So I'm running the latest versions of all programs. Thing is, I've got tight deadlines to meet and several videos to render at the same time, so the best workflow for me is to let it sit and render at Media Encoder one thing at a time otherwise I have to sit and wait for one thing to get done and click the other, which is slowing my down a lot. After the last ME update, PR (22.5) and ME (22.5) just don't like working together anymore. The dynamic link either gets stuck on loading or stuck on starting render. I should have enough RAM allocated for each program, as I have 128 GBs of RAM. Have you guys had the same happen and managed to fix the issue?Importing natively is turned off.System specs:i9-10850KRTX 3080128GB G.SKILL KIT DDR4 CL18 Trident Z RGBGIGABYTE Z490 AORUS ULTRA
As the title suggests, exporting to my Youtube channel via Media Encoder does not always work.During the hours of the day everything works perfectly but from 8 pm to 8 am this function completely stops working for me.Even staying connected to my account goolge in Media Encoder does not find me to select my channel and therefore consequently does not work for me.I repeat to be clear:From 8 pm until 8 am the export on my youtube channel is not possible via Media Encoder.Have any of you encountered a similar problem? There is a solution? Thanks in advance.
Hi, I tried to export a video but I keep getting the following error during the last few seconds. I tried deleting media cache but that didn't work. Can anyone help me?Kind regards,Chanel
Have an Ingest option to ask for destination on import so that I don't have to select hundreds of files and change their destination.
I'm having an issue with exporting video from premiere using media encoder. I noticed this while trying to use Frame.io And now it's an issue with any export I try to make with media encoder. Anyone have any ideas?

Hallo, ich möchte m4a konvertieren nach mp3.
This render gets stuck when the elapsed time and remaining time matches exactly. I've tried to restart 3 times now, each time it gets stuck at this exact spot. No warnings of any kind. it doesn't show "stopped" or "paused". It simply stops progressing or consuming processing power
Hey y'all! So I have this reoccurring problem. When I try to render one of my edits through media encoder it goes through the entire edit and stops just before it gets to the end and it freezes for hours. This edit is only 7 seconds long and it has taken 4 hours to render, stuck at the end. My edits usually take hours to render but none are above 20 seconds. Someone please help because I have to leave my computer on every night to get these edits to render. And I don't know why this edit would stop at the end and freeze??
When I am trying to create proxy files (Footage shot on FX9: s-log 3, XAVC-I) The proxies have a lut applied. I would prefer for my proxies to look identical to my raw footage. When right-clicking the file 'Source Settings" does not open. Any help is appreciated with this
Dear Adobe,How come Media Encoder very rarely works as expected. There is always a few happy months when everything just works... then breaks again... For instance, export speed on M1 Max were consistent and great and compareable with AE, with the latest update it's unusable. If export speeds work, you have to deal with Dyanmic Bridge not sending files through to Media Encoder properly.Just how am I supposed to setup my Mac so everything works as expected?
When I first open Media encoder and render a 30 seconds animation, it is taking only 4 minutes. But when I try to render again after a few minutes, after a small adjustment, it takes 12 minutes. And this becomes exponential, it can take up to 1 hour and 30 minutes for the exactly same animation.I have no idea of what is causing this.
I'm working with After Effects. Mod note: The post was branched, and I added a relevant title.
tmpAEtoAMEP files? media encoder makes a copy of my AE doc. that seems like the same as the one I exported to ME. Is there a reason to save the original or delete the one that is uploaded with my mp4? I like to keep clean files. Just wondering.
I have a 4k video with HDR content that I am re-encoding. Using hardware encoding with a RTX 3080ti. When it started said 17 hours. Doing Prores 422 output. It was encoding with about 58% CPU utilization and 19% GPU. Saw a blip of hard drive activity all the time. Now 25 hours into the encoding the CPU is going from a constant 100% utilization and 3% GPU utilizatoin and don't really see much write activity. It's moving just obvioiusly the time went up, the CPU usage changed, GPU usage dropped to almost nothing. Preview window is also barely moving unlike earlier in the encode. Oh and I went from 8GB to 4GB of memory usage. Any idea why this shift happened 3/4 of the way thru the encode? Using version 22.5 on Windows 10.
Hello, I am trying to export a project from After Effects 2021 by selecting Add to Media Encoder Queue and the Dynamic Link Connection is loading forever so it is not working. Thank you in advance,Robert
I've been trying to render a long queue of videos, and the machine is set to sleep after 30 minutes of non use, and the queue doesn't continue unitl the machine is wakened. While AME is rendering, it does not tell the OS that it's busy. Please have it keep the machine awake while it is rendering a queue.
