I have a 4K timeline using the S-Log 3 LUT and some other minor color corrections, and when I send it over to Media Encoder the LUT is being dropped and the final video looks just like it did coming straight out of the camera. Has anyone else experienced this issue? And what was the fix?
For 2 years I worked with a Win7/i5-337U/6GBddr3/GeForce GT730M Notebook, not updated drivers/software, with rendering 10 to 20 hours in my projects (videos from canon T5i, .mov) and never had this problem.I bought it, 3 weeks ago, a new notebook (Clevo Notebook Win 10/i7-7700HQ/16GBddr4/GeForce GTX 1060), all updated drivers, all updated adobe software and I'm having memory leak problems with the same type of projects, 40min video from canon T5i, .mov, with color correction, render to mp4 h 264.I searched here in the forum and saw recommendations, change performance for memory, increase virtual memory for 40 gigas... and the problems continue. Is there any definitive solution?
That is not sense, You cannot attached the proxi because the audio does'nt match, even if I tried to match the 8 channels audio....ridicolous! I need to download Da Vinci to do that.
Hi there,i'm stuck with the following issue:I want AME to encode proxies. After I selected the clips in PP and imported them into AME they show up in the queue as they should.Everything works like it should - only problem: AME renders out the first file and then just stops. This way i would have to select each file of the queue one after another to let AME encode them. I just want it to encode the whole queue..I am not a very advanced user of AME, maybe someone knows what's wrong for me? I am using Premiere Pro CC2017 and the Media Encoder CC 2017.Help would be so great! Thanks!
Hi, when we try to ingest multiple clips of a P2 card and select "stitch clips", the order of clips gets messed up. I read this article: Learn about & get started using Adobe Media Encoder - here I am told that the order can be changed by drag & drop. This is not a real option with 50-100 clips on single card. Our editors rely on the order, which should be chronological (clip's creation timestamp). With Prelude, this was never an issue, so I hope there's also a way to accomplish that with AME, too. Thanks.
Ideally, I would like to import three videos into the Adobe Media Encoder for re-encoding and merge them together into only one resulting video file. Is this possible?
Hi,I just found a great transition here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_RXqO6qFgQAfter I used it, everything looked nice till I tried render it with Media Encoder, I get every time render error.Basically I use .h264 codec, this time I tried lots of other, but I got same result.I found out, that Offset effect is the problem, if I turn it off, my render complete, but without Offset it looks bad. Also if I render inside AE, it gives no error, but there is no .h264 option anymore. Any idea? Thanks!Gábor
Hi all,This as happened twice over the last couple of months. I try to open Adobe Media Encoder and I get "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000142)". Linked to this, After Effects won't open. It appears in the Task Manager briefly but then disappears.Anyone come across this? Last time I could only fix it with a complete drive format and reinstally of windows. Having only done that four weeks ago, I'd rather not go through it all again!I've already tried the Adobe Cleaner and fresh reinstall. Video drivers, Adobe software and Windows 10 64bit are all up to date. Thanks for any help in advance.
It worked yesterday, today I'm trying to export 30 seconds of 3840x2160p 29.97 fps of film and the encoder stops encoding after 5 seconds. The program still works fine, like I can change the settings, pause and stop the export, but the progress bar stops moving and the timer for time encoding and time remaining stop. I then hit stop and the program crashes. I just wanna ask if there is a way to drastically reduce the size of the files that encoder produces when transcoding video files for dvd authoring, such as the m2v file (mpeg2).The original mp4 file weighs around 750mb while the transcoded m2v file goes up to 3.5gb and also reduces the quality of the video, of which I seek to avoid as well.Any suggestions?
