Yes, it was when I first installed Bridge 2025 that I got the message "GPU Rendering is Disabled." But where in Bridge 2025 Settings do you turn GPU Rendering ON? I can not find it. Thanks Gary. A couple of questions: "...As far as the state of Bridge when you cancel your subscription, why not take it one step at a time: Cancel and see if Bridge works? If it works as expected then you are good to go. Well, it has been two years since this bug has been reported and is prominent in several forums across the Internet, including several posts right here on Adobe's site. The only conclusion that can be made, from the perspective that everything Adobe does today is about profit, is someone has determined it is more profitable for them to ignore this bug. Why? Maybe the $$$ it will cost to fix it, or even more insideous, problems with Bridge will force users over to their highly profitable subscription only Lightroom application. Sad. I am having the same miserable problem with my Nikon Z5 NEF's that I attempt to download using Adobe Bridge's Photo Downloader. NEF's from my Nikon D750 and raw files from my Pentax K-70 have their image thumbnails rendered normally as they always have. However, the image files will download and appear in Bridge normally. Here's what I get when inserting my Z5 card into my card reader: Also, I can not convert my NEF files to DNG via Photo Downloader like I do with my Pentax raw files. I get this error message: When I connect my Z5 directly to my Windows PC via a USB cable, the read images appear normally as thumbnails. I am having the same problem with NEF's from my Z5 downloaded to my PC via my card reader. NEF's from my Nikon D750 work as usual in Photo Downloader, showing previews that I can sort through. This has not worked for me. Changed settings, restart, restored prefs... Nothing has worked. Have wasted several hours of production time trying to undo a bug in an Adobe update. Learned my lession. Will NEVER update PS CC again. Wish I had gone by my previous rule, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." My optimized for PS system started running slow, rendering is glitchy at times, and there's no scrubby zoom feature, which I use daily. But how do you go back? Are older versions available for download/downgrade? My PC system: i5-10600K MSI GeForce GTX 1660 6GB 64GB (2x32GB) DDR4 3600Mhz 3 PCIe M.2 drives, one ea. for app, scratch, and media. I, too, am having this problem after last update. This is why I rarely update PS when a new version is available, instead I usually wait a few weeks or months until there are no reports of bugs. Drawing a circle tends to be an ellipse, and a line can track differently from you hand motion when drawing. Fortunately Wacom allows you to set up a quick-key on the tablet to toggle mapping the tablet between dual monitors and the single monitor you are editing upon. I feel your pain, Joey -- or rather, your eyestrain headaches. There must be some reason why Adobe is ignoring this issue, an issue that was once so important in software design -- an easy & quick to read UI. I guess this issue is going the way of the tactile keyboard, when marketing "cool & different" is more important than usable features. Sales/marketing drives product development as does keeping costs low. It would probably cost Adobe less than $1 per customer to do something about this issue by rewriting some code, but the bean-counters have nixed it to keep profits high. Adobe is now a monopoly and is simply behaving like one, as the CC model is a classic example. So it's up to users to help each other the best we can. Here's how I'm dealing with the problem. I have resorted to using dual monitors -- a high rez 24" "image editing" monitor and a low rez (1280 x1024) 19" "palette" monitor where I have all my tool panels and the tool icons. That has helped a bit, along with configuring my Wacom tablet's keys & radial menu w. commonly used PS menu items. ... View more

I'm glad this thread got revived, because it needs to be as we still wait for a solution from Adobe. I too struggle daily with eyestrain due to the small font sizes in menus on my high-rez Dell UltraSharp monitor. I produce gallery-size fine art photographs and need the high-rez view for editing my images. I already have UI text font set to Large in Prefs. The trend in GUI design is said to help  minimize "distractions" of the interface so the viewer can better concentrate on the image. I thought that was what the "Full Screen" toggle was for?  Sometimes I'm tempted to go back to CS4 running under Mac OS Snow Leopard on my old computer. I would like to upgrade to an even larger and higher rez monitor, but I don't dare do it now. Until there is a better scalable menu-font & icon option in preferences, my not so bad eyesight has hit the wall with the current PS user interface. ... View more
