Hi Uwe Oh, that's a great suggestion! it works well with the Alt-click Master page, however I am not a scripter and have no idea how to implement this into _Jongware_'s code. It would be great if it could work too. Thanks a lot for the hint though - very useful!

You are a lifesaver!!!! This is not exactly it, but this solution is the closest and the neatest so far! Thank you so much! If I may ask - (I often regret that I didn't continue with my programming classes in the childhood :)) - is there any way to make this script apply the Master on every selected page in the Pages view, and not just on the one active page?

I would be happy, but this command invokes a pop–up with 2 input fields and it doesn't even keep the same Master Page selected - it's too long to go through it every time - I just want to select a Master page once, and then quickly click the pages to apply it...

I often need to apply a Master Page on several pages among some other pages. I know I can Alt-Click the Master to apply it on selected layers quickly. I would like it to work the other way around too – clicking the Page to apply the selected Master.
Is that possible?

Ok, I have just realised, that it is not working only sometimes. And sometimes it works. (this is the reason I found this thread - it didn't work, and now it's working again). No idea what is causing it - seems random so far (I have the external Apple Magic Trackpad 2). I will keep an eye on it.

Hi Neil Well - easy - one of my recent discoveries (reason why I wrote here this angry reply): Adobe Animate can only import video in FLV format. Most of my videos are in MOV format, so when I try to import a video into Adobe Animate, it sends me to Media Encoder to convert this video to FLV. Surprize surprize - there is NO(!) FLV format in AME! So - first question - why does it suggest to use AME? and second - what am I supposed to do? I have no way to import a video into Animate using Adobe software. Really?! A software that is dedicated to animation cannot import a video? I was long time a beta tester for Adobe Animate, and some good changes were done with my participation, and I appreciate the great work and effort that the developers are doing now to bring Animate up to the professional animation level (although I think it still laks some important features), but such basic features like not being able to import a video is simply not acceptable! Finally I had to use some online conversion tool, that created the FLV for me. Imagine converting dozens of files like that... One more discovery was the new Brushes and Erasers system in Adobe Photoshop that so many people complain about, but Adobe wouldn't listen. Ever since beginning of times Photoshop used the same brushes for Painting and Erasing. I mean - I could just use any brush as a brush or as an eraser. Ever since 2018 it's not the case any more. Now I need to create a preset for each tool separately - long and painful process – and I cannot use a brush as an eraser anymore. Why the heck did anybody ever thought about changing something that worked perfectly for more than 20 years?! It's like taking a car and deciding - Ok, let's do something new.. hmm - what? well - let's put the clutch instead of the gas pedal, and the gas pedal instead of the steering wheel, and the steering wheel at the passenger seat, and tell everybody we made a new better car. This is the reason I have to stay with Photoshop 2017, and never update it again as long as I can. I still have disks with some really old Adobe software, that I thought I would never need again, but the way it is going, I am afraid it's a good thing I kept them...

This is unacceptably incompetent! I have just stumbled upon a ridiculous problem, that was not a problem in older versions of Adobe, simply because support for certain features was removed for no clear reason! So basically I am forced to use new versions, that don't work any more for my needs. What the hell are we paying money for???

Damn it, this is absolutely ridiculous! I just opened some old Animate (former Flash) projects, and needed to reimport the video files. Not only I realised this is only possible with FLV format, but Animate actually suggested to use Media Encoder to convert the videos into FLV. Surprize surprize, I was about to cry laughing, when ME opened, I found that there is no FLV option anywhere! What a total bunch of incompetent crap!

I'm not sure if this problem existed in the previous versions – in my head I remember that this thing worked, but now I finally got frustrated enough to ask: Uusually I use the Move tool to quickly select layers by just clicking on a drawing. I can also use CMD click, if I'm currently using another tool. But here is the trick - if there is any Marquee selection, there is no way to click through it to select a layer. Clicking outside a Marquee of course works, but what if all the drawing on the desired layer is currently covered by a Marquee selection? I've tried all possible shortcuts, no luck. I can't even right ckick with the Move tool in order to choose from the list of layers. In the end I have to search for the desired layer manually in the Layers panel, which can take time , if it's a big project, or clear the Marquee selection, then choose the layer, then use Marquee again (not an option, if I already created a complicated Marquee...) (I'm on Mac OS High Sierra, Photoshop CC 2017) in the screenshot - I try to pick the cat layer

Ok, I see now - your explanation makes sense, but it doesn't really help for usability... is there any way I could increase these increments? I tried ALT + SHIFT, but it doesn't help much - 4800 times for a second is still enormous. It is so frustrating switching between the two modes every time I need to move the audio just a little bit (less than one frame). I work with animation, so working frame by frame is important for my workflow...

