I'm running the latest version of everything, on a Windows PC with i7 6800K, GTX 1070. I'm trying to transcode 4K Prores HQ coming from an Atomos Shogun to low-res proxy files in MXF OP1a. AME continues to crash during this, and I am not able to finish my transcode.
I keep getting this message I am using a windows computer and trying to ingest videos as QuickTime. This is what I get every time. Any ideas
I don’t know very much about computers or all of the settings mean that I have on, but I am trying to render around an 18 second project from After Effects in Media Encoder, and everytime it begins to “render”, it is still reading XMP. I’m trying to export the project in H.264. If anyone can help me, please let me know!
I can not use AME CC 2018 in my work flow. As I cannot save h.264 file mutiplexed to a TS file.I have to keep using AME CC 2017. Will this be resolved later?
Where are the presets to encode for Apple devices in AME CC 2018?Can i add them ?Thanks
My video codec drop-down list in the Export Settings in Adobe Media Encoder doesn't have PNG listed. I don't have QuickTime Player on my computer - is that why? Or is it missing for some other reason?
This was mentioned in the AE forum but was never answered. On the Avid site DNxHR HQX and 444 are both listed as 12 bit yet in both AME and After Effects as mov or MXF they are 10 bit. Is this an error and they are actually 12 bit or have Adobe somehow managed to engineer their own 10bit version of DNxHR? If so when can we expect a 12 bit version? On the Windows side of things we are severely lacking in 12 bit codecs for sending VFX shots for colour grading. Link to Avid DNxHR spec DNxHR Codec Bandwidth Specifications
Hello!I just installed the latest version of Media Encoder CC (V 12.0) from my creative cloud application to try it out, but I can't import the quicktime reference files I export from Avid Media Composer (V 8.3.1).I tried checking and unchecking the "Use Avid Codec" checkbox (within the Avid's Export settings) but I still get the "File Import Failure" error box.I am using DNxHD 115 in my project, and am working in 1080p/23.976.I saw a 2012 thread talking about this problem, but the last comments says that this should be solved from the CC version.Any inputs about how I could solve this issue would be, of course, greatly appreciated!Luc Desjardins
The Creative Cloud no longer permits to install it (it's not listed).I need it to make old flv files for an aold application.Where can I download it?Thanks in advance
I'm having problems getting QuickTime videos rendered by Adobe media encoder to play on my Mac computer. Whenever a QuickTime video is starting up, it says converting, then says it can't be opened. I've tried restarting my computer and reinstalling Media Encoder, but those did not work. It just started yesterday and I have rendered other videos fine in the past week.
When AME CC 2017 render video , it's cost 60-70% CPU and 1~2% GPU even that I already set user GPU(Cuda) and create new cuda_supported_card.txt in AME folder. I still can choose with use GPU(Cuda) or CPU only, but both using CPU to render video. My GPU card is Geforce 1060 6GB with core I3-z370 mainboard. What should I do next, or did I miss any step to config AME to render video using GPU?
Issue 1:I shot a 2-hour live performance on a Sony AX2000. It records in MTS. I drop the files into AME 2018 and stitch them. I export the files into h.264 with a medium bit rate. When I watch back the exported file, the audio gets more out of sync the longer the video goes on.To try and work around this, I installed AME 2017...Issue 2:When I export the same MTS files into a stitched MP4 file, I lose audio. I get an error message when I import that says I need to install a Dolby Codec and that will happen if I click OK, but still no audio.I have another machine that does not have this issue with 2017 (this machine does not have 2018 installed), but I would like it to work properly on my primary machine.I have tried clearing Media Caches and resetting preferences and restarting the machine and reinstalling the software. Nothing works. Any ideas?Primary machine where neither 17 or 18 work specs: Mac Pro (Late 2013) v 10.13.5, 3.7 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon E5, 64GB 1866 MHz DDR3m, AMD Fire
Apparently you removed DXV 3 Support and i F&%! need it NOW!your stupid Creative cloud removed the ability to downgrade or choose versions which IS SUPER FU&&& ANNOYING!!!
Is it possible to disable CUDA for just a one or a few Premiere effects. I have tried different frame rates and codecs, but Lumetri and some of the color correction effects always cause the Media Encoder render to fail. Disabling CUDA is not really an option since green screen footage takes to long if I don't use it. Is there a way to disable the acceleration for just the color correction and not ultra key. If this is not possible, is there any other fix that would get Lumetri working?
