning, HBO Max kept stopping, seemingly whenever I received a notification. I changed browsers, turned off notifications. Just now, I tried playing Amazon Music and it sputtered and stuttered whenever a notification arrived before finally no sound at all. While typing th
Hi everyone, Just spotted when I'm using premiere pro to export a video by h.264 with SRT through Media Encoder the SRT black box background alway changes and is a lighter black. When I export directly from premiere, not using Media Encoder it's fine. Does anyone know why Media Encoder causes the subtitle box to change? Thanks,
Premiere Pro started a huge media encoder queu last night when I imported a bunch of footage. ME worked on it as I slept. About half the jobs FAILED because... my hard drive filled up :-/. How do I retry the ingest on all the clips that failed overnight? I still have the queu up in Media Encoder. If I can't do that how do I, from within Premiere Pro, figure which clips still need to be run through Media Encoder and then order it to do so again? Thanks.
Once my project is finished within AE, I decide to render it usig media encore however, when i star the rendering process it stalls at "READING XMP" and does not advance or do anithing, i need help, my work depends on this!
It's garbage. i can attest to it.An error that has plagued us for months upon months now, and Adobe has choose to ignore it. I know of multiple people contacting support directly, and months later, guess what. The issue is still there. Why are we paying for this? Can we get discounts for discounted services? Adobe? Care to comment? In regards to the "Encoding Failed Component: H.264 of type Exporter Selector: 9 Error code: 3" which has been an issue since Oct. 2020, can be remedied easily. Instead of Adobe doing their due dilegence, I have a good work around that seems to help.Just got a brand new computer. i9x-10980x with 3080 and 64GB of ddr4. Everything is on the same drive and it's a SSD.Rendered my first video and WALA, got the error. Reduced my Media encoder version to 14.5 and it has rendered 2 3GB + videos perfectly.ADOBE! We have to create workarounds for a program we pay 20+ dollars a month for! If one of my clients had an issue with something i gave them, say in October of 202
I was using Premiere 2020 and I right clicked on footage and said make proxy. It attempted to open Media Encoder 2020 and then Encoder crashed. And now it refuses to open without crashing. Restarted my computer. Then tried opening encoder from scratch and it crashes every time i try to open it. "Sorry, an error occurred. An error report has been generated. Click send report to help us analyze the cause of the problem and explore solutions." I cant even read the report because its a dmp file whatever that is. Do I have to drop that into a browser to read what it says? Premiere is opening just fine.
I've been having an Media Encoder and Premiere issue where every few exports, small scratch-like glitch lines flash on the final video output (they don't appear on the timeline, but I can see them in the preview during export and in the final file). They come on and off throughout the video (see image below).I'm working on a Mac (Os X El Capitan 10.11.16) using 4k footage on a 1080 sequence, exporting 1080p. Exports are H.264 and the glitches occur both with "Match Source - High Bitrate" and "YouTube 1080p". Both Premiere and Media Encoder are up to date version wise. Is there a solution to this other than crossing my fingers? Thanks, Kenzie
Hey guys!So I'm in a bit of a situation here and it's quite annoying. I have no idea if it's Media Encoder or After Effects who's playing with my nerves here, but something happens when AME is rendering my AE composition because the color is wrong when I'm playing it with QuickTime (or any other video player).I have tried to export the video using AE, which bring the color closer to the original, but it's still off no matter what Color Management settings I'm using. I have tried different video formats and the color changes in each and every one of them. I've played with the export settings inside AME and I've synced my settings using Bridge. You can see in the screenshot below, the original color is accurate in AE (down) and AME before export (up left), but the final result is off when played with QuickTime (up right). It's curious that even the export preview (thumbnail) AME shows while rendering the video appears to have the accurate color. Please help!Edit: I've noticed that when I'
I have an MXF file on a Sony XDCam disc that has captioning embedded into the file. I'm using AME to transcode the file and also create an scenarist scc file to send to a local TV station. The file is being created without an issue, but the timecode on the scc file is off by about 45 seconds. In watching the original file on a Sony XDCam disc, the first captioning on screen appears at approx timecode 09:46:54;00, but the scc file created through encoder has the first timecode as 09:47:28;25. Both source and scc file at drop frame. Does anyone have an idea why the timecode is different? Thanks,Brad
Just tried to render from AE to AME and getting the same endless "Connecting to Dynamic Link Server", and never start rendering!
