Adobe XD

I have created a lo-fi wireframe protoptye for a website design. I have recieved feedback suggesting that I add a back button but that does not make sense to me as a back button will not be on the final design/ internet browsers already have them. I did not add the back button in my wireframe becasue all internet browsers provide a back button for you. My question is, how can I portray via my prototype to the stakeholders or participants in my usability tests that they will be able to go back via their internet browser. Im a way I am asking how designers have gone about the back function while building prototype website designs? Is there a template where I can plug in an internet browse to my prototpyes and add the back buttons to the functionality of my prototype? https://xd.adobe.com/view/d4095d65-24d6-498b-bf11-a4025bd02fc8-815a/   

Hi all, When I export my artboards to HTML format in Adobe XD, the transitions and actions which I defined for each page, would not show up on the HTML format. Can anyone help me in this matter?   Thanks again!

There seems to be no logic as to when and why main components vanish only to be seen if recalled. I've just been working on 2 very similar set-ups where I've made a component out of a section of a page.In one case the main component stayed where it was made (the desired action really as otherwise it becomes a pain to edit the main component in place later on, making it fit in its context, using layout grid etc...!)In the second case, it instantly vanished and was replaced with an instance. This behaviour is bizarre and has a lot of associated problems.Firstly it is only by chance that I noticed that I wasn't editing the main component anymore which is a HUGE deal.Secondly, now I'm in a situation where I need to reassemble everything so that I can edit the main component in place. This workflow is just WRONG by any standard, it doubles the amount of work and opens the doors to many problems down the line. 

If I have an active element under an inactive graphic element, in the preview the underlying active element remains active instead of not being clickable even partially.

I'm getting this strange behaviour when I sometimes click "stack" on a group. A new group is created inside the first one but it doesn't allow me to specify spacing, the field for that is not there. I click stack again, it creates yet another group inside the second one and so on ad infinitum but no stack spacing is ever available.

After I've been having ongoing issues often not being able to type either in a text box or renaming layers etc, it's now only got worse with the problem happening every five minutes. Now Xd is freezing for extended periods at a time, especially when editing text. I now have a frozen document. I can switch windows and edit a different XD document. I wish there was some focus on QA before adding bells and whistles.

Hey guys, wondering if anyone else had the same issue...  I shared a cloud file (originally created by me) with. my colleagues but they are seeing a messy design compared to what I see on my own screen: As you guys can see, the design is broken in a few places on the left screen (main title bounding box is different and misalignment on prices, reviews line and call-to-action button. I have a hunch that this issue is being caused by the fonts (either cloud or local, not sure how those 2 cohabitate), but we checked them on both computers and they are all the same.Anyone has had the same issue or any ideas of what could be happening? As Head of UI for the company I work for this is obviously not ideal. I am hoping it's a user error rather than issues with Adobe XD, but honestly at this point, I am seriously considering moving the whole company to Figma.Thanks in advance for any hints or ideas guys!J.

Hello Adobe Support,   I've been working with our IT department because my Adobe XD software doesn't allow me to drag and drop images into Adobe XD. I have to manually import them and then mask the images with shapes. I have been following your support forums, and we updated the GPU on my laptop and we're still running into issues. I am receiving a canceled symbol when trying to drag the images into XD. I am running Adobe XD on Windows 10. All day I've been getting this bug where every once in a while I'm unable to type anything in XD, whether using the type tool or renaming layers, styles etc...There's nothing wrong with my keyboard as I'm typing this while XD doesn't allow me to type anything.A restart fixes the problem for a while before it reoccurs.I'm using Windows 10 and XD 54.0.12.5

I'm not sure if this is a limitation of stacks, but they don't seem to be responsive in preview mode. In Design, I have come 'card' components which have been grouped into a Stack. The components have a default state (expanded), and also a minimised (collapsed) state. Toggling between the two states in Design mode works fine.   But in preview mode, they aren't responsive. Any ideas on how to fix this?    

