Nearly half of the assets in the entire Adobe database are AI Assets, and this dramatic growth has occurred in just over 3 years. Adobe had definitely opened the floodgates to AI assets, but for many months now has taken a more moderate approach, slowing down the database growth by placing a weekly limit on submissions and rejecting many of them based on similarity to existing images or quality issues.
Nevertheless, it is the Buyers who decide whether they favor AI designs or "real-life" designs. Many designers have stated adamantly that they won't use AI assets in their designs and many agencies forbid them. A few months ago Adobe added a sticky filter to the search interface to make it easier for such designers to screen AI assets out of their search results.

Don't let the availability of AI assets in the database scare you off. I submit only real photographs of real places taken with a real camera, and my sales have continued to grow even during the onslaught of AI competition.
