Is the policy going forward strict moderation of tools? What if I use your tools to create something Adobe deems unsavory or problematic? Do they reserve the right to delete my PSD file? This was always the fear with the cloud-based model and it's a bummer to actually see lawyers dictating creative policy. You should strongly considering taking off the handcuffs and letting creatives make what they want to make. I don't trust the Adobe Council of Ethics to rule properly on my creative work.

If these substantial growing pains are building to an eventual better product then Adobe needs to explain why a newer product is buggier and less efficient than the previous version and then explain why 2023 didn't stay in beta until these issues were ironed out. There's not a single way 2023 is better for my workflow and several in which it is worse. We've all spent thousands on Adobe products so we maintain the right to complain when our professional work is interrupted.

Android OS is similar. Android 12 made the clock unreadable and unchangeable. It also added swipes and taps to the most basic functions like screen brightness. Why? For the sake of being "new"

Thanks, Subbi It's hard to imagine this was thoroughly tested or compared to the 2022 version of Bridge which works great. This might sound stupid, but why mess with something that already works very well? Is it change for the sake of change or is there some groundwork here that could substantially imrpove performance in the future? My biggest issue is how jittery it is. My placement within a folder jumps around erratically, especially when exiting a full-screen preview or dragging a selection to a new spot within the gallery. You should strongly consider reverting back too 2022 while 2023 spends another 6 months in beta testing. God bless!

After struggling with 2023, I've reverted back as well. It's glitchy and jittery and nothing works properly. The most frustrating thing is how my placement jumps around unexpectedly. I'll be doing a screen-size preview of a photo and hit spacebar to go back to the thumbnail view and be someplace completely different. What a mess. I'd be so embaraased if I had worked on this when Bridge 2022 worked fine.

Mine shows the path as well. And Batch WORKS on a single image, but if I run it when 2+ files are open it doesn't work at all. Try running that batch with 5 files open and see if any of them return to LR for you.

Hopefully a helpful insight. If I have a single file opened then the Save Action works, even in Automate->Batch The single file returns to LR But if there are 2 files open in PS and I run the Save Action in Automate->Batch, neither file is returned to LR.

The JPGs were just brought in to show the actions I'm using and so I could bring up the Automate->Batch screen. The files returned are .tif Here's an actual screenshot of a CR2 sent to PS from LR. Action fully expanded.

Great question. And these are RAW (CR2) files. If I run the action on one file directly from the action pane then it works perfectly. My file returns to LR. So the hitch is in the AUTOMATE->BATCH system somewhere I'm shocked more people don't batch save back into LR. I haven't been able to Google an elegant solution to this.

I tried it to the same result of my files not returning to Lightroom. I always thought actions were just macros to save time, but for some reason CTRL+S is being turned into some similar command by Actions that is incompatible with LR. If somebody can hack this for me it would be greatly appreciated. Batch saving is such a time saver.

Thanks for the response. Yes, when I save individually using Ctrl+S those files are getting sent back into LR no problem. But if that Ctrl+S is included in my action so I can batch apply it to all of the open files LR is not getting those. Here you can see the action consists exclusively of CTRL+S And that in Automate->Batch I'm doing nothing but applying that to open files

I'm running into a unique problem that no amount of Google has been able to solve for me. I do a bulk of my editing in LR Classic, but for certain groups of photos I give extra attention in PS. Here's my issue: If I create an action that includes SAVE and CLOSE in PS, those files DO NOT get sent back to LR. But if I manually save each one they DO get sent back to LR. Is there anything I can do to batch save my changes in PS so they get sent back to LR? It would help my workflow tremendously. Thank you!

I take it back. Tried to export a longer video (26 min) and I get a memory leak every time. I have no idea why or how to resolve it. This is really hurting my workflow so a solution would be much appreciated. Why is Premiere trying to use so much RAM? Shouldn't the application pace itself?

I think my issue has been resolved. I did fresh installs of Premiere 2019 and then updated OSX to Mojave. Seems to be exporting fine now.

I haven't touched Premiere in awhile, so I'll try exporting again today to see if the problem persists. i did recently uninstall it completely and reinstall it, so fingers crossed.

I have a Mid2015 Macbook Pro running Sierra 10.12.6 16GB RAM Running the latest version of Premiere Pro CC 2019 All of a sudden I'm getting a "Your System has run out of application memory" message from OSX while exporting in Premiere CC 2018 and Premiere CC 2019. If I watch the activity monitor during an export the Memory usage of Premiere starts growing slowly. Then, all of a sudden about 25% of the way through, the memory usage jumps to 12GB then 15GB then 20GB and finally OSX forces me to close Premiere prior to my export completing. Everything has been updated. Caches have been cleared. I've tried everything from changing the rendering from Mercury Open CL to Software Only... to turning off Syncing... Basically all of the older fixes I've found on the message boards don't work for my issue. I've even tried rendering the project prior to export with the same memory leak occurring. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
