Just updated, did nothing to fix this problem... every sequence I drop into the que instatnly becomes a .wav file... usually the .wav file that is the audio for the project, the file in the same folder as the whole project. What is the FIX? Getting really sick of this from Adobe. Media Encoder is supposed to make things faster not send me down a rabbit whole of trouble shooting... I could have exported the 3 sequences separately by now
Hi,I'm using Media Encoder from After Effects CC to encode a composition in H264.I wish to reach a bitrate around 50.Unfortunatly, whatever the value i set in output bitrate (CBR or VBR, anyway), it seems like my output MP4 file is always the same weight (around 20 Mo). When i clic on the file properties (Windows), it says that the video bitrate is 33 Mpbs.I've tried to increase "level" and target bitrate to 50, 100, 150 Mbps, but the output file size (and quality) never change.Of course i've tried to change output file name, change CBR to VBR, levels, etc. Nothing changes, and i can't get a good output quality. Thanks for your help !Regards,
I keep getting a dynamic link error saying it can't connect to after effects 2023 and to verify that it's installed. How do I fix this?
i just updated to 2023 for premiere pro and 2023 media encoder. the one on the left is what is in the timeline and then after exporting with media encoder the color turns very different. any ideas?
Hello, I have recently upgraded my Mac OS to Monterey, and I get an error message when starting to encode ProRes (mov) videos from an external harddrive source in Media Encoder. This used to not be an issue and no problems in the past.Could we please accomodate to have this bug fixed? Thank you
helloi have updated my premiere and media encoder to 23.its very very slow to encode files.
My encoder was auto updated, but I still using AE 2021 for some of the project, I want to have encoder 2021 back. The creative clould "install old version" can only trace back to the 2022 one, does anyone know where can download the 2021 version media encoder! Million thanks!
Hello, I have just upgraded my Mac OS to Monterey, and did the required updates for all of my Adobe Creative Cloud Apps. When I tried to test encode a ProRes (MOV) video today, I get this error message. Anyone else currently experiencing this? Is it a known issue with the latest update? Thank you
Hello, I have recently upgraded to Mac Monterey, and now I am getting this error message everytime I try to encode ProRes videos in Media Encoder. Any bug fixes on this? Thank you
I have 2 Versions of the Media encoder one of 2021 and one of 2022, (two different programs on my pc) both need round about 2.5 GB and i need more space on my pc, so can i uninstall the older version or do i need both versions to run photoshop, lightroom and the other programs?
After the last major CC update to the current version, all personal encoding sets on the server are overwritten in the media encoder. After the update, you cannot select whether a down- or upload should take place, an UPLOAD is triggered immediately. Afterwards they are no longer accessible on any computer. Why does ADOBE make such errors?? This is a lot of work!! (An export was available, but unfortunately not up to date).
I have just updated my Media Encoder this morning and I have found an issues with the new version. Yesterday, I exported totally good but this morning, I exported 1 simple 3D logo with the same preset (Prores 4444 alpha + animation codec or prores 444 but the video was glitched. You can check the video here.ERROR
i want to scrub in the export settings beacuse i want to be abile to here the preview
A client wants to send raw broll to the customer but wants to remove the camera audio track. Is there a way to do that for hundreds of files without adding a layer of decompression/compression? Almost like copying the files without audio? I know it's a shot in the dark. As an alternative, is there a way to make sure the recompresed video is as identical to the original as possile? Thanks for any help.
Non parte la coda di rendering dopo aver aggiornato con Adobe 2023 da Premiere a Encoder.
Okay so I'm fairly new to this but I've been trying to reduce some video file sizes. I accidentally recorded in too high of quality and my 3 minute video is almost 2 GB. No matter which video I load into the encoder (I've now tried with 50+) as soon as I start within the first 10 seconds my screen goes black, the AME icon turns green as if I have a pop up, but instead of getting a pop up it goes away and my encoder stops. Every time this happens I have to restart my computer to get AME to even start encoding. Someone please help I've searched every crevice of the internet and can't find anyone with this same problem. Someone please help I have deadlines to meet and depend on Adobes software.
Is it just me, or the media encoder 2022 has gotten extremely heavier. It even takes a lot longer to open.

Hi, I'm using Adobe ME version 22.6.1 and Adobe AE version 22.6.0. When I select 'Add to Adobe Media Encoder Render Queue' from the Composition Menu or when I select 'Queue in AME' from the Render Queue in Afer Effects, there's nothing coming up in AME for render. For the last few files, I'm having to first render an uncompressed extremely heavy file in AE and then drag that output video file in AME and use H-264 to compress it. This is quite a hassle. It used to happen in earlier versions, then it got fixed, now it's started happening again. Please resolve this soon!
My video was a few minutes into rendering, then I decided to do some Googling about previous errors. As soon as I moved my mouse... CRASH!!!Just been back to check after typing that, and the progress clock is still frozen. This software is an absolute NIGHTMARE
estoy con inconvenientes para abrir la aplicacion. con otros de photoshop e illustrator
Sometimes you just get a mix of footage. Then I want to make proxies. My footage is:8192x43203840x21604208x3160 with pixel aspect of 2.0 4096x2160....Well, you get the idea. There are several aspect ratios that end up in a project. I'd Like to create all of the proxies somewhere around the 1280x720 size. But right now I need to create an ingest preset for every single aspect ratio I've got? No, Adobe wouldn't be so dumb as to not give us the option to have the proxies match the aspect ratio so that they aren't stretched would they? Because that's what happens if you just use the default. I'm also trying to share proxies online, so I'm stuck with H.264 and I'm lowering the target rate to 10 Mbps. I found that was a good balance of size when sharing proxies over oneDrive, but still giving you something Relatively tolerable if you need to render out a preview and don't have the footage. Is there a trick to making presets that will resize and keep the aspect ratio of the original?
I've noticed that Media Encoder uses CPU to export, but at 100%, all of a sudden the hard drive spins up, and stays active for several minutes before the video file is ready. Is it common for Media Encoder to sit at 100% for several minutes while the hard drive does this? It almost doubles the export time as a result. If it takes 7-8 minutes to render, it then takes several minutes at 100% before completing. Thank you for your input!
App Version: 22.6.1 (Build 2)OS: Windows 11 Pro 22H2 (22621.674)CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950XGPU: NVIDIA RTX 2080 (Driver 522.25) Media Encoder causes a full system crash as soon as the Quene is started. This occurs whether the quene has 1 item or 100+ items. This happens regardless of Hardware Acceleration enabled or disabled. This happens with all Renderer options. Changing the output format has no effect, it always crashes. It is a full system crash, immediatly black screens and reboot. Frequently this results in a need for the windows bootloader to repair the C drive. The logs seem to be useless but I have attached them, it is curious it logs errors about a non-genuine Intel CPU when the system is in fact an AMD CPU so of course it's not genuine Intel... The entire Adobe suite is useless to me when I cannot export my work... This also occurs in the Beta version of Media Encoder... I've ruled out all hardware problems as f
Hi, Im trying to render out a hyperlapse i did in AE, the photos/composition ended up being 4000x6000 . when i render out in ME it tells HW rendering not supported on my gpu. Why the limitation? Its an 8Gb RTX 2070. I thought i'd render that high and then i will do zooms and effects in premiere pro and export at hd eventualy thanksJ
