Just exporting from Premiere works fine, but the encoder, which is supposed to be a time saver, fails on every video. It has worked great in the past on this machine. They videos are :15 and :30 TV commercials. It doesn't matter what format I'm outputting in (MPEG2, H.264, .MOV), they all fail. I really need to get this working as I have about 40 spots I need to output in the next couple days. Please help.[Here is the list of all Adobe forums... https://forums.adobe.com/welcome][Moved from generic Cloud/Setup forum to specific Program forum... Mod]

Hello,I need to export a .MXF file with MPEG-2 codec at 80Mbps stream, 10 audio channels.I can export the file with most correct specs with MXF OP1a @XDCAMHD PAL 50, but can't achieve 80Mbps (only 50Mbps)Is this something I can do with AME/Premiere? Can you please advise another way to achieve this? Thanks! These specs are an example for what I'm looking for:Format: MXFFormat version: 1.2Format profile: OP-1aFormat settings: Open / IncompleteDuration: 1h 53mn 13s 760msOverall bit rate: 89.3 MbpsEncoded date: 2016-06-16 15:48:45.996Writing application: Omneon Inc. I have a GoPro time lapse I want to encode into a single video file. After importing the image sequence into AME, giving it the YouTube 4k preset, setting the FPS to 10 and encode, the resulting video file shows about the first 2.5 seconds of images and then the media offline card for the remainder. All of the 5923 images are in one folder on a local HDD. What is going wrong?
I'm hoping someone can help me with this as I seem to have hit a wall. I need to export a Quicktime video from After Effects (with alpha channel). It is basic text animation with alpha that is then sent to another editor to be overlaid on to other footage. I previously worked on this job in 2015 and the file size of the clip that was rendered and delivered then was around the 80mb mark, which was fine quality-wise.I revisited this job today to make a change and although I'm sure I've used the same export settings as before, the same file seems to have blown up to 500+mb. I compared the two in Mediainfo and this difference seems to be coming from the much higher variable bit rate in the newer file. However, I seem to be struggling to find anywhere to actually set this bit rate in AE or AME, all options seem to be greyed out. Aside from that, all the other details seem to be the same so I'm wondering what I've missed. Is it possible to even set this bitrate anywhere while keeping a Quick
Hi,just installed AME but I cannot launch it.With previous version, I deleted the file into SLCaches and it worked. But not now. Some suggestions?MacBook Pro Retina, Sierrathank you
Is there any codec I can use to encode a 4min simple animation with audio being the audio export not AAC but uncompressed? H.264 doesn't give me this format since the audio has to be AAC/MPEG/Dolby. I wanted the final output to be like below 700mb or anything. I know it's weird but I am hearing slight difference from my source audio and then encoding to H.264 AAC audio.
I export edited footage of sports games that are separated into multiple rounds. I save them as GAME 1, GAME 2, etc. and name each Premiere file accordingly. But in AME, I have to manually add and name each file from _DSC1234 to the corresponding GAME # one at a time so as to prevent duplication or incorrect naming, and it is a giant pain. Is there a way to tell AME to simply use the source file name for each file I import?
Hi,I've got an mp4 file with 3 different audio tracks (each audio track is a language. So in VLC, I can make a right click and choose which audio track I want to play).I need to convert this file into a MXF OP1a. I've tried via Adobe Media Encoder but the MXF file doesn't have the 3 audio tracks when published. Is there a way to convert it and keep the different audio track in the file ? (I'm willing to use Adobe Premiere if necessary).Thx
Hello everyone. I recently had to be issued a new machine at work, and the fresh install of Media Encoder 2015.2 (newest version IT will let me use) seems to have lost the Effects tab in the encoder tab. I can't find anyway to get it back. Has anyone else ever run into this? It's pretty important that I get it back. Thanks!
Problem: Media encoder is pegging my 8 core CPU at 100% while generating proxies. What can I do to smooth out this workflow?I thought the whole point of creating proxies is to ease the burden while editing. My understanding is that it is supposed to allow low utilization proxy creation in the back ground while letting me edit clips in premiere. There doesn't seem to be a way to tell Media Encoder that it can't have all 100% of my 8 cpu's. I'd like to keep editing during proxy creation without a severe slowdown.I'm using the very latest version of 2017 Media encoder (all updates applied)Appreciate any advice.(Win 10 64bit; 32GB memory; 8 core cpu. 2 high end graphics cards)
I am trying to render a 20 second sample video using the Adobe Media Encoder 2015 CC Youtube 4k preset. The target and maximum bitrate displayed is both 40 but the output file ( if I right click and then properties ) only showed 16,000 kbps? Why isn't 40,000 kbps? I also tried using other presets and custom ones, whenever I put 16 bitrate the output file will only have 7,000kbps. Am I missing something? I wanted the bitrate of the video to be high like 45,000, I am using the same 20 second video in all my tests.