In previous versions of Premiere I often used the keyboard shortcut ALT + > and < to nudge (slide) clips on the timeline. In the last version (14.0.0) this is broken - I still can slide Video clips, but it doesn't work for audio any more. Instead it appears to be moving a tiny bit, but it actually doesn't I am on Mac OS High Sierra Anybody has this issue? I have reported it also on the Feedback page thanks UPDATE: OK, I have just realised, that Show Audio Time Units was enabled in the Sequence setting. Still - this is strange, that I cannot slide the audio-clip in this mode too.

Hi thanks My goal was to set a 100% opacity color inset before the gradient of the effect would kick in. At first Multiply didn't give me the wanted results either, sp I tried Normal, but then I realized I need to use Choke to have this opaque contour and adjust the distances more precicely. Now Multiply works fine. I think I'm just used to the older FX panel (I think Choke didn't exist there before). I also use Glow instead of Shadow, because it's faster to get a symmetrical contour with less adjustments... (also Inner Shadow gives the same results with same belnding modes)

Hi. Ever since one of the recent updates, the Blending Effects are not working properly any more. For example - it is impossible to set a normal black inner shadow, or inner glow - instead I get some dirty-bright color, which is absolutely unacceptable... Here is a screenshot attached

Keychain is displaying this message ever since I have changed my Adobe password (which it forced me to do) I have allowed access once, but I am a little bit alarmed by the "authenticity of node cannot be verified" - why it cannot be verified? how can I be sure it's actually Adobe software? thanks

I have one Alternate Layout next to an original, and whenever I try to delete the first 2 pages in the alternate, the whole layout merges into one with the original. I would like to be able to remove those pages without breaking the Alternate Layout separation...

Unfortunately it was not as simple - it is a complicated artistic book with all kinds of text styles and formatting, and redefining the Style proved to be very cumbersome. The method I used was the best option in my case. I still wish that TOC generator could read partial Style names...

Ok, it makes things clear, but not easy at all. Going manually through all documents and creating dozens of Paragraph styles just to please the TOC is a bit overkill. In the end having little choice, what I did was a kind of workaround - in each file I have created a duplicate of a title with just one Paragraph Style and made it non-printable. With around 30 documents it took a while, but now I am all set, and don't have to worry about formatting in the actual titles...

I am trying to create a Table of Contents from a Book , that includes many INDD documents. The style I am using to create the TOC is named "Title" In some documents the Title style is applied as it is, but in some it was modified by me later to match better the designs. So the style's name now is "Title+" But when I try to create the TOC, it actually only creates entries for the clean Title style, but cannot read any of the entries with the modified style... Meaning I must go to each document, and create a new style for each of these modified titles... which is just a lot of unnecesary work... Is there any way to create the TOC without having to do so? thanks in advance

I have completed the bug report, but in the end after submission, there was only a message: You are being directed to the following page: http://www.adobe.com/creativecloud.html, and no confirmation whatsoever. I also don't see anything in my Adobe Account... so I have no idea if it went through or not...

Hi David iCloud has just updated, and now behaves differently again: Here are the screenshots from Windows 10: 1: here is what I see when I open iCloud - none of the apps appear to be installed. I cannot switch to Installed Apps tab too. 2: I go into settings, and change the Language preference into English (international) 3: as you can see now - Photoshop appears to be installed, and some more apps down the list. Still I cannot switch to Installed Apps tab, so no way to filter the installed apps, and again - no way to see if apps from other languages are installed... All this is extremely unconvenient! I need to break my head and so so much clicking, just to understand which apps are installed or not... On Mac all installed apps are displayed perfectly:
