Adobe Media Encoder

When I try to import a downloaded YouTube video or movie in .mkv format I get the error message. Some .mp4 files work strangely enough.  

Failed update of After Effects 22.3 and Media Encoder 22.3 slows done and/or does not finnish the rendering, freezes or does not start. Tried small and large files. Worked fine before update..... Any known fixes or ongoing analyzis?

I am trying to download an after effects project to my computer so im using media encoder, i've used it for a while now but ever since i updated it, my video will download until i have about 5 seconds left and then it pauses and wont download completely. I have a gateway windows laptop with 8 gb of ram so ae and media encoder run fine.

Hi everyone,Media Encoder 14.5 just won't let me import any file at all. When I drag and drop a file it won't appear in the queue, the cursor is a hand with the "no" sign...I'm working on an 2019 iMac with macOS Catalina 10.15.7Does anyone else have this problem?Thank you!

I'm trying to export files with closed caption using (.mxf / EX 1080 60i / with side care .ssc) via Media Encoder.  Once I hit "Queue" in Premiere, Media Encoder opens and it appears to load, then it just hangs.  It says its exporting but nothing happens.  I have to quite the export and end up having to export the file dirrectly from the Premiere timeline which then means I cant do anything else in Premiere till the file export is complete.  Anyone else have this issue?  I can replicate it on multiple Macs and a PC.  

When I export a video as an MP4 using a modified Youtube preset, it creates two MP4 files. One contains the video as intended, the other has a set of numbers added to the end of the filename, and is 0 kb in size.  Media Encoder was not doing this a week or so ago with the same preset when I would export MP4's. Any ideas why this might be happening.  Thanks

Since I got my Macbook Air with M1 I never was able to render anything in Media Encoder without any issues. Thanks god I have an windows PC as an alternative, but I don't want to give up. on a MacOS I do the same thing as in Windows 10.1. Select AF Composition 2. export to Media Encoder 3. Output: H.264 high/mid/ bitrate 4. renderIt never finishs. Sometime it stops after 2 minutes, sometimes after 5 minutes. I have to restart the Macbook to make Media Encoder work again.  I dont have any complicated files. Pngs, video material, text animations. I don't have any problems in windows with the same settings, so do you know what might be the problem? Fun Fact: Rendering the AE composition after importing it into Premiere Pro works...  😄   MacOS 12.3.1After Effect 22.3Media Encoder 22.3

This is a new error because the encoder was opening fine an hour ago. I had a queue of items in Encoder, but not the file I was looking for.  So I deleted the items in the queue and tried several times to take my composition from After Effects to AME. The composition wouldn't carry across, so I tried restarting AME. That's when it started hanging when the opening sequence reaches 'AEXD.plugin' I've tried loading from the Applications folder as another thread suggested, with no luck. Hi everyone I'm having an issue exporting scene from character animator into media encoder. I'm trying to have it export it either to an H.26 file or a movie file. Every time I get a different error code, sometimes it says check to make sure that character animator is installed-- and it's always been installed. I literally deleted it and installed it again as well because some posts said that'd help. Didn't work. Sometimes it says that the file is not where it should be and I've moved it, created a new folders, everything to no avail.  This is my final assignment for graduation and I can't restart because theres no time before tomorrow at 12pm. I even tried a new scene to test whether it was the actually animation or an issue with encoder/animator alone and it had the same results. The dynamic link doesnt work, I've tried the png and wav option but it doesnt allow me to use it like a video in premeire pro which i need to use after to add titles and such.. SOMEONE PLS HEL

I have an illustrator logo that I gave a simple fade in/out effect in after effects. I want to save it as a gif loader for my website, so I saved it as a gif in media encoder. but for some reason.. the quality is terrible. the gif is blurry. I've tried to change the size of the ai elements but that didnt do anything. Am I missing something? 

