When I have multiple sequences in AME queuing to be encoded to MPEG2-DVD the final clip has some audio from a completely different project. This has happened several times. I am using the latest update Premiere 12.1.2 (build 69) . So far, this has only happened when encoding to MPEG2-DVD or Bluray, not H.264. I could possibly (although unforgivably) understand if all of the encodings were simultaneous, but since they are encoding one at a time, I don't understand how this could happen.
Windows 10 1803Adobe ME 12.1.2CUDA with 1x 1070 ti 3x 1080 tiTrying to encode cineform (.mov) proxies for hundreds of interviews. Every time I set it to go, it makes it through about 3-4 of them before hanging half way through one. Never hangs on the same one twice, just restarts the queue and hangs a few encodes later. Not unresponsive, but the encoding itself is frozen. I am still able to save the queue, but as soon as I go to close the app, it completely freezes and requires shutdown via task manager. Seriously need a fix for this
All the settings say 1920 x 1080 and it always renders as 2327 × 1080.
Hello everyone, My client expects us to deliver all videos in Full HD with a bitrate between 10 Mbit/s and 11,5 Mbit/s. Media encoder delivers different results for each clip - no matter what settings I use. I have tried 11,0 Mbit/s CBR and 11 Mbit/s VBR with both sliders (Min and MAX) set to 11,0 Mbit/s).I have also tried different profiles (Main and High) and levels. The videos are pretty much the same all the time - a model in front of a grey background. Some videos always come out with a too high bitrate, some always with a too low bitrate. I use mediainfo an ffprobe to check the bitrate of the videos. Does anyone have an idea how to fix thís and produce videos with an continous and precise bitrate?best regards, Martin
When I try to export a scene to video with "Adobe Media Encoder" in "Adobe Character Animator", AME returns an error, saying that it is impossible to read the origin and when I tried to add a new origin in AME queue and I selected the .chproj archive (character animator archive) , AME returns a Dynamic Link error sying that it can not connect to the selected application (Character animator in this case). This is the error that I find in the error log of the AME.- File of origin: F: \ ... \ larguito Puppet.chproj - Output file: C: \ ... \ Desktop \ Scene - larguito.mp4 - Preset used: YouTube HD 1080p - Video: - Audio: - Bit rate: - Coding time: 00:00:0008/20/2018 10:59:59 AM: Coding error------------------------------------------------------------The origin can not be read. I'm trying to change the codec of 300 or so files through Media Encoder. However, if I try to select about 10 files at a time and just change the codec (not even rendering yet) the software freezes and becomes unresponsive.I can render only about 3 files at a time, one by one, before Encoder freezes, too. I contacted a technical agent who had access to my computer, and he helped with getting Encoder to work at all, but the freezing is very much still there.Just let me know what info you want about my hard/software in order for you to best help me.

Hi, I need to export video from premier pro 2018 in the following format: Entropy coding mode = CAVLC (Do not use CABAC!)AVC Profile = Main Profile and Level 4.0 (Main@4.0)Codec = H.264 (MPEG-4, Part 10)The new veriosn of Premier Pro CC does not have the older options. (used to export through Android 1080s preset, entropy code would be CAVLC) How can I export video in CAVCL main profile in Premier Pro CC 2018 ? Thank you !
Hi, I hope that you might be able to help me. I need to save an animated GIF I have created in Photoshop CC 2018 into a Quicktime Pro. Res. 422 (HD or 1920 x 1080 preferred, aspect ratio 16:9) file. Any ideas? Many thanks.
Good evening,I edited a sequence with Premiere Pro CC 2017 with an input file in 4K of 2 hours (3,5 Go), in a sequence in resolution 1280x720 (for Vimeo): the export to H264 format in minimum and maximum speed 5, in VBR 2 passes is announced by Media Encoder to last 24 hours. Having to provide my video before this deadline, I cut my 2h sequence to make 2 sequences of 1h and Media Encoder 2017 now announces me 16h per sequence to export!Have you ever encountered this kind of export delay (for me, this is the first time I've such a delay) or can you tell me what I could do to reduce the export time? Thanks in advance for your help! I am pretty new to After Effects and I am trying to work on a VR project. I have created animations with transparent backgrounds and when I add them to the Render Queue I read on a different forum answer to change it to RGB + Alpha, and change Quicktime to Quicktime PNG. When I try to save it as Quicktime PNG I dont have all the options shown in the photo in the other post and I definitely do not have the PNG. I am using this video with ar.js so I need it to be less than 4MB, and MP4. What do I do? Thanks!
