Adobe XD

Is there a way to show the original Image, that I used in an XD project? Like in inDesign. I love the feature "show in finder" in inDesign. Whith that, I can easily find the original files and can export them with Photohop to the desired dimensions. But in XD I can not even get the original filename, once I had to rename them in order to use Auto-Animate.

What is going on with this? I've imported a PNG image from photoshop, and pasted it in XD, inorder to share the web design. When i preview the design in XD, it looks fine. When I click share, and click the share-link the image becomes all blurry and pixelated, when I view it in the browser. What can be done, this is not an acceptable way to share my design

The font in the first image is just off by a smidge. The second image with the highlighted text shows how it should look. I've changed the character spacing, but this is as close as I can get it. What is happening here, and how do I fix it?    

Hi, I have been facing this issue for sometime and my obsession towards Adobe XD is now completely turned into hatred for the tool. I am using Macbook Pro & my prototype in XD was designed with extensive interactions for a fortune customer, to depict various user journeys & personas captured during requirements gathering workshop. As anticipated, the work was well received by the stakeholders and I was in awe of this tool and its capabilities till 3 weeks back. When it was time for me to share the prototype link with my team members, it started giving me heartburns when after reaching 100% everytime, it was spitting out 44:23 error. And guess what, to attain that 100% it took hours together(literally all night long sometimes) just to give me a glimpse of this annoying 44:23 error. I am just frustrated to the core now and regretting for picking this tool for prototyping. Dear community,Since last week, the link between my UI Design Kit file (which contains my client's component library) and my designs has been broken. Suddenly, that file is no longer shared.I informed Adobe last week and requested an update today. They say, "It's a bug, and the team is working on it." There is no timeline for a solution if there is one. So be watchful. Not only is Adobe leaving us in the dark about the future of XD, nor do they provide a convenient migration to another solution (e.g., Figma), but now they are also starting to break stuff.

Hi,I've updated XD to ver. 57.1.12.2, and the artboard titles in all my XD files changed to unreadable texts.It seems like some of the other users have the same issue in different languages.Is there anything I can do to fix this? Thanks.

Hi,Since last week I haven't been able to click on an element in XD and "Reveal Color in Assets" to inspect what colour has been applied, I have tested this on a few different devices with different Adobe accounts, however none seems to work. Not sure if there is any solution?Thanks.

For some reason, when I try to share a link to present my design, the link is asking for the recipient to log in. My client doesn't have a login. How do I fix this?The design is just one page, with an embedded video. I have also tried to share without the video and same results.

Yes, it’s been a minute, but as an active Creative Cloud user in 2024, I have to ask: Why doesn’t Adobe XD have a Dark Theme yet? Nearly every other Adobe app includes this option, so adding one to XD should be a simple fix for your team. It’s puzzling why this wasn’t available at launch, and it’s long overdue—please let us know when this feature will finally be implemented. While we’re on the topic of updates, Dreamweaver could also use some love. Integrating modern frameworks, supporting the latest CSS/JavaScript standards, and adding real-time collaboration features would bring it back into the spotlight. Stop holding back your best updates—these tools deserve the same innovation you bring to other parts of Creative Cloud. Kind reagrds, 

I am so curious as to whether or not Adobe will once again support this vibrant, comprehensive and delightful tool. I have enjoyed using it since a beta user back in 2016. Hello Community, I would like to know if there is any way to import a .Gif in XD and preview it inside the document without using anima, I ask this because I'm trying to use an animated uploader that was created in adobe animate CC, but it seems impossible to see how the result would be since I am using other components over the animation and it becomes difficult to preview it.   On the same topic, it would be interesting if XD would allow the use of video formats (.gif, .mp4, etc) to be previewed and shared from the platform itself (without using an external extension) it would help to make high fidelity prototypes easily since they don't own an extended animation tool which is sometimes necessary to avoid creating 50+ screens just to make mildly-complex animations.   I'm looking forward to hearing your suggestions and comments on this, thanks!   <Title renamed by moderator>    

After the most recent update I am again unable to edit the text content in existing text boxes in my current XD projects. I am currently on Adobe XD v.26.0.22.5 and Creative Cloud v.5.0.0.354 on OS X 10.14.6. I had this problem last year as well but it eventually went away with an update. Now it has reappeared and I cannot edit my current projects. Additionally I can't even add new text boxes either. I am able to resize and move the text boxes around but cannot modify the content. Anyone else have this issue? I've restarted both XD as well as CC, but that didn't seem to work. Please help!