I have a text box that needs to be 460px wide. If I select and drag the handle (while zooming right in) it jumps from 458px to 464px however many times I try. If input the desired dimensions in the transform panel, as soon as I press enter after inputting 460, it jumps to 464px...To top it all, the 460 mark ends exactly on one of my layout grid columns so why is not snapping?

I'm a UI designer who works with a team of graphic designers and we have this problem:When designing pages in XD that use Google Fonts (that my developers will use) there is an inconsistency in leading between Google Fonts directly from Google and Google Fonts that are loaded into Adobe Fonts. I tell our designers to deactivate Adobe Fonts when designing a page that needs to use free Google Fonts because it won't match up for the developers when coding. But it's been difficult to remind all the designers and production artists since they also work on print designs. So my question is, why the change in line-height/leading?In my screenshot you can see on the left is Roboto Bold activated through Adobe, and on the right is my local copy of Google's version. The reason you can't see the last line of copy is due to the text box being too short for the Adobe version of the font.I have come across this problem with other Google Fonts as well but can't remember off the top of my head.Thanks in

I must be missing something obvious here because this seems strangely hard to achieve what I want... I'm really new to XD, but have many years of PS, AI & ID experience. I created a group, then a component in XD. It's attached here. I made these components a little too large on the page, and I want to them all to be smaller. So, I select the component or components and try to resize. But when resizing, it seems to be using responsive resize and I end up with a jumbled mess (attached) instead of the entire component or group just getting resized as it does in Photoshop, for instance. What am I doing wrong? How do I turn off responsive resize and resize as I'd like to?  

So I make a component with a hover state, for some unknown reason the hover state is not working when viewing the prototype.I recreate it the component again. EXACTLY THE SAME as the previous one. Now it works.I have to keep making things several times before they work as they are meant to. Why is this?

Hi!Ich bin schon lange auf der Suche nach einer Lösung für mein Scroll-Problem.Ich möchte ganz einfach die GESAMTE Seite horizontal scrollbar machen, nicht nur Teile oder bestimmte Bereiche. Also eine ganze Website, die sich aufbaut und verscheidene klickbare Teile und Interaktionen im Laufe hat, aber eben nicht von oben nach unten scrollt sondern von links nach rechts.Man kann ja in Adobe XD direkt bei den Maßen der Zeichenfläche auch angeben, ob ein vertikaler Bildlauf möglich sein soll und die Viewport-Höhe festlegen. Aber es ist eben dort nur die Wahl zwischen "Kein" oder "Vertikal" für den Bildlauf. Eine Option für "Horizontal" gibt es erstmal nicht.Mit scrollbaren Gruppen habe ich das Problem, dass meine Interaktionen und Animationen, die ich im Laufe der Website (die nach rechts und links scrollbar sein soll, nicht nach oben und unten) anlege, sich verschieben oder einfach ausgeblendet sind sobald ich einen Bildlauf-Rahmen dafür erstelle. Habt ihr eine Lösung dafür?  Look at the image below. The phone should be showing underneath the other elements, but its still overlaying. This is so essential, but is still broken. How can you deploy such a broken build?  XD is so bugged on basic behaviour, I am forced to migrate to Figma/Sketch. It used to work great, but similar to Illustrator and Photoshop, all good things have to be ruined by Adobe...   

I can't open files on Adobe XD, when I open any file it automatically exits. What happened? Other applications such as PS and AI still work normally. I have submitted a bug report to Adobe but no response yet. What can I do in this situation?

Is there a way to resize a Fixed Size text object and have the text actually resize?Right now only the text frame is resized. Holding Shift, or turning off responsive resize don't make it. Text always stay the same size.

Is there a definitive guide to component overrides and their behaviour?My experience is that it all works with trial and error, you never know exactly what's going to happen when you edit a master component after several instances with overrides are present. This is the same when editing component states. Editing any master component with images or text is an absolute nightmare that involves revisiting every single instance and all of its states. Hardly a time-saving tool.

What happens to my files in the cloud if the Adobe license is closed?
