Adobe Media Encoder

Out of nowhere this morning, ME won't import/see AE projects or comps. I'm using the most current versions of both. I tried rolling back to each app's previous version but no dice. Not sure why this is happening now. I've done nothing different. ME can't even import/see older AE projects/comps that I've successfully imported into ME before. Adobe - or anyone - do you know why this is happenening and/or if there's a fix? Thank you!

Hi, i know my problem is not a new one, but its soo annoying and is blocking me in my workflow. Since a couple of days Media Encoder CC2022 has been rendering my compositions from After Effects very slowly. Projects that needed just a couple of minutes before now need more than an hour. And if thats not enough, my whole computer is starting to lagging when the rendering process begins.You probably can understand that this is very annoying.  If you need my specs: Nvidea RTX 3080AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16 Cores64GB Ram I hope anyone could help me with my problem.Kind regards.

Hi, After updating the Media Encoder to the latest update (version Version 22.6), it stopped working. It gets stuck at "Reading XMP" or sometimes doesn't even show anything. My PC is a high-end workstation (RTX 3090, i9 CPU, 64 GB RAM etc), so it is not from my PC. Nothing changed on my pc since before update either. Please don't break the software with such updates. Paying customers suffer because of this.  Looking forward to a new update that fixes this.  Thanks!

Hi, I'm having a problem about generating proxies with Adobe Media Encoder.These are the facts: I create the file, I put the check on "Create Proxy" and when I import files Media Encoder opens but nothing happens. I've tried many ways, including reinstalling both programs, but still nothing. Would anyone know how to help me? I absolutely need this resource in order to work.

I just made some proxies in Premier with Adobe media encoder 22.6.  I interpreted the footage in Premiere from 60p to 24P.  Then I made proxies. When I toggle the proxies on and off it doesn't sync still. I thought this issue was resolved with the latest update.  I also still can't interpret the proxies in adobe media encoder like how are used too.

I recently changed my GPU (from 1650S to 3070) and now Media Encoder does not export any video. I have cleared the caches for both Media Encoder and PPro, and I have reinstalled both apps.I am using the standard H264 option but keep getting this error. I am on all latest drivers (and did a clean install of the studio Nvidia drivers). When I try to export the sequence through PPro, it works properly but with Media Encoder it stops and errors out at the exact same time. My video has an intro + main video content + outro. The error happens right at the beginning of the main video content. I have tried exporting the intro and main video content separately, and those were exported without any error; it is only when I export the combined sequence that Media Encoder simply does not work. Hello, I'm looking for a way to compress 1000's of video files in the .mp4 format, which is simple enough in a straight forward drag and drop. However, as these files are all part of premiere projects, I need the folder structures and names of the files to stay the same. All I want is for the file to be compressed and written over in the same location, with no addition to the filename, no new folder, just a simple compress and replace.  I've tried to do this in Adobe Media Encoder - is this possible? I know I have done it in the past, but it now seems impossible. Any help and direction are gratefully received.  Thank you

The Problem: I updated to the latest versions of Adobe CC products yesterday, only to find that I cannot render from After Effects as I normally did – when I go to "File > Export > Add to Adobe Media Encoder Queue" absolutely nothing happens. When I drag a comp from AE to AME, AME gets stuck on "Connecting to Dynamic Link Server..." and won't proceed.Does anyone have any suggestions as to what may have happened during the update to break AME's connection to the Dynamic Link Server? I use After effects 2022, and Media encoder 2022,but when i try to add my video to media encoder queue,it doesent show up in media encoder,and when it does show up,its stuck at connecting to project or connecting to dynamic link server or something. and if i try rendering my video inside after effects it crashes my after effects,what should i do?

Hello, Just started a new project and imported all my footage in Premiere. AME is hanging / wheel of death / freezes while creating simple Medium Pro Res proxies from Canon 4k footage. I tried multiple times. - It's slow when Premiere Pro sends the files to AME and creates the queue - The encoding starts and then freezes less than a third into the queueMacBook Pro 20182.9 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i9Ram: 32 GB 2400 MHz DDR4Graphics: Radeon Pro Vega 20 4 GB- Canon R5 and 5D mark IV 4k clips to Medium Pro Res Proxies- Footage is on SSD drives- Using Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (Metal) because it's faster - 29 GB of RAM is dedicated to Adobe softwareThis is severely slowing me down, not a happy camper. What's going on Adobe? And no I am not buying a M1 MacBook, this used to work perfectly. Please help.  

bonjour, depuis que j'ai installé la version 22.6, sur mes deux pc ( portable et fix) je recontre des beugs du logicil lorsque j'effectue des doublure pour mes vidéos depuis adobe premier pro 22.6. Merci de me tenir informer afin de débloquer la situation. Bien à vous.

