Adobe XD

When my students are designing for a chosen phones artboard, they often forget to consider the area in the top of the screen where the front camera is located. Can Adobe make guidelines for this area?

I download the Adobe XD app on my iPad Pro gen 3. I needed it for a class and got a free subscription from the course. I downloaded the app and attached the new subscription to my email I have used with adobe previously. The app opens but there is no way for me to start any new projects or anything. Is the app not a full version like desktop? Do I need to use a desktop to use Adobe XD as an actual program? I have attached a picture of what the program looks like when I open it. Is there something I am missing? The subscription is set and I checked the actual website to double check that I have the subscription attached to this email. Thank you for your time. Sorry if its something simple I'm missing.  

How do I drag a corner of a type box and scale the type with box?also, many indesign type control methods seem to be missing, icrease leading, kerning, superscript.no paragraph formatting options, space after paragraph etcI would love to do alot more of my designs in xd, but it seems to be missing some features 

Is there a current way to set the exact spacing between two objects? I would love to be able to type in and even lock the spacing of objects and groups of objects. 

I've been using Adobe XD since its conception around 2017 - 2018, depending on your OS. When the product launched is was the bare bones of a web design software to replace Fireworks and compete with Sketch. We were promised monthly updates, and I had assumed with Adobe's expertise XD would become the gold standard in its sector, as with Photoshop & Illustrator, to name a few. The reality is the monthly updates offer little new features, and some months are just 'improvements and bug fixes. The XD the community provide excellent feedback on features and enhancements, so there's a clear development path for the XD team. Is anyone else frustrated with the slow speed at which this product progresses?

Hi all, Does somebody know how to replace in bulk adobe cloud assets (for us to use in XD)? We can replace/overwrite every asset manually one by one but we have a huge image libery that will have color corrections so we would like to bulk overwrite all of these images (assets) in one shot. Currently if we would dag and drop the new files, this would create a duplicate (not overwrite) even if the files have the same filename. Does somebody know the answer on this? This would be a lifesaver! Thanks

Hi Everyone,   I got one issue with my Abobe XD. The working space/ area turned black. Please help me as soon as possible to resolve the problem.   I tried uninstalling /installing but didn't get a solution.   I am using macOS Monterey, Version 12.6.   Thank in Advance

Hi!   I have just learned how to use the hover feature in Adobe XD and I am wondering how I can do the same with the photo and detailed info in the example below. I have figured out how to use hover with just the image but I would like to add the text and additional elements to the hover.   Is it possible to create a hover state with both the image and the text so that whenever a user hovers over either part, it will transition to the hover state? Hello, I have a component library in a separate XD file from the file that I'm designing my main pages. I have updated my main component but when I go to the file that I am working on, the component cannot be updated.The error message that I am getting is "Component 'Button/Primary" was not imported. Republish the library from the source document".I have republished everything, this component works perfectly fine to other design XD files. I face this issue only to this specific XD file. Something else to mention is that I can see that my main component has a different name from the one that I cannot update. The main one has changed through the update of the groups so the naming is just "Primary", then the other one that I am trying to change is "Button / Primary".Last thing to mention is that I cannot rename any component or delete something :S Does anyone have any similar experience? Any advice would be extremely helpful. Thank you in advance all. 

I have an issue.I was working on the XD file that I saved on the local storage and I generated three different links each one for a different layout: tablet, mobile, and desktop.The XD file on my pc is now lost and I can't find it anymore.Is there any chance that I can get my file Xd again?I didn't save anything on the cloud storage... my bad... Hope someone can help me 

I am prototyping an image carousel with a forward and backward arrow. I for some reason am unabe to set the destination for a button to go to other states. It only gives me the opton to link it to other artboards. How can I fix this?

Why can't I download adobe xd free plan now?

I made this component with multiple states and interactive transitions between states. (Toggle state between "checked" and "unchecked") Then, I made repeat grids of the component What I want to do is drag & drop text to automatically fill the "Title" label. However, it ended up filling with the same text. It works when it was NOT component, though ungrouping component disables interactions between states. How can I fix this?

I have two tables, one behind the other. These tables consist of separate rows. I want to add a row from the table below to the table above by drag and drop method. When I try to use the drag animation it reloads the same page and does not switch to the other linked page. I'm not sure what causes this. I will be glad if you help

Hi Everybody, Im doing a final project form my certificate and i want to make a scrollable bar that enlarge the icons that are either on te center or the right side of the screen so they get highlighted to be pressed and seen better by seniors or people with weak vision. Is there any way to do this? I know how to do scrollable bars but not one that enlarge or zooms on a specific part of the screen or either drawing a bar that have a larger side to function as the part where the user press the button.   Could somebody give me ahint or an idea how to do this?   <Title renamed by moderator>

I cannot update my documents with my library. Steps I have taken to resolve this issue:- updated XD - restarted XD numerous times- updated the library numerous times- tried updating all components in document at once- tried updating individual components- restared computer (MAC)- updated computer (Monterey 12.6)  Please help! I need to work! thanks 🙂

Hallo ihr Kreativen da draußen, 🙂ich habe seit Anfang Oktober 2022 das Problem, dass Adobe XD Probleme beim Laden der Clouddateien hat und mich immer wieder abmeldet. Der Fehler auf der Startseite lautet "Fehler beim Laden" und meldet mich sofort wieder ab, wenn ich neue Projekte anlege oder Alte öffne. Danach hängt sich XD auf und läuft trotzt Schließung des Fensters im Task Manager weiter. Das Problem war nach dem Update auf Version 55.0.12 kurzzeitig verschwunden, tauchte aber eine Woche später wieder auf. Da ich auf einem Firmenrechner arbeite, muss ich mich über CiscoAnyConnect verbinden und habe keine Admin-Rechte, weswegen ich nur bedingt die Lösungen in den Foren umsetzen kann. Ich habe bereits folgende Schritte unternommen:Bei Creative Cloud (Desktop) An- und AbgemeldetCC geupdatedCC alle Schriften deaktiviertCC-Neustart mit strg+alt+rSynchronisierung angehalten, wieder gestartet und Ordnerpfad verschobenXD geupdatedXD deinstalliert und neu installiertXD über Startmenü

Hi!I can't edit text. Im trying to reduce space between lines, but after 40, it does not show the change, it stays in 40, only shows when I finish using the editing tool. Also I cant put different line spaces in the same text box. This is a huge problem for my project, please help

Every time I click on the text, try to copy it, paste it, or raise the font size, XD freezes, and I have to hit Ctrl+S to get it to unfreeze. Even saving files takes time. My current version is 54.1.12

Mac OS X (12.5.1) XD: 54.1.12.1 x64   It seems the color pickers are no longer functioning (all of them). They are shown in the UI, but are non-functioning. Thoughts?