Hace unos días atrás abrí uno de mis proyectos en xd y noté que aparecían todos sus insumos como enlaces rotos o desvinculados. abro el panel de bibliotecas y resulta que todas han desaparecido. Ingreso a Creative Cloud, exploro las bibliotecas desde allí, y me encuentro con que si existen, siguen allí, pero Xd no las sincroniza, ni me permite crear nuevas.ya intenté:1. Desintalar y volver a instalar2. Desintalar reative Cloud y darle REPARAR3. Pausar la sincronización automatica y volverla activar mil veces desde CCloud.Me salen mensajes que falta la biblioteca.Reviso mis bibliotecas desde el app de XD y no se listan.Me dirijo a Creative cloud y resulta que las librerías si existen y supuestamente estan sincronizadas en todas las apps de adobe.  

I am a bit confused with choosing the right product and of course justifying the annual cost. Muse it seems is on its way out, so is Dreamweaver the only option? I can get Muse if I google it but it does not feature in the Adobe list of products or under subscriptions. I found XD quite easy to use to build a site but now I am stuck on how to publish it. Please help.

 Hi,I recently erased my Mac and when I check libraries shared with me, they are all good in CC, and in "Manage Libraries" > "Browse shared libraries" ( And status all shows they have been added to my library).But when I open XD and click the left library panel, there are nothing, I tried to updated App, restarted my Mac many times , it just doesn't work.......Please anyone can help, our works are highly relied on libraries. Thank you!

Hi, i created a new account and i need to download the XD, How can i do that?  Does not appear in creative cloud. Do i need to download it from a different place?

Can you make a shape stick to the bottom of an artboard? So when you extend the length of the artboard the shape sticks to the bottom? For example: I am making an email template and I need the footer to remain the same when I extend the artboard.

Hi Community,   Would like to share my experience regarding publishing libraries.   While publishing my design system as a library, it takes so long to finish and is continuously still publishing with no progress or indicator showing (just a spinning loader on loop). I also tried this with other of my projects with minimal assets to publish (1 color and 1 component), still the same problem.     When I try to cancel by closing the dialog or the app itself, the library is created but the content or assets are not included there, which means they failed to be published.   Here are my unit specs: - Ryzen 5 2600 - Geforce GTX 1660Ti - HyperX 2666mHz 2x8gb   Appreciate getting a prompt response and hope this will be resolved so I can use this feature. Bonjour,Je viens d'installer XD sur mon ordinateur, lorsque je crée des styles de caractères, le logiciel m'informe que les polices sont manquantes, les polices que j'ai choisi sont des polices Adobe Font, elles devraient normalement se télécharger automatiquement. Je n'ai pas accès à la bibliothèque également. Comment faire pour résoudre ces problèmes. J'ai essayé de désinstaller et de réinstaller le logiciel mais ça n'a rien changé. Je suis sur une version Windows 11 Professionnel Version 21H2, PC Intel Core i9.Merci de votre réponse 

I'm having trouble publlishing a library in Xd. I already have a few libraries on Adobe Cloud working fine that I was updating on a regular basis but all of a sudden they just became unpublished and I'm unable to update/republish/relink them. I created a brand new library and tried publishing it to face the same issue. Help please!

Adobe XD displays fonts as missing with orange exclamation marks. I still can use those fonts, but those exclamation marks are very annoying.    Would anyone happen to know how to fix it? Thanks.

Adobe XD says fonts are missing when they’re not, showing an orange exclamation mark icon (screenshot 1 below). Also when I left click/control click on it, the contextual menu fails to provide a "replace font" option (screenshot 2)? Even though the adobe helpx page says there should be a menu item called "replace fonts" there. Thankfully so far this seems like a cosmetic annoyance more than anything that’s interefering with my work.But it’s still super annoying.  Anyone else getting this, and is there a fix? Thanks. 1. Orange circle icon with exclamstion mark, indicating missing font (shows up even though font is there). 2. No menu item to "replace fonts" exist? Eveen though Adobe Help Desk page says it should? 3. Meanwhile the font is there and seems to be working just fine.

Hi, I’m currently designing an app in Adobe XD. Everything seems perfect, and when I view the prototype on my PC, it looks fine. However, when I try to open it on my phone using the app, all the fonts maintain their height but switch to regular weight. Does anyone know how to solve this issue?