Hi, I made a documentary 30 min lenght. This doc has just 2 photo animated (simulating a pan) moving right to left pretty slow. When I did the Master in ProRes HQ, It looks perfect, but when I compressed this Master to make a SD DVD using Media Encoder, all video looked great, excepted these two photo animations, than looks awful. I have tried for a week all the posible options to fix it: pixels aspect ratio, compression max quality, fields, photoshop setting for animation, resize, add a bit of blur, and so on,...but I couldn't fix it. I spoke with some people and some of then told me this is a problem about down scale from HD to SD, DVDs reduce the resolution to almost a quarter of the original size 1920 to 720, so some artifacting is going to occur.I wonder if somebody here kenos something about it or found a solution about this problem ?I'll appreciate any comment about it.Thanks !!
For an unknown reason suddenly Media Encoder doesn't seem to reach the Dynamic Link Server (whiceh I don't really know what it is) when trying to crop a wide file to a perimeterboard (20928x64px). It gets stuck in "Reading XMP...". No problem to crop normal files. What's happened?
Hello all, I have been searching this forum for years now and its helped me out alot by you guys answering other peoples questions. But I am stuck right now. I used after effects to create an animation with lots of motion, I render it from AE in photo-jpeg or animation codec and import to FCPX to make some edits and export the ProRes file from there. When I upload to youtube the quality is SHOT, like completely ruined. Locally the videos look fine, I stopped editing in FCPX because it seems to me FCPX makes my videos a little blurry during motion after export. I have done many render tests and and uploaded to youtube and every upload came out with the same result. I have rendered one final output from AME using dynamic link from AE and the final output was gorgeous, no artifacts what so ever unlike rendering from FCPx. Until i uploaded to youtube then it would turn to crap. Here are some test renders-720 29.97 prores 422 50mps - FCPx final render - Pre rendered in AE using Animation -7

I have a list of videos waiting to export in my queue, but if one fails, the queue stops. How do I change the settings so that if one video fails, the list will continue on to the other videos?
Hi, I have the website www.ridbedre.tv - but unfortunately the users with Samsung phones can't watch the videos - I tried a various presets in media encoder including the ones for android, but just gets the message: error, file can not be played - any good ideas?[Moved from non-technical Forum Lounge to Media Encoder forum... So I downloaded the new AME 2017. Did NOT update Premiere from 2015 since I'm mid-project on something that I don't want to debug. But now when I want to export from Premiere using AME, I get an error message stating that AME is NOT INSTALLED even though I can open AME 2017 on its own. Is Premiere looking in the wrong location or something?
When i download the AME presets via cloud sync i get many duplicate presets. Every preset show up in the list at least 10 times. When i remove all settings, then upload, and then download the same thing happens. How can i delete presets that are already stored in my cloud? And if it's not possible can i somehow delete all presets or initialize the preset storage in my cloud? Thanks in advance.
I recently upgraded my MacBook Pro to Sierra and Media Encoder to the latest version CC 2017. I'm using a 4x3 "film burn" overlay in a Premiere Pro CC 2017 sequence that I've scaled up to 16x9 to fill the screen. When I export the sequence in Media encoder it doesn't maintain the scale and I can see the border of the layer. Anyone run into this issue? Thanks!
I've rendered a few sequences through AME recently and they've all ended up strange. I believe I tracked one of the problems to the Metal render engine - Vimeo , but the latest issue has me baffled. Essentially, my sequence audio mix renders at the wrong levels. Playback and renders out of PP directly work no problem, but AME doesn't execute them correctly. Here's the correct mix - Vimeo Here's the incorrect (AME) mix - Vimeo Anyone got any thoughts? I've tried cleaning the media cache, I've tried resetting AME preferences, so now I'm at a loss.My machine:2013 Mac Pro 3GHz 8-coreAMD D700's