I was asked to convert a 10 second ad to Jodel, which requires less than 5 mb file size for the ads. I tried with ME, but even though I finally lowered bitrate to 0,5 Mbps (mp4, H.264, AAC 96kHz) I could not get smaller file size than about 20 mb. Then I took Handbrake, which made 5 mb file with about 5 Mbps bitrate. What settings did I miss in ME, how can I get smaller file size with it?

Soy usuario de la licencia recientemente, luego de instalarlosal abrir cualquiera de los proyectos, realizo previsualización y comienzan a aparecer errores que antes no había, paso a exportar en AME, configuro en H.264 (mov) y cuando doy aceptar la exportación tiene muchas fallas.Comencé a exportarlos en cola de procesamiento y también aparecieron fallas en las exportaciones.Funcionaba bien con la versión 2019. Al bajar la versión de prueba AE 2022 tuve que actualizar el plugin Element a la versión 2.2.2 ya que mis proyectos tienen elementos en 3D. Logrado ese paso comenzaron a aparecer fallas en todos los proyectos al exportarlos. 

Bonjour, Je rencontre des difficultés au niveau de mes exports sur Adode Media Encoder. Voici mon setup : - Dell XPS 15 9520- Windows 11 Famille- Intel Core i7-12700H 2300MHz 14 coeurs 12ème génération- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU- 32GB RAM DDR5 4800 MHz- SSD NVMe 1To Versions :- Media Encoder 15.4.5 Paramètres export :- Accélération rendu GPU CUDA- H264- 1080x720 ou 852x480- Encodage matériel Lorsque je lance un export d'une vidéo d'1min30 (250mb), celui-ci dure entre 1h30 et 5h. Le CPU ne tourne pas au delà de 30%. Le même export sur un HP Omen avec 32GB RAM DDR4 2666MHz, i5-8300H 8ème génération 8 coeurs et une NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1060 met entre 30 minutes et 1h et le CPU tourne en moyenne à 90% lors de celui-ci. Auriez-vous une piste pour résoudre ce problème ? Merci d'avance !

Hi, I converted a DNxHR 444 12 bits to a DNxHR HQX. Same resolution, same fps. It tooks 7 minutes with a 3080Ti (cuda enabled). Then I tried to encode from the same file to the same location with DaVinci Resolve Studio and it tooks less than 2 minutes. It seems DNxHR is the only codec where DaVinci Studio is really faster than Premiere Pro / Media Encoder. Is there a reason ? Am I missing something ? Thank you

Good day! I am using Media Encoder to pull framegrabs from a .MOV file. How is it pulling/exporting the framegrabs, one per second? How do I change that? Is it going by the frame rate or something else? How do I set it so that Media Encoder pulls/exports a frame every 5 or 10 seconds instead? Great tool but it's giving me tens of thousands of images... Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you and have a great day!  

Olá, tenho um AMD FX-8320 e uma GPU Nvidia GTX 960 2GB Ao tentar renderizar os videos através do Adobe Media Encoder, quando clico no start simplesmente não acontece nada, como está no print em anexo, quando eu mando exportar diretamente pelo Premiere, funciona normalmente, usando aceleração por hardware (CUDA), no Encoder independente de selecionar aceleração por hardware ou software, o processo fica parado.

Hi all. Question: Can any Adobe app extract sections of video at the file level rather than by decoding and re-encoding? Details: When preparing video for a project, I like to extract clips from much larger video files so that they don't take up much space. (It's not always possible to link to files so I need separate copies.) Currently, I can do this using FFMPEG, but, being a command-line program, it's not very convenient. Having said that, it works by simply copying the required data blocks into a new container file, so it's lightning-fast and it preserves the exact original quality (obviously). I'm wondering, therefore, if the same is possible in an Adobe app. Thanks in advance.
