I have a logo with four circles. Each circle has a level of transparency so the colors blend where there is overlap, depending on which circle is on top will determine the color of the overlap. Right now may layers are stacked like this (each circle is set to 90% opacity and Color blend mode): purple circle green circle blue circle red circle This result looks like this: Starting with the purple and going clockwise each circle is below the previous but above the following, except for the red circle that is below the previous (blue) and the following (purple). I am wondering if there is a way to stack layers in a circular fashion? I was able to create the look I want through live paint, notice the color difference in the overlap of the red and purple: However, I am now looking to animate the logo in After Effects, and if I could figure out how to communicate to AE how I want the circles to stack it would be a lot easier to have the shapes interact and express the right colors.

I have an animation that I created and exported out as a gif a couple weeks ago. Now I want to export it out as a video so I can put it on Instagram. However, ever time it comes out black. I have attached an image of my Composition Settings, Export Settings, and original gif. Thank you! Thank you!

Where is Object Style? Sometimes when I drop an image in the frame the image goes into the frame as its original size, and other times it will fit the proportions of the frame. I like when it goes in at the original size so I can adjust to show the portion of the image I want.

I am putting an image into an image frame in Indesign. When I highlight the frame the dimensions are 4" x 4". Here are the specs of the image when I pull it into Photoshop: When I drop the image into the frame on InDesign and highlight it the dimensions are now 4" x 2.6". Why? Cheers!

Thanks for the feedback Dave. I moved the assets like you suggested and instantly I saw the difference in the AE file. However, now when I export my all my text and lines just are blurry. Is it how I'm exporting the file? This gif was made in photoshop from the exported AE video. However, the video is blurry just the same. Cheers!

Dave thanks for the reply. I would agree with the compression, but the blur is also noticeable in AE before I export. By move a half pixel you simply mean select the asset and change its position? Cheers!

I created a progress bar type animation that uses 3 lines. After creating the first line I duplicated (copy and paste) it twice. After exporting the animation the original line appears crisp while the others are blurry. It also looks like the text next to the blurry lines is a little fuzzy. Even the top of the 5 looks more crisp than the bottom.

I have a text that outputs the value of a slider I have set up. I would like the text to change position when it goes from 1 digit to 2 digits so that it will stay centered. I was trying to create an If/then statement to do so. Here is how far I've come, I may be way off: if (thisComp.layer("Control").effect("Slider Control")("Slider")>18) 956, 532; So If the slider value is greater than 18 then the text position will be 956, 532. Hey Dave thanks for the input. I exported the video as a Quicktime movie in both ProRes422 and png. Unfortunately, the bars where still there as well as some blurring on the coin, see below. Export settings are below as well.

Hey Hey...I know this questions has come up again and again. I've read the threads, applied the solutions and ended up like the rain forest..stumped . I set out to create a spinning coin. I made it with 3d layers in After Effects. Below I have include my Composition Settings and Export Settings, also a screen shoot of the black bars when it is in Quicktime and a screen shot of it in After Effects.
