Before the new updates, I would extend the bottom of the photo to make room for a reflection. When I chose the subject it always made the reflection under the subject. Now when I try the same thing it give me reflections of nothing associated with with subject. Attaching screen shots.The first one is the original, the second is the selection and the third is what was generated. I'm not sure what changed after the new updates.

I updated to the latest Photoshop 2025 and Camera Raw. I was following a tutorial on new features with Camera Raw, but when I clicked 'detail', there was no option for Denoise (all the options to change each are there). In the tutorial instructions said after clicking 'detail' there should be an option for Denoise to click (auto denoise) was not there.

I thought I made that perfectly clear in my original post. So I will state it again. I have a photo on my desktop that I want to import to a folder in my catalog. I open up the folder in my catalog and scroll down below the catalog to ‘import’, tick the import button. That is when I get the message I posted in my original post. I don’t know how to make it any clearer. Mac Book Pro, Sonoma.

I have no movies. I don't even know where to find that folder. I need more information on how to change 'the destination folder". So what I am trying to do in LR Classic is import to a folder in my catalog. I selected the correct folder for import, but when I tick import, the message above shows up. I've not had this problem before.

I reset my preference and lost most of my catalog. I went to 'Open catalog', navigated to where my last backup was before I reset my preferences, but things are grey-ed out. I've attached a screen shot of the catalog I want to restore. How do I get my backup restored? Thanks in advance for your help.

A little late getting back to you, but I pulled up my applications. I see I have Lightroon CC and Lightroom Classic. What I use is Lightroom Classic. I tried to pull up Lightroom CC and it brought up the 'uninstall' option. It did not open the program. Am I safe to uninstall Lightroom CC?

In reading the responses to this from 2020, it seems at that stage, Lightroom Classic does not sync photos to the Cloud - only Lightroom does this. But here it is 2022 and when I exit Lightroom Classic, I see it is syncing to the cloud. So my question is, since I do not use Lightroom (only Classic) could I safely delete Lightroom? Thank you in advance for your responses.

No matter how I launch a photo in PS 21.1, it never shows up in the editing screen, but it shows in layers panel as 'background'. I launch from Lightroom or open an image on my computer, it doesn't show up. So thankfully I still have PS 2019. That is what I have to use until I know how to resolve the issue.

I've searched the web and cannot find an answer. I found many about saving ONE layer as a style, but not a series of layers on one photo I've created. I do not want to re-invent the wheel, so if there is a way to save all those layers in Styles, I would like input on how to do that. Thanks in advance for your answers.

I had to import my .dng files from another external drive. All photos were imported but not with folder names, only dates. All of the photos when accessed through the library module come up with this message when I click on the small message icon on the top right of the photo: The metadata for this photo has been changed by another application. Should Lightroom import settings from disk or overwrite disk settings with those from the catalog? I'm not sure which option to select: settings from disk or overwrite disk settings. Any help will be appreciated. (I am using desktop version of Lightroom Classic CC)

I tried the above, to no avail. I finally went on the Adobe site and it took FOREVER to find the link to chat with someone. When I finally found it, the tech support was prompt and efficient. I had to give him permission to take over my computer. I don't know what he did, but he fixed it. But thank you for your response. I wish that had worked for me, but it didn't.

I tried going to the Adobe site to re-download CC. It says it is downloading, but IT IS NOT! There is a download icon on the top right of my Mac, which should show it is downloading, but the only thing it shows is my recent downloads, nothing for CC. I tried all the help menus in Adobe, but it keeps sending me in a loop. Back to the same screen, which is no help! Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

I am migrating to a Mac Pro from a PC. I have a CC subscription and want to download it to the new Mac, but when I click on the downloaded file, a screen pops up with my name, and asks me for a password. I put in the Adobe password, but it "bumps" up and down, as if the password is wrong. I've tried this several times. What should I do?