My project uses material shot with a JVC GY-HM750 as a.MOV wrapper in Sony XDCAM-EX at 1080 interlaced and at 29.97 frames per second Drop Frame. My project settings are 1080i, upper field first. When I use Encore to create DVDs, they apope4ar somewhat pixelated, as though at half resolution when watched on any screen. Am I doing something wrong in the encoding process. Does anyone4 else have this workflow and if so, what Media Encoder settings do you use?Thank you
Hi,I was trying AME scripting in AME 2015, the script is creating BridgeTalk to AME for rendering AfterEffects project and it works perfectly. My script is below. So I'd like to update AME version to 2017, I confirmed API changes and I noticed Encoder object lost encodeDL function in AME 2017.When I checked forum here, I found this discussion https://forums.adobe.com/message/9433816#9433816 and understood I can use addCompToBatch function.Okay, my question is:- How can I pass frame rate and output frame size?I want to pass a lot of combination of those, so it is not reasonable that I prepare a lot of presets for all combinations I want before scripting. One option is, I will make epr file dynamically. Is that reasonable? or somebody has idea?If I can pass AE composition id to AME for assigning rendering target as encodeDL function, it is good to me.Thanks,Hirofunction main(masterProjectPath, presetId, projectItemGuId, outputPath, priority, preview_width, preview_height) { var
My company uses Windows 7 Enterprise and all CC applications work great except for Media Encoder - it will not launch. It gives the following error message: A check online for a solution yields nothing. Does anybody have suggestions for this problem? Thanks,Gordon Miller
I'm trying to convert an audio file to SWF for embedding into a PDF and the preset is missing. All my Adobe apps were downloaded last week and are running on a machine bought just a few days before that.Any ideas? Thanks
Hey folks.I'm kind of at the end of my rope here. I exported some files off my iPhone (taken in Filmic Pro). They are 4k video files at 24 fps. When I import the files into Premiere Pro, I only get the audio file (no video). Encoding directly in Media Encoder under the default settings (and some obvious alternative presets to try) results in an mp4 file which plays audio only file (with black video).Any ideas what is going on, and how to fix? Other videos from my iPhone seem to import just fine. Mike
Hi all,I have an 8-core render server that I built myself, originally meant for this purpose, but I've not had the time to put time into it. Now that I do have the time, I was wondering if it was possibly to export to an external instance of AME on the render machine (which runs Windows)?Logistically, I can probably build a hotkey, or something like that, to go through and launch AME on the render server using Remote desktop, but it would be so much easier if there was a built-in feature to export to the external server. Alternatively, can we develop a plugin for Premiere or AME that allows us to do what I described above?Thank you everyone,Kind regards,Caylem.
So here are my settings to export my animation as .mp4 file: Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet And here's the final result on Youtube: Sunrise Animations channel intro - YouTube Why does the quality looks worse than the preview? Can someone please help me?
Hello all,I am all of a sudden unable to export from a Premiere project. If I export from Media Encoder, my usual preferred method, it stops and says "failed" about 10 minutes in. When I click "failed", I get this error message in my textedit:When I try to export from Premiere, I get this pop up error message:The media in the project is all transcoded to ProRes 422 (LT), and I am exporting H264 files with the Vimeo 1080p HD preset (as I have always done). I have never seen these exporting errors before, and have exported iterations of this project countless times. It has been about two months since I had last opened the project. All of my other projects (most of which are also transcoded to ProRes 422 LT codec before editing, but not all) export just fine. I am suspicious of the "source file" line in the Media Encoder error message, which is from a cache folder and is just a folder that contains audio? What is the source file? What should my so
I am trying to render a 4 second video in media encoder. I'm sending the video to the encoder from after effects. When it starts to render it shows another after effects in the task manager using about 95% of my cup. If I open the media encoder by itself with no other program running it will open the same afterFX.exe with the same cup result. Rendering is taking more than 4 hours and didn't have the problem before. I have an asus laptop with 12 gig of ram, i7 processor, and nvidia GeForce 940mx graphics card.
I would like to encode my 90 minute documentary. I open Media Encoder, I select 'Add Premiere Pro Sequence' from the file menu, I navigate to my Premiere project and open it. And then I have to wait for what seems like (I didn't think to time it) 15 - 20 minutes or more for the project to open in ME. It is a reasonably complex project (again, a 90 minute documentary), but still, that seems like an inordinate amount of time to simply access the sequence I want to encode. Are others having to wait a long time when opening a complex (though still only 47mb) project file? And wouldn't this process be faster and simpler if I could send a sequence to ME from Premiere rather than have to open the entire project in ME and then search for my sequence?MartinAdobe Premiere Pro CC 2017.1.1, Build 11.1.1 (15)Adobe Media Encoder CC 2017.1.2, Build 11.1.2.35OS 10.10.5Blackmagic Intensity Pro 4K, Driver: 10.8.2Early 2009 Nehalem MacPro4,1, 2 X 2.6 GHz Quad-CoreSamsung 850 EVO 1 TB system drive32 GB RAM

Hello,If I select in After Effects that I want to render my video with Media Encoder, the program will start up. We're using AME to automatically render using a watch folder. However, in our testing it can take up to several minutes before AME notices new projects to process in the watch folder. We would like to make AME look for new projects in the watch folder as often as possible - it is imperative we cut this delay down to several seconds. Are we overlooking a hidden setting or config file?
