I am experiencing the exact same issues, tried to assert only half (16) the RAM to Premiere, it still uses up entire RAM and crashes. (Win7) Am sitting with a client unable to even start up his Project. During loading media Premiere maxes out RAM and the Machine crashes. or just use the pen tool with track keyframes. this poor orphan get's used so rarely, also you can just click to add a keyframe, not Ctrl+click like you have to with the selection tool. lasso track keyframes, Alt-click to move in place, ctrl+click to adjust Bezier... so many neat and fast uses... it's a nice and friendly tool and if youd don't at least lasso Track-Keyframes with it, it will only go the way of the Dodo in CS7, and who would want that? ... Hi Dragonspear. I recreated this exactly the way you did it. (i rarely use track keyframes, so you had me hooked ) the way, you did it it doesn't work. then again, track keyframes, as i understand are for mixing. what i did might seem a bit like a "work"around, but after i tried lassoing and did not succeed, (as expected) i hit Pos1 set the track1 in audio mixer to zero, set it to write and hit play, got the coffee off the stove, poured some, when i came back, i had 2 keyframes, both at 0. this might be just a little help but at least, you can easily get rid of a sequence or all of your track- keyframes and it might work until someone point's you to a "real" resolution or to the feature request form, if noone else has the right solution. i would also think it would be nice to be able to lasso those --- ...and keep smiling ... You are sure, you run your applications as admin? - i mean not just being logged in as admin, but in your premiere etc. exe's Right clicked properties > compatibility > run as admin... ? yepp. me too. i've only recently been getting these errors (didn't have them with Colorista 1) so i searched for solutions here before contacting RG. Found this thread, quite an old problem as it seems. Still i'd like to see it solved, since i like Colorista and am not sure what speedgrade will bring in comparison to what it was before adobe bought it. But since DaVinci is a different league ( i leave it to the "real" colorists), the MB Suite is quite a charm for quick grading and i use it regularly. maybe too few people file bug reports at RG since the problem seems only to be the error message itself... 😕 ... I had the same problem quite a while ago. Do You use ZoneAlarm or a similair Firewall system? I think i remember allowing "dynamiclinkmanager" in my firewall to act as a server / allow all access did the trick. Give it a try. (i had 2 instances of dynamiclinkmanager show up in the zone alarm Application Control.) The Dynamic Link Server Program needs access from one Program to another (AE / PR / EN / ME) and therefore some Firewalls mistake it as a threat, since some malware does a similair thing... --- -and keep smiling... felix ...