Hello! We just made the big switch to Premiere Pro CC for our TV shows and now that it's time to finalize our first few episodes we are having some major problems batch exporting segments of the show. Sometimes it works, sometimes it works half way through the batch list then crashes, sometimes it crashes right away. There is no consistency, other than crashes are happening all the time. Here's what is happening:• AME 7.2.0.43 (64-bit)• Mac OS X 10.9.1 on 2x2.66 GHx 6-Core Intel Xeon, 40 GB 1333MHz DDR3 RAM• Startup disk is SSD w/ 4GB free space (all footage is on external storage)• Using Premiere Pro CC to export via AME.• All recent updates insatlled as of 3/10/14.The source footage is ProRes 422 720p 59.94 footage from AJA KiPros. Each project has 16 segments - these are individual sequences. There are 7 tracks of audio and 4-5 tracks of video in each. In addition to the video there are targa files that include the score bug, full screen graphics, etc (this is sports). There are also
I've been using Adobe Premiere Pro CC for a while, and I always save to the same folder, same file path. I normally export via CBR, and have no issues locating the saved video. This time, I exported via VBR, 2 pass, 15-40mps as I need to send it to a client, so it had a smaller file size, yet still high quality. Spent a lot of time exporting this morning, and now completed, I cannot find my exported video. Any ideas?
We just updated to 2018, and I don't see the same pulldown presets as we had before. First question - what is the different between the System presets (right), and the presets you can get in the pulldown menu in the queue (left)? Second question is how do I recover the longer list of options that we had in 2017?
After Media Encoder cc 2018 installation no presets appear in Android, Apple, Kindle and many other preset devices. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall Media Encoder but it is still incomplete. Please help me as soon! Thank you
如题,我想将.blv转换成.mp4 ,但是.blv拖不到AME里,我应该怎么办?为什么不能拖到这里呢?不是视频转换器吗?为什么还要限制原来的格式,!!!Moderator Warning: Do not use profanity. We have minors reading here.
Hello everyone, I would like to talk to you about a weird and intriguing problem I encounter. I'm actually a professional encoder using AME every day for work to upload videos on a platform. Since the release of AME 12.1 version, I'm experiencing some issues in my uploads. I'm using the same presets and parameters to encode my files, but the platform I'm using is not letting my files through. Do you know if during the update between AME 2017 v11.1.1.35 and AME v12.1.0.171 a major change has been made, thus modifying the file surreptitiously. Please, if anyone has come across the same issue let me know as I'm feeling a bit left out by Adobe Support; andd can't figure out what the issue could be Thanks everyone
How do I convert an mp4 into a wmv file
Hey all. I have 5 Mac Pros (3.1 and above with a minimum of 24GB RAM) running OSes from El Capitan up to Sierra driven by either GTX 970s or 980s (all 4GB) flashed for Mac. I have never had issues with these in the past. They're all running the latest NVIDIA web drivers and CUDA drivers, rendering on both open CL and CUDA (while I was trying to find the solution), and Media Encoder seems to be doing this weird thing where it will show an active encode for about 5 minutes, and then the UI freezes. If I check my render destination folder, the files continue to be generated, but AME is unresponsive giving the spinning beach ball (the image below is of the frozen UI at exactly 5 minutes. The finder had completed the first file about 10 minutes before I took this screen shot) Additionally, there seems to be a huge gap between when one file ends and another begins. The computer I first noticed this on was originally running an ATI Radeon 1GB card producing the exact results I posted above so I
Never had this happen before but when i go to export media and do my settings as normal then go to queue, the audio from prem pro cs6 timeline is for some reason syncing a part of the audio from the start of the wedding and not from the timeline project sequence. Its as if its syncing the part when i put the voice recorder on the groom early on in the morning and not the vows i want in the timeline. It was synced with pluraleyes. The only thing i see in the timeline is the green synced sequence says audio drift corrected, any thing wrong there? Steve uk
Can anyone explain why when I import .VOB files into Adobe Media Encoder CC 2018 to export as MPEG2 (match source - high bitrate) I can't play the encoded file? The encoding takes place and I can see the .mpg thumbnail view in Media Browser but I can't open the file in 'reveal in explorer' (Windows 10).[Moderator: Moved from Adobe Creative Cloud to Adobe Media Encoder (AME)]
There are some quickltime files that wont load in AE, Premiere. or AME. I think it is because these QT files are using Legacy codes or something like 24-bit. So how does one go about converting these files? These old codecs are UNAVOIDABLE, since a lot of companies have been using these for years. For example, one of our clients is furniture retailer and the brand product videos they get from manufacturers go back 5-7 years so they are in these formats, and are unusable. We need a away to convert them but there are no Adobe products that can open them. So what should we use?
