Adobe Media Encoder

Hi,  It is been a few weeks that i am having this problem where anything that i try to export from After Effects to Media encounter doesn't work. If I close the app Media Enconder and try to export something from AE it opens but then it get stuck on xmpIf I have it ME open it simple doesn't queue the composition that I export.  Note: All my software are updated, Adobe Premiere seems fine to to export from Media Enconder, i have try to switch the files project to different places and nothing.  Not sure what is happening, but is delaying me significantly my workflow what is not great.  Would like to know if there are any solutions to this problem and if there is people facing the same situations.   Thank you

I wanted to create Proxies in Premiere Pro v.22.0 with the newest version of Media Encoder, but it says everytime that i haven`t installed it (i have). I tried uninstall and everything but nothing works. Does someone know the solution for this?

I have been getting this error when trying to export media.   I'm running versions 22 of premiere pro and media encoder.   It was working a few days ago, but suddenly getting this error.   I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling and rebooting.I have also selected the render to software only. My videos are basic, don't have any effects or cuts in them. What is going on?  

Hey, I've tried uninstalling and re-installing Media Encoder several times but it won't do anything if I try to render anything out of it, it sits at 0% and never even starts it's progress count up. Media Encoder also crashes fairly often now. Premiere and After Effects both render the files just fine on the same computer but I'd like to set up a large batch of dailies instead of having to render every file individually as a proxy from PR. Please help! Thanks!

Eu fiz a composição no after effects normal e fui renderizar no media encoder. Clico pra exportar mas nada aparece na lista de renderização do media encoder. Estou utilizando a versão mais recente do software. Alguem me ajude, urgente 

HI Out thereI need to complete a project edited in Avid and can't get Media Encoder to open since it upgraded to the latest version. Thankfully I havn't renewed it since my annual contract ran out and am on a trial with 3 days left. All was well last week but am now running out of time.Running Windows 10 64 bit if that helps. Many thanks, Geoff Pearson 

So my Media Encoder 22.0 wont open and so does my After Effects 22.0.1Its stuck at the starting process...I already tried reinstalling both

The error occurs in the Creative Cloud app after the official update of Media Encoder.After Effects reports that no encoder is installed. If you drag the project file directly into the encoder, it says After Effects is not installed(5027 :: 12)  

I have to go deeper and analyse all the parameter. But here is what I see, with the exact same project, and a CPU which seems to be used in the same way :the render with my AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3960X (Desktop) is twice as much longer than with my Core i7-10750H (MSI laptop)... On my desktop with threadripper, I work on an external drive, a Samsung T7, connected in USB-C, a lot of empty places on it... The cash is on the same disk on both I think, it can be the problem maybe... Or something I don't know... Any idea ? Tips ? 

Why do my 1168x720 video screencast gets a little pixelated after exporting it from Media Encoder? I use QuickTime Apple ProRes 422 in order to render without much compression.  However, when I use proxy preset built in Premiere Pro, 1536x790, which is a different aspect ratio, it renders perfectly fine. Here is a screenshot of my video (with original quality):Here is a screenshot of my video (after rendering using Apple ProRes 422):

In media encoder in the publish tab, is there such way when uploading to facebook to use the video filename (or any other metadata) for the facebook title/description?

Is is possible to uplaod straight to a social media platform without encoding first?

Hi dear community! 🙂 When I was adding a project to Media Encoder Render Queue then click to start button, my media encoder stuck at "Connecting To Project" and sometimes I don't get any reaction from the program. Can someone help me about it? I think it may be related to the newly added multi-frame rendering. But just a think 🙂 I need your help. (Sorry for my bad english if you have hard to understand.)

I have strange issue. When exporting After Effects composition through Media Encoder into H.264 format, I set target bitrate VBR to 40Mbps. I even tried all possible combinations and I tried CBR to 50Mbps but final encoded H.264 video clip is always up to 12Mbps. Why?If I export from AE to lossless MOV and import that MOV (as standalone) into Media Encoder, with same settings I get H.264 output at 50Mbps.If I export anything from Premiere through Media Encoder, with same setting I am getting final H.264 with 50Mbps.I have only issue exporting from After Effects through Media Encoder where I cannot get output with higher bitrate than cca. 12Mbps although in Media Encoder it is set to CBR 50Mbps.Please, help... when i export the AE COMP to AME, Is this possible creat automatically this COMP folder included the Image files? It means like AE export.

Hello,When I try to add a composition to Adobe Media Encoder either from After Effects or Adobe Media Encoder I get the same message: 'The project could not be opened'.  The issue started when I upgraded my Mac OS to Catalina.  I am running the latest versions of After Effects and Adobe Media Encoder.  Thanks for your time and help. 

Media encoder error. Won't open.

Hi, maybe there's a workaround for this or possible feature request.I have items in my render queue, and I want to apply presets to them. it seems that if you hit "apply preset" the custom location changes to the AME folder. I wish to retain the custom location when I apply presets. it seems the only way to do that is to drag and drop manually one by one carefully under and existing preset (not on the name). dragging on an existing preset or on the name of the task or hitting apply preset changes the custom location to the default. I thought maybe a modifier key would retain existing. if that's not available, that's would be my feature request

does anyone know how to revert Media Encoder back to 2021 instead of 2022. My Media Encoder only works if I use ae 2022 but when I get into ae 2022 my plugins like rsmb and twitch are gone??

I'm updated to ME2022 and boom can't render any more! it is a absurd! I'm paying this every month for this?? adobe do something!! some one can help me? I'm using a MacBook M1 pro 16g 1T   [Title edited by moderator]

Hi guys, I just updated all my software to the new 2022 versions and have been having issues with Media Encoder. I usually export from after effects to media encoder because it speeds up my workflow. It worked the first 3 times I exported, but now it seems like it's not connecting to AE. I have restarted my computer, restarted all programs, cleared my memory & cache, but it's still not connecting. Decided to just uninstall ME 2022 and revert back to the 2021 version. Any ideas on what might be causing the disconnect? A handful of people at my work are having similar issues including crashing, lost presets, & incorrect exports. Open to any suggestions! I'm good using 2021 for now, just curious if some setting changed?

Adobe media encoder is no longer working with after effects 2022. I uninstalled and reinstalled everything, I cleaned the cache, I did all the necessary tests, but there is no way to solve. What is ADOBE doing?byeGian