It used to work fine but since 1 week I am facing this problem. I cannot open it and only displays this message. I have tried to reinstall it many times but still the same thing comes again and again. Please help me
So, things have been working fine up to now. just yesterday, premiere pro started only importing sound from videos. I tried re-encoding the video, but got this error instead. Hi I'm having an issue with Media Encoder on my new render server. The problem is that various GPU accelerated effects, mainly glow bases ones as they are most obvious, are not rendering as they should, I.e. not leveraging the GPU at all as though I am rendering in software mode, despite the GPU being heavily utilised when rendering and After Effects displaying and rendering them fine internally.I don't have this problem on my main PC which is in itself a problem since I built the server so that I could use that instead.Cuda does appear on the renderer list and is selected.Any ideas please tell me as I'm losing my patience here.Server specs.Dual X5675 Xeons (12 Cores 24 Threads)24GB DDR3 RamGTX 1060 3GB (Couldn't afford a quadro)8 port LSI raid controller1TB WD SSHD for the boot drive24TB Raid 5 Array256GB Samsung SSD for the scratch diskMedia Encoder v12.0 (Updating to v12.1 seemed to actually make things worse as GPU usage hit 0% and render times tanked.)Again rendering from After Eff
Pardon some the tediousness of this, but I wanted to be as clear, as I am thorough in regards to what steps I've taken to attempt to rectify these problems. As mentioned, neither my libraries nor Dynamic Link are working, or my cloud files themselves retrievable in this environment.I have more than enough horsepower, and more than enough allocated to CC.I checked AME error logsI uninstalled all appsI signed out of CCI uninstalled CCI executed Adobe Cleaner(I went through and deleted all additional files in AppData and Documents that cleaner nor uninstall cover)I pulled up the log report and though the manifest listed many problems of location, I figured if they've been deleted and cleared out, that would bebetter than knowing they are placed in a wrong location. There are some additional cues in there of which I have no idea as to what they are, but perhaps you can determine a problem from those logs. (SEE first video 6:42)As far as libraries troubleshooting,I closed out all apps, unins
I'm used to having to stop the dynamic link process and media encoder if I plan on reopening the program and using it more than once... but now even doing that won't get the dynamic link server to connect, it just hangs there...No updates available, this is the updated version that doesn't work.I know I'm not the only one with this issue, what's the deal... media encoder is supposed to make exporting easier not completely impossible.
Hello everyone!I have a 169mb video, with the following specs:I added a watermark on After Effects, and export it through Media Encoder with the following settings;Notice the estimated file size says 191 MB.After 3hs , the file is 2 GB on size, wih the following specs;Any suggestions? Thanks!
Hi Everyone, Starting yesterday, I could no longer export items to the queue in Media Encoder. After I 'export' and send the queue, Media Encoder opens but nothing appears in the queue window. It just stays blank. Any suggestions. Both apps are 12.1.2 (build 69) and I'm on a Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6, Thanks. John
I'm having issues exporting my After Effects file to an MP4 File. I'm using a modified version of the "YouTube 2160p 4K" preset. Everything was pretty much left the way it was except where I checked the "Use Maximum Render Quality" checkbox and changed the audio sample rate down to "44100 Hz". Previous files exported correctly as one MP4 file with this method, but this one seems to act strange. It renders an MP4 file that's just the audio of the project, and a corrupt M4V file that has numbers after the project name. For Example: OBS003.aep = OBS003.mp4 and OBSOO3.10988.303321.m4v. I've rendered it numerous times and each time, the corrupt file's name is always different and varies in size. I've tried to purge the cache in AE/AME and reset the computer--but I still get the same end result. I've tried to recreate the AE Project from scratch and ended up with the same result. I've also tried saving the output file on external drives but end up with the same result. The log file shows tha
Hello, I typically do a lot of little exports from a single edit and use AME to queue them for one session of export. Didn't used to have a problem with memory, but lately if I do 1/2 as much at a time as I used to my 32GB RAM computer runs out of memory. I've noticed that if I open up Activity Monitor, AME creates a PProHeadless task that takes up about 1.30 GB per video clip I'm trying to export. These PProHeadless tasks don't go away after a clip is done exporting and just keep stacking up until all memory is gone. Is this an error on AME's side? How can I get AME to stop stacking PProHeadless tasks that don't seem to be needed anymore after the clip is finished exporting? Thanks,
Just wondering if anyone is having problems with ME since the latest update?I'm getting 30-40 second freezes doing simple things like changing format from QT to h264. Happens whether accessing ME directly or within Prem Pro.Win10 Pro32GB RAMi7-4770 @ 3.40GHz
Adobe Media Encoder is stuck in "Software only" whenever I render out anything. Despite GPU engine being selected it refuses to use it. I have 2 GPU's in my workstation and both sit idol during AME renders. It goes straight to the CPU's every time.
I am trying to prep my blu ray using Blu-Disc, but first I need the right type of movie file.Blu-Disc supported file types are MPEG-2, H.264 and VC-1.The format I use is H.264 Blu-ray, 1080p, 23.976.The result is an .mp4 and a .wav but the .mp4 cannot be loaded into Blu-Disc.I don't understand, howcome when I render an H.264 Blu-Ray, I get a file type that Blu-Disc doesn't recognize? Encore even states that the file type will be a .m4v.Render setting:Result:
My video has it's own track, but I want to change it with the new audio. How can i do it with "adobe media encoder"?
Dear all, today i was working with PR2018 (second to last version) with about 200 sequence. In every sequence, i've marked in and out (to cut clip after ciak and before the stop). In order to export fast, i copied PR project in 3 pc Win10 with the same PR2018 version and i queued in AME about 70 clip each computer. In one computer, AME doesn't consider in and out marker and i exported 70 whole sequence (i noticed only after queue finished...).Which step i missed? How can i set AME to consider in and out marker in multiple export? In AME i tried this step: selected all clip in queue, click on the first clip setting, changing in "in - out", but only setting in this sequence was changed, not in the ohter 69 sequence...Thanks in advance.