I'm trying to render a comp from After Effects using Adobe Media Encoder and it's taking way more time than usual, normally no render passes the 10 minute line, but it's taking more than one hour to render a 56s comp with no effects other than Lumetri Color. I'm using 1080p videos, 2.7k and large JPEG photos(as image sequences). I have a Ryzen 5900x 12-core CPU and an RTX 3060 as GPU. When i check with task manager it shows the pc is using 1-3% of the GPU and less than 20% of my CPU. Everything is set to render with CUDA and it renders normally with Premiere Pro
I'm trying to find a solution to my "problem" and poking down several paths. My basic problem is I'd like a "Lightroom for video" where I can save all of my footage, add tags (keywords), perhaps create groups (collections), etc. And, of course, LR allows me to search so I can say give me all the images (or footage) with these dates and these tags. LR currently does not ingest Canon's CRM files nor their XMF files. One thought is to use Bridge but then I would have two separate places -- one for photos and one for videos to go look for things. Thats ok but Bridge adds files to each folder. I used bridge some back around 2002 but I haven't used it since and I don't recall being enthralled with its features or interface. The other idea is to convert the footage to something else that LR would ingest. I would keep the original files. These new files would simply be "reminder" entries in LR that I could tag, etc. And then if I really
Has anyone else run into issues with exporting from Animate into Media Encoder? I have a MacBook Pro Retina from mid 2015. I think one potential thing causing this could be related to Adobe ditching Flash Player recently, and if that’s the case I have no idea what step to take next. Issues I’m having: -When I export from Animate, it loads the bar to send it to ME, and ME opens, but then nothing is in the queue -if I try to import a swf file instead, ME tells me swf files are not a supported file type (swf files WILL open and work for me on their own, though) -if I try to open an unconverted Quicktime file, I can’t open it because Flash says it can’t open it, and if I drop it into ME, it says that also won’t work there Things I’ve tried already that didn’t work (I honestly might forget some because I've tried so many things): -Hitting the Enter key when ME opens to see if that will load my file into the queue -Checking that ME’s and Animate’s preferences are set correctly -Exporti
When this problem will be solved? Adding files manually not an option for professional software. Please fix this already! Not adding via cmd+shift+m, not via dropdown menu, not from original after effects render tab. All versions of all latest. Already tried to reinstal AE an ME – not working.
The recently "updated UI" is VERY hard . on the eyes. The interface "refinements" are killing my eyes. I'm not sure if it's a font change, of the text has more contrast. But the defined boxes and UI text and now REALLY hard . on the eye. I rolled back and the difference is chalk and cheese. The new UI makeover feels like a version from 5 yrs ago. Can we please have the option to just leave it as it is.
When using a Watch Folder, ME moves the original file to a folder called Source and places it under a sub-folder named with the date and time. This means that locating the original file requires knowledge of when it was processed. Not a big deal when managing only a few files, but a huge pain for a large number of files, particularly when multiple editors need to locate those files. At a bare minimum, I would like the be able to set the sub-folder name to the same as the original file. Appending a "_#" tot he folder name in the event of duplicated file names would be acceptable.Even better would be to be able to configure multiple settings for what happens to the master file after processing. I understand the need to move it, but let me specify the name of the "Source" folder and decide if each file needs its own sub-folder or not. If so, let me specify how that folder is named.
AME can't seem to read Canon's new Cinema EOS R5C files correctly. AME renames all files to Clips0001 regardless of what the original file name is. The correct file name shows in the AME browser, though. But it doesn't carry through to the compression like other camera files do. All file name burn in when trying to render proxies show Clips0001. Sorry for no examples, my footage so far is not shareable, not even screengrabs.
I need to be able to batch modify "Source Settings" on ProRes Raw clips in Media Encoder. Currently the colorspace for ProRes Raw clips has to be set on a per clip basis by right-clicking clips in the Media Encoder queue and choosing Source Settings and then setting the colorspace as desired (the colorspace always defaults to Rec709). If I select multiple ProRes raw clips and try to modify Source Settings, the change is applied only to the first clip in the selection. I need to render hundreds of clips using the Sony slog3/sgamut3.cine colorspace setting but as it is, they will all have to be modified one at a time. It also does not make sense to that colorspace is segregated into a separate "source settings" dialog - it should be a setting that is set and stored as part of the encoder preset settings. I cannot use the "generate proxy" feature directly from Premiere because I cannot store the desired prores raw colorspace setting in the ingest/encoder preset. Please fix this. Move Pror