After updating Premiere and AME, I went through a routine export and at roughly the 25 minute mark, AME consistently stops exporting the queu. My specs:- Ryzen 9 3900X 12-core- 32gb RAM- 2x NVMe SSD 500gb- GeForce GTX 1660- RM850x- 850W power supply

Je sélectionne la préconfiguration pour ajouter la LUT dans Effets/Look / LUT Lumetri , je cherche ma Lut .code sans la liste déroulante, et lorsque je sélectionne, elle ne s'affiche pas dans la combo box. Seul les LUT .itx sont visibles et sélectionnables.Cela fonctionnait pourtant bien avec les versions 20 de Média encoder.Comment faire ? I've had the problem for MONTHS now where AE will not render to ME, but people seem to be saying that the latest update fixes it. I can't update my ME though. I'm currently on version 22.0 build 107, and I want to update to 22.0.1 or later, but there's no option to. In the CC desktop app, there are no updates available, and when I click "check for updates," it says "you're up to date!" I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling ME, installing older versions (they wouldn't link to my AE) and repairing my CC Desktop app, and none of that works. Can anyone please help me update ME or somehow get it working with AE again, please

Iam using the latest updated versions of after effects and media encoder. While exporting/rendering  it's getting stuck in the middle, and not proceeding further even after multiple attempts and re-installing, clearing all the storage etc., Any suggestions or resolutions would be appreceated. Thank you

that's it. this thing doesn't work. It's supposed to do one thing: export AE projects, yet it fails to do that.  a simple composition export, nope, the order never gets through from AE to ME. Reinstalled, keeps happening. I can't work like this. Adobe, my company has bought 15 licenses for this kind of disservice. We're paying money. Show some seriousness and make your software reliable once and for all.

I run a weekly podcast and I routinely have to export the video for youtube and Mp3 for audio-only. I was wondering if there was a way to do both with one preset or if I have to do two separate actions

I've never had this problem before, but I do now.  It's appearance has followed my recent update to the latest Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018 update (Version 12.0.0, Build 224) and Adobe Media Encoder CC 2018 (Version 12.0, Build 202).  Of course I'm not saying that these updates caused the problem, just making note of the timeline.Here is what happens:  I export a sequence from Premiere Pro using the File > Export > Media menu commands.  Premiere Pro's Export Settings dialog opens, I select the Export Settings I want, then click on the Queue button.  All seems to work normally, as Media Encoder opens, and I see the sequence listed in the Media Encoder Queue.However, when I start encoding the queue, there is a flash of activity in Media Encoder's Encoding Panel, lasting maybe half a second, then the Encoding Panel goes blank and inactive, showing only the default words "Not Currently Encoding."  A green check mark appears next to the sequence on the Queu

Greetings!Whenever I drag and drop a bunch of sequences I want to render from After Effects to the Media Encoder queue, they are queued in reverse order alphabetically - and it's a REALLY annoying issue for me.  Imagine having sequences named "seq-001", "seq-002", let's say, up to "seq-999".. When dropped into media encoder, the first sequence queued to render will be 999, then 998, etc.. Now imagine you want to render them starting with 001, because the render takes a long time and you want to deliver the first clips as soon as possible.. you have to manually drag and sort a thousand sequences! How does one fix this issue? I'm on a Windows 11 computer using Adobe CC.Thanks

Hi, Hopefully someone can help as I haven't had any luck with exiting threads. I am running AE and AME 2020 on Win10. When I try senda comp to AME it tha app opens but nothing queues, and yes I have the Queue window open. If I try use the Add Source button and chose the project file manually it gives an error: "The project could not be opened". It works fine with other projects so something about this file is perhaps corrupted? I have uninstalled and re installed my app, removed prefs, cleared cach and still nothing. Have tried importing the project into a new project, saving as a new file and still nothing. Any suggestions please??

So I've created an animation on Adobe Animator and I've been trying to export it to a video format. It's not huge and only a few mins long so it exports pretty fast but when I try and export it to Adobe Media Encoder, the Media Encoder loads up and starts not responding (I'm on windows) if I click on it.So far I've tried to reinstall Media Encoder and I saved the animation as a PNG sequence so I could try something with that.
