Hi, "You can try disabling the option to Use Graphics Processor from Photoshop by going to Preferences, then Performance. Once done, quit & relaunch Photoshop to check if that helps." This doesn't help.

Hi, Before yesterday PS worked perfectly. What I've done already: Added PS to Accessibility list, check mark included. Also full disk access granted. Restarted MBP. PS memory usage is set at 90% Your help is much appreciated.

Guys, The fact that LrC indicates only a few of the files while in Library workspace threw me off. Indeed, when importing, all files are shown, as usual. Sorry for causing any confusion and I take my words back about LrC letting me down. Why is it though that LrC only shows a few of the files and not all of them with a number after external HD, when in Library workspace?

When in Library workspace > Folders menu on the far left: where it indicates the computer HD > Volumes > external hard drive(s) Before the issue at hand LrC showed exactly how many files there were on my external HD. Now it only shows a few.

I'm well aware that LrC is not a file browser. I used the Finder and Bridge example to illustrate that the folders do actually exist. However, before the current issue, LrC did show all the folders on the hard drive and not only a couple of them. Furthermore, I have never had to import any folder in the past.

Hi Joao, I have an almost similar issue. LrC does recognise the external hard drive, but only shows a couple of the folders. Both Finder and Bridge (version 10.1.0.163) show all the folders. LrC has never ever let me down, until now. This is definitely out of left field. MacOS Catalina version 10.15.5 LrC 9.3 release Camera Raw 12.3

I've run a test. It appears that after I add Keyword Tags and EXIF metadata the star ratings disappear. So the photos don't disappear, the star rating goes to zero (no rating). If you have a lot of pictures in your collection, like I had in my situation, it looks like you've lost your photos, but they're still there. They're just not rated anymore, after you add Keyword Tags and EXIF metadata. Which is odd.

Selondon, The filters were applied. The photos disappeared after adding Keyword Tags and EXIF metadata. Before that the photos could be found by using filters.

I think the best way to go about selecting photos is to pre-select in Brigde. Save in folder. Import folder into Lightroom. That's it. No issue with losing photos by applying (what seems to be handy) ratings. Maybe it's a noob thing but ratings don't work for me at the moment.

I've rated some photos by giving them stars. After adding Keyword Tags and EXIF metadata these photos just magically disappear from my collection. I'm sure they're somewhere in Lightroom. Where can I find them? Thanks in advance.

If there's no sequence to insert and/or overwrite to, the keyboard shortcuts don't work. So: A) cmd + N on a Mac (or ctrl + N on a PC) to create a new sequence. Mark in and out points in the source panel, press comma (insert) or period (overwrite). Or B) Mark in and out points in the source panel. Drag and drop the selection from the source panel to the timeline. By doing so Premiere Pro automatically creates a sequence. Once a sequence is created you can use the keyboard shortcuts (comma and/or period). Hope this helps.
