Adobe Error when Export PDF to Microsoft Word When attempting to export PDFs to MS Word, I receive the following error: Adobe Acrobat Reader could not open "A9kfaan3_1b7tki2_sg8.tmp" because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded). If I hit "ok", then it will convert it. Furthermore, when I had previously (before renewing my subscription to the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader) performed the same process with the same file, I never received any type of error.

How do I move the "Convert PDF to...." Menu from the left side to the right side? How do I completely remove the "edit" "select text" menu, "comments" menu and "page number" menus completely from the app?

I used to have a subscription with Adobe Acrobat Export PDF. When I opened up a PDF, Adobe would automatically open the option to convert the PDF to a Word Doc on the right toolbar in ONE STEP (not several). I have recently subscribed to Adobe Acrobat Pro and this option does not come up as a short cut and the process takes 3-4 clicks. How do I enable Adobe Pro to automatically bring up this shortcut/option to convert to Word in ONE step? Also, is there a keyboard shortcut for this?

Windows 11 Pro. Adobe Acrobat Reader ver 2023-008-20421 64 bit. Previously, when I opened up a PDF document, the "export" feature would automatically open up on the right side of the document. Now, I have to manually click the very small arrow key on the right side to bring up the export feature. I have clicked on the small arrow to open the export feature once and then went to Edit > Preferences > Documents > Select the option 'Restore last view settings when reopening documents' and 'remember current state of tools pane' > Clicked OK. This did not work. Does anyone know how to now have the export feature automatically appear when i open up a pdf?

Acrobat Reader: updated to latest version Windows 10 Pro MS Office 2016: updated to latest version, ran repair and did uninstall/re install. When converting pdf to word and chosing word .docx, Acrobat saves the document as a .docx on my drive, but, when I open the file, it opens in "compatability mode." Which I then have to manually convert to .docx for every single file I convert. This only happens with Adobe. I don't experience this issue with any other software. I want to be able to have this default to open as a .docx file.

I run dual monitors. Everytime I open Acrobat Reader, it opens on my primary monitor. I move it to the secondary monitor. Then, if I close and reopen Acrobat, it opens again on the primary. I would like it to only open and stay on the secondary monitor. I have tried to minimize and maximize Acrobat. Nothing seems to work. Frustrating. Can anyone help?

Windows 10 Pro MS Office 2016 Adobe Reader DC v 2020.012.20043 (updated) I click on the "mail" icon to email a pdf as an attachment and send the email via Outlook. When I go back to Outlook to send another email, it will not work. It's locked. No error message. Once I close Adobe, then Outlook will work properly. Please assist.

Thanks Amal. I understand it's a feature of Word and that I can "re-save" it. Also, I have .docx as the default save format in Word. Furthermore, when I'm in Adobe and converting to Word, I have chosen the feature to save as a .docx file. But as originally stated, it saves it in compatability mode. Adobe is the only software that forces it to be saved in compatability mode and I'm trying to avoid having to resave every single file. Thanks in advance for any help as this is very time consuming.

A short time ago, the keyboard shortcut to share a file was one keystroke away. After the last 2 updates, it's now a 10 second 4 step process. Totally inefficient and unacceptable. Anyone know how to make this more efficient.

You keep replying to my posts with resolutions that involve changing my registry. Please stop. I have stated to you several times that I don't believe I should pay for a product that worked prior to an update and now, I must change my registry (which can be harmful to my computer) in order to make the product work as it did when I agreed to pay for it.

Previous to the update, one could simply use the shortcut Alt+F+L+L to share/send the file via selected default email client. Now, once you hit Alt+F+L, you HAVE to click "send as attachment" then click "continue". Very time consuming. Does anyone know of the new shortcut keys to share a file? If not, can Adobe add this shortcut back?

Clicking email link in pdf takes me to my default browser (chrome), not to my default email client (outlook). This used to work, now it doesn't windows 10 chrome broswer outlook 2013. acrobat 2017.009.20044
