I'm having the same problem. Have tried everything. Changing the video preview res helped for a little bit, but then it just came back. Moving the media to my SSD did nothing.

I never had this problem, but here we are at 19.1.6 and I have this problem. I get this error if the PS window is maximized. If I open anything with PS not maximized then it will open.

This thread is four years old judging from the last post. It is still the same issue that Adobe has yet to address: nebulous error message. Printer and OS have nothing to do with it since I can print just fine out of PS and every other single program that I have to the exact same printer.. as I mentioned in my post (printing to PS works). If it were a Win 10 issue, PS wouldn't work either, at least that is my understanding. Outlining text had no effect. However, it is worth mentioning that depending on which forum you post things on you either get yelled out for posting an issue that already has a thread made or you get yelled at for posting in an old thread. Since the main issue here seems to be an error message that gives zero information to the user (back in 2010) I felt it relevant to necro this same thread since the same zero information warning still exists.

Wow, so here I am, 4 years after the last post on here, attempting to print a label that I have printed many times already out of Illustrator just recently, and I get the same, meaningless "Can't Print this Illustration" error. Tried the above workarounds to no avail. Turns out every file I open now has this issue. Exporting to PS works, but not really ideal.

The issue has returned. And it only took a couple of days. I don't want to be resetting my preferences every couple of days to deal with this problem. I hope Adobe can manage to fix this.

I'm using the latest version of PS and whenever I open a file it is zoomed way out so it is very tiny. I have to zoom in every time. Fit to screen simply zoom out again, making the image really small. I am working on a Samsung Super Ultrawide monitor. I don't know if this is part of the issue or not.

Thank you. It worked.. of course it also crashed Premiere What about proportionally resizing though? This technique doesn't seem to address that. There was originally the "he old hold-Shift-near-a-mask-point-to-proportionally-resize-it trick", which seems to still be in Premiere, sort of - when I hold down the shift near the vertex the cursor changes to what looks like a proportional edit icon, but you can't use it.

This is not working for me. I hold down the shift and click and drag and absolutely nothing happens. The cursor does, in fact, change to the arrows to show me that it wants to resize, but nothing happens.

I found the issue. I can't believe it, but I found it. If my project browser is set to Icon view rather than List view I will get this behavior. Setting to list view, thus far, solves the problem. Please Adobe, please fix this.

Doesn't do a thing. Problem still persists. In fact, I created a brand new project and imported my clips. No rhyme nor reason, at 21 object in the project window this behavior starts all over again. Doesn't matter what clips I use.

I've been using Premiere for some time now with no issues. However, today I have run into a most disturbing problem. If I add one more clip to my project all hell brakes loose. I can no longer see the play cursor move as I scrub through the timeline (though I can scrub). I cannot select any clips in my sequence. Clips do not show previews if I mouse over them and slide the mouse. Bottom line: the software becomes completely unusable. This is the first time we have use the dynamic link library with premiere so I thought maybe that might be causing the problem. Deleted the linked file and added the file that was causing the original problem. Everything worked... I thought the problem was solved... but adding just one more clip, again, made premiere go haywire. This is incredible aggravating as hours of work are being lost. If I minimize premiere and bring up back the screen is completely grey. Deleting the last added clip (doesn't matter what I add as a clip) return premiere to a working state. Anyone know what is going on? Please help!
